Description of Work: Sent messages through Angie's list site and never got a response.

Description of Work: Replaced 30 yr. old recessed lighting fixture that had gone bad. Was also able to install a new ceiling light fixture and dimmer switch within the first hour of minimum charge for a service call. Prompt and professional.

Description of Work: Left contact information on the mornings of 1/19/16, 1/20/16. requesting an appraisal for wiring and hanging two chandeliers. I could not reach anyone by phone, and no calls were returned. On 1/21/16, at 4:20 PM, I tried again and reached Brittany. I told her who was calling and that I left two previous messages, none of which were returned. She asked my phone number, and explained they could only go by that since their voice mail was not working correctly. I gave her my number, and she actually seemed annoyed. She told me to hold on, she would have to restart her computer. At that point I told her not to bother, since I wasn't going to deal with a company that couldn't return phone calls and gave the impression of "could care less'. I'll call another company that actually wants the work.

Description of Work: This company was hired by a real estate client to clean up some electrical work previously done by the owner that was not to code. They showed up on time and did the work in just over an hour, providing some suggestions on how to fix the situation with the least amount of work. When they were done the wiring appeared to be professional rather than it's prior state.

Description of Work: No show for first appointment. |Owner, himself came for second appointment to give a bid. |Not all the work we talked about was done, but not all the work we talked about was included in the bid, so that was my oversight in not reading the bid more carefully. |I would hire again, but also make sure all that was talked about was reviewed prior to work.

Description of Work: replaced 100 amp service with 200 amp, and replaced bent service mast at a cost lower that other bids for just replacing the 100 amp service. Work was done in a professional manner

Description of Work: We called for an assessment to determine why a breaker kept going off. The property manager and tenant broke the breaker switch trying to keep power live. The Reputable serviceperson found the short, which was not only several rooms away, but two stories down from where they thought the problem was. Appropriate corrective action was taken at a reasonable price.

Description of Work: in response to power surges/dimming caused by a faulty neutral connection that the power company failed to lay claim to - paid initial visit late evening in response to emergency call after damaging power surge - in future visits assessed problem and installed surge protector in panel and new circuits for susceptible electricals - ultimately determined a problem with the neutral that the power company subsequently (that day) attended to - the services provided by Reputable were above and beyond what you could expect from a service provider and at a very reasonable cost

Description of Work: put in a cheap fan in bathroom. I felt i overpaid for the fan that they used. since we had this put in I get more mold at top of wall. have to bleach more often.

Description of Work: Installed a vanity fixture in bathroom, switched kitchen and bathroom to GFI plugs, and worked on outside lighting issue that tripped the breaker box. They did an excellent job tracking down a difficult issue with outside pond wiring that had been cut by previous garden help. They were prompt, courteous, and even took the initiative to fix a bolt on my garden gate that needed a couple of screws. Way beyond my expectations.

Description of Work: This is the third time I've used these guys to add circuits to my garage and I am always happy with their work. They send someone out to evaluate the job, discuss options with you, and give you a price. The price they quote is always fair and they usually do the work in less time and so charge you less. | | |After one of the jobs, the electrical inspector got to the house and started complaining about my liberal use of extension cords (unrelated to the work these guys did) and you can tell she was dreading what she would find when she examined the actual work. When she asked who did the work and I said it was these guys, she didn't even bother looking and just said "Oh, those guys are always really good" and then signed off on the job. She was right about the extension cords though, so when I needed new circuits this time for other purposes, I had these guys add new outlets for the existing circuites to eliminate the cords. They do that work so fast it barely registered in the cost.

Description of Work: Found a faulty wire that was preventing us from installing a baseboard heater. He quickly tracked down the problem and hooked up the heater.

Description of Work: Added 6 canned lights to my kitchen, installed light outlets to my garage (outside) and installed matching lights to garage and front porch, and they all work on the same switch. |Added an outlet to my back porch outside. Installed a ceiling fan in my bedroom where nothing existed. Added an extra plug outlet in my bathroom. Everything went exactly as planned.
