Excel did a great job cleaning our carpets using an encapsulation technology. We are a large 35-unit condo building with two types of carpets (low and long nap) in our halls, lounges and meeting rooms, all these areas experience significant foot traffic and the dirt and stains expected in such circumstances. We have used steam cleaning for years but had become disappointed with the results. Mike of Excel recommended an alternative method where dirt is encapsulation by a fluid thus releasing it from the carpet fibers to be vacuumed away when dried. As a test we had our main entrance hall, mailroom, elevator and a large reception room cleaned and the results were remarkable. Immediately following the scrubbing with a three-disc rotary machine the carpet patterns were notably brighter, stubborn stains gone and one notorious spot that had resisted all previous treatments greatly diminished. We were pleased at this point, but Mike promised we would be even happier when the areas were vacuumed. And he was right. When our cleaning crew later vacuumed the carpets brightened even more, some said they looked new, and the spot’s lingering smudge disappeared entirely when the dirt was sucked away! The encap method also offers three other great advantages: this is a low-moisture technique drying in 2-3 hours (not 10-24), no long hoses run outside to a noisy truck and it is simply quicker. Mike and Mary are punctual, courteous, efficient and very knowledgeable professionals. We will have them back to do the rest of our carpets.

Excel is awesome! This is our second time using them and will never go anywhere again. Everyone I spoke to over email or the phone were kind, flexible, and helpful. They showed up on time and ready to work, and the prices are affordable. The quality of cleaning is the best I have experienced and I have our carpets cleaned once a year. (Not this time, but the first time we used them, they were able to get a VERY old coffee and creamer stain out of our carpet. We thought that wouldn't be possible as we had several different companies try over the years. BRAVO, Excel.)

Not impressed with this company. Several stains returned as soon as the carpet was dry, and I cleaned them with oxyclean myself after that, and 2 of 5 that I treated myself disappeared. They completely missed the carpet in the hall closet which, when open, shows to the living area and front door. There was a small espresso-maker on the floor there which I'd forgotten was there, but I was home the entire time and he could have easily asked me to move it. Many of the stains were removed completely, and there were lots- no urine, but my cat had been ill and vomited on the floor. I don't know how common or usual it was to have so many stains reappear as I've never cleaned carpets before, but I guess I was just expecting better results. When the cleaner arrived, Michael I think it was, who's been with the company for 3 years, he seemed friendly, helpful, and like he listened well. I had an insulation company there at the same time doing a quote because they were running late, but he was ok with that. I also had some last-minute vacuuming to do and a few items left in one of the rooms that had to finish moving since the other guy was running later, but Michael said it was fine to vacuum while he sprayed cleaner on stains, that he would vacuum the last room himself (which he did), and when I'd finished in one room, he'd moved the little items out of the last room himself, so I was very surprised to realize that he didn't clean the carpet there in the closet and didn't bother to mention it to me or ask me to move the little espresso maker.

They showed up and did an excellent job. I would use this provider again in the future.

They were super awesome that they came in under the promised price. The customer service was excellent that they walk me through everything and it was just really a good experience. The prices were way below retails.

The carpets were in bad shape, but the steam process brought them back. It's been 3 months now and no sign of the old stains coming back. The price was so affordable that I will use them every 6 months!
