Description of Work: He did a good job of narrowing down the source of our problem. I would request this person (owner) again. I can't recall his name but he pretty sure he was the owner. I thought I'd get a call back sooner to arrange an appointment. Which is why I lowered the score on Responsiveness. I was trying to schedule around a weekend and he was very busy at the time. Not a big deal. It's fixed, I'm pleased.

Description of Work: I was very pleased with the experience I had with Reputable Electric. I needed a generator hookup installation. When I called to arrange for a quote, they were ready to come out within 24 hours to inspect the job. Upon inspection, they were ready to come out the very next day to do the job, but the hardware compatible with my electrical box was older and therefore needed to be ordered. When quoting me the price, he itemized all of the charges clearly so I knew what to expect and why, and it was a very fair price, comparable to what I had anticipated. The job was done efficiently, cleaned up completely, and the permit inspector was scheduled by RE, so I had no hassles with that. The inspector said everything was well done and signed off on the job. I will call them again for any other electrical work I might need.

Description of Work: Had a leaking electrical pole that caused $3000 in damage. Had 2 roofers look at it and tell me they couldn't fix it. One electrician told me it would have to be replaced and would require about $2500 to do it. Reliable plugged the hole and did some clean up of my electrical panel. Great job!

Description of Work: We lost 2 outlets and a light in the kitchen and tried ourselves to fix them, replacing the GFCI etc, without any luck. I called Reliable Electic and spoke to Bob, the owner. He was very helpful, taking the time to troubleshoot the problem over the phone with me. I ended up scheduling an appt for the next day. The electritian that showed up, on time, was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I was really impressed with his work ethic of getting it "right" the first time. He was able to locate a short in a wire up in the attic junction box and once fixed, the power was back to all the outlets. Then when that was done he agreed to check out the electic outlet issues at my rental house up the street. I really appreciated that extra effort. Bob the owner also went the extra mile to look up information for me regarding sub meters etc...and then passed the info on with some educational tips. I would highly recommend these guys! They have a buisness/work ethic that I just dont find in the much larger companies.

Description of Work: An inspection report required that I complete 5 electrical issues. I call Reputable with the list and he gave me an estimate. They came the following day and did the work in the estimated time frame and cost. I did have a problem after they left, but it was fixed the next working day. I was billed by e-mail but when I responded that I belonged to Angie's List, he immediately gave me a 10% discount on services. A very painless and satisfying experience.

Description of Work: Trouble shoot electrical problem with kitchen and diningroom lighting and repaired, Installed new light switches in kitchen and installed qty 5 new canned lights in kitchen. workmanship was excellent, electricians were informative, curtious and professional.
