Gig Harbor Garage Doors

I was out of town and a spring broke on our garage door trapping my wife's car inside. We have had pairs of garage door springs replaced in the past for about $250-300. (springs can be purchased for $30-50 each, takes about an hour, and with profit it winds up in roughly that range without tax.) My wife had never hired a contractor for this service before and found a website for "Gig Harbor Garage Door Repair" (a.k.a "Gig Harbor Garage Door"). "Roy" quickly showed up at the house and must have realized she needed to get her car out and didn't know how much it should cost. He gouged us for $821 to do the work ($250 for EACH spring, $250 for 45 minutes of labor, $71 tax). Not realizing how much it should cost and needing to leave, she agreed to it. I called Roy the next day to let him know that we felt that he took advantage of the situation and that the cost of the repair should have been two to three times less. $250 for springs that can be purchased on the internet $30-60 and $250 for 45 minutes of labor is unwarranted. Roy basically told me that he didn't agree with me, they can set their prices how they want, and my wife agreed to it excessive or not. However, he said he would talk to his boss and get back to me. He hasn't responded or answered a subsequent text. Please note that we are not sure what Roy's actual business name is and suspect he has several websites and phone numbers. We went to one of them call "gig harbor garage door repair." However, he hand wrote "gig harbor garage door" on the receipt. There are many permutations of these names with websites with partial or bogus physical addresses and different phone numbers.
