Description of Work: He came out took measurements. Gave us ideas. Told us he'd get back with us in a week to 10 days. Never heard from him again.

Description of Work: Paul came to site and took down information to give a bid. Never gave a bid. I called him and he said he had been busy and would get back to me. He never did call back or supply a bid. I guess a $200,000.00 garage/shop was not a big enough job for him.

Description of Work: they remodeled two bathrooms and their services were excellent. couldn't ask for a more professional job. We love both of the bathrooms. I am hoping they will come back to do the kitchen

Description of Work: Paul came over and briefly looked at our old 1/2 bath and closet areas in the center of our house we wanted to turn into a handicap-accessible "barrier free" 3/4 bath. His proposal arrived via email within 24 hours. It was labor only, and we were to select and purchase all materials, fixtures, etc. It seemed outrageously expensive at the time - we had a range of bids from others too - but I am just completing the work on my own and now believe the bid was very reasonable. My impression on meeting Paul was that he and his organization would be easy to work with.

Description of Work: I wanted a bid for an addition to my home. I paid $2,500.00 for their Plans and Blueprints.., but it was impossible to get a hold of Doug and he never did give me a total price. I think he was going to Sub-contract out everything and that would have called for 4 to 6 vendor bids. It just never happened.

Description of Work: One of the staff handymen came to do a variety of jobs. Took down valances, removed a laundry shelf, and fixed a doorknob.

Description of Work: My previous contractor abandoned the job and Paul came in and rescued my remodel.fixed all the things the previous contractor cut corners on and fished everything up beautifully! !

Description of Work: Remodel mud room/laundry area to put in a 3/4 aging-in-place bathroom. It went very well, other than some miscommunication about how long I could live without the use of the washer/dryer during construction. I am worried about wheel-chair accessibility, given that the space is quite tight, but I think they did the best they could with what we had to work with. Very much enjoyed Paul & all the people on his crew, & they were very responsive. Would've given them a rating of triple A+ in that category if it were an option in the Angie's List ratings.

Description of Work: Based on multiple good reviews we contacted Paul for a quote on a small Master bathroom renovation. We told Paul we went in a hurry but were looking to get someone out in the next couple of weeks for a quote. We emailed him our information that day (May 13) with details regarding what we wanted done. We figured it might take him a week our so to get back with us because Paul told us he had multiple projects going. Unfortunately, he never got back to us. Just yesterday we noticed we need someone out asap due to water damage we found. We considered calling Paul but our confidence in his commitment was shaken due to the fact he never called back or returned our email. We would consider hiring in the future if reviews continue to be positive.

Description of Work: Very high prices for small remodel job. We have had what we wanted done for half the price by another company. Yes, they are licensed and insured, just the same as Haugen said the reasoning behind his price.

Description of Work: Contacted Mr. Haugen after reading reviews on Angies List. Scheduling to provide an estimate was done easily and Mr. Haugen was on time and very professional. He provided his estimate quickly and thoroughly.

Description of Work: We found Paul Haugen Construction on Angie's List and are very happy with the results. Paul and his crew did an excellent job with the kitchen and bath remodel. The crew showed up on time, did professional work and cleaned up after themselves each day. Paul provieded accurate estimates on cost and length of time to complete the job. Good communication throughout the process.

Description of Work: We requested Haugen Const. to give us an estimate on a kitchen remodel. They came out two or three times, but never did give us a written estimate and every time Mr. Haugen indicated he would get back to us by a particular date with answers or information the responses were a week or two weeks later. Not a good indication of dependability.
