Description of Work: I called this place several months ago to get a bid on a fence repair. I did actually receive a call back on that one, but just for them to say they weren't interested. | |I contacted them again for a different job (bigger - replacing back deck and columns out front) a couple of months ago. Never got a response back on that one all. | |All in all, not very professional. Obviously, they must get business, but they must only be interested in REALLY big jobs.

 + -1 moreDan never showed up to do the work. I called him later that day, and he did not return my phone call. I called again Monday morning, and Dan did not return that phone call either. I gave up trying and found someone else to do the work.
Description of Work: I called Dan for an estimate to remove four small dead trees from my yard. He came out 3 days later and told me it would cost $150. I agreed to the price and told him that I wanted him to do the job. He told me he would come Friday morning at 9 AM.

 + -1 moreDan was extremely responsive to my e-mails concerning my request for an estimate for a major yard clean-up on my half acre lakeside property. He gave me an estimate and performed the work as he described he would. The yard looked extremely tidy with lawn edging, all weeds removed, trees and shrubs trimmed back and all debris removed. Bark was then placed in appropriate places. I communicated with Dan via e-mail and phone only as I am living abroad. I must say this was a very good experience. I didn't know who I was getting in to do my yard work - I just went off his e-mails and phone conversations. I liked his responsiveness, he always returned my calls or e-mails immediately. He was very reliable, and I would employ him again next time it's time to tidy up the yard. I got photos of his work from my neighbor, and when I saw it in person a few months later, it still looked good (except for a lot of fallen leaves and small branches after the wind storm last fall).
Description of Work: Dan cleaned up the whole yard front and back. It had been neglected for several years with only the lawn being mowed. Dan came in only days after completing his estimate. He edged the lawn, weeded, pruned roses, shrubs and trees, cut back blackberry bushes which had encroached on the lawn, tidied up old logs and cut back trees along about 100 meters at the edge of the lake. He then put down bark on all the weeded areas.
