Horrible Experience! The 1st tech they sent out said our system looked like it was in really good condition and didn't see any problems - I paid for the service call. Called again and told them to send someone else because the AC still wasn't cooling the house. The 2nd tech they sent said I needed a new air compressor and a lot of Freon $$$ - paid them to do it. One week later - AC not cooling house again. The owner sent same tech out to put some blue leak seal gunk on 2 end caps and a lot more freon. One week later - Ac not cooling house again. Called and told them to put installing a brand new whole house air cleaner on hold until they could fix the AC that is STILL not cooling the house - owner was highly volatile and actually YELLED at me when I asked him to please fix the AC cooling problem before adding a new whole house air cleaner. Wow! Had to call another company to come and fix AC which cost me a small fortune in more freon $$$$ and an actual leak test.

My wife and I are enjoying the quiet efficient new gas boiler and hot water heater Gig Harbor Heating & AC installed this week. The installers, Austin and Travis, did an outstanding job. They were both so friendly and congenial, it was almost like having friends over to help me install the new furnace and H20 tank, except my friends did all the work! And also all the clean-up! From Robert’s first site visit, to Kim’s work on estimates and scheduling, and Austin’s and Travis’s removal and install, it was a pleasure to work with everyone. My advice to anyone considering a new home heating or AC system, go with Gig Harbor Heating & AC. You won’t be disappointed.

The service was not very good. The guy didn't know the piece of equipment. He charged me for replacing a filter. It worked until he got out of the driveway and then it went back to whatever problem it had. I had an electronic humidifier that goes with the system. He didn't know how to work it. They should have sent somebody who knows how to work a humidifier for the one they sold me. Installation was 'A', service was 'C'. With installation, everything was done really nice. They did a nice job installing it because we also had a tankless water heater put in.

Work seemed fine generally but with some aspects not to my satisfaction. The system could not pass a system test and they had to come back multiple times. I was promised a rebate from Pen Light. 8 months later I am still waiting with excuse after excuse. Pen Light informed me that they have removed Gig Harbor Heating from their approved list because they are not responsive enough and many customers have had problems.
