Diamond Construction

I highly recommend Diamond Construction. Les and Eric just finished up our kitchen and powder room remodel. They were on time, on budget, great craftsmen, and cared about making the design and construction work for you. Les stood out from the start. He was better in every sense of the word compared to the other two bidders: His vast experience (40+ years remodeling), desire to understand how we used the space, careful and thorough measurements, thoughtful design, and reasonable price. During construction, they communicated the day's work, always showed up, addressed every question I had, was detailed and precise, and cleaned-up. The results are amazing. I will have Diamond Construction back for future remodels.

Les Hooper was right on time for the estimate; supplied the estimate when he said he would; then started and completed the work in a very timely manner. He kept me informed of all the progress and asked questions as he went along. He went to additional work to try and get a matching tile for the bathroom, as the tile was 40 years old and no longer made. He found a very acceptable match. We were completely pleased with Les' work and look forward to working with him on additional projects.

Of the 4 other companies I contacted, Diamond took the longest to get back to me with 2 voice mails being required. However, it was not ultimately a problem as I had the estimate complete within a week of first contact attempt. First impressions speak a thousand words, and I found it very odd the guy seemed hesitant to shake my hand. I read his expression as it was odd to him I was extending my hand while we were introducing ourselves. Maybe he's a germaphobe. Maybe it is because he had just started to put something in his right hand. Hopefully it's not because I'm a woman. He took two measurements of my house, while the other companies spent 15 minutes or so getting exact measurements of everything. But his final estimate was close enough to the others I received, it is possible he's just been doing this long enough to know. The estimate was written on the back of a card, while other companies provided detailed breakdowns on carbon copy paper. Overall, his professionalism was acceptable as he was polite and wasn't pushy about anything. I don't have a complaint per se, just found some of these things odd.

Very smooth installation which looks as though it was originally designed into the space. Paint and texture matched perfectly.

As I stated above all went well. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Did a great job laying out a plan and stuck with the job once started until they were complete. They were oriented to making sure you were happy

From our first meeting at the Tacoma Home and Garden Show through every step from bidding to selecting fixtures, we are extremely satisfied with Diamond Construction. Everything is beautiful! Les and Glen were prompt, kept us apprised of the daily schedules, returned phone calls quickly, and answered all our questions completely. Throughout the process of selecting cabinets, granite, flooring, fixtures, we received courteous and professional service. Les and Glen are craftsmen and we continue to be extremely satisfied with their work. I will continue to recommend them to others.
