I am using them right now and I used them for another job before that. I am very pleased with them. I liked that they stuck with their bids for one thing. They showed up and did the work in a timely manner, and I thought the quality was good. Their prices were competitive, and they were very responsive.

Being a product manager in the consumer goods space I had a firm idea of what I wanted for shaped, textures and functionality. I was able to convey this to Daryl at American Concrete with detailed drawings. What I did not understand was process and materials. Daryl was able to take my vision and add suggestions for stains and concrete finishes that I had never thought of. While AC also does large scale commercial jobs, they have a firm handle on more decorative residential applications. My only point would be punctuality. And it was more weather related than AC's fault. Being highly schedule oriented it was a hindrance, but I also understand the realities of weather, and AC's good judgment in this area probably netted in a better end product. What impressed me most about AC was that Daryl stopped by every few months to see how things were holding up and if we were still satisfied with the work. While we live on opposite ends of town it was like he was a neighbor who was first and foremost interested in our happiness as customers. Since then I have run other planned projects by Daryl. We haven't pulled the trigger on any yet AC acts as a trusted friend and adviser on how to best execute once we are ready.

These guys were awesome. They showed up on time for the estimate and were prompt to set forms, install drains and pour new cement. Rusty and his crew were completely professional and courteous. He listened to what we wanted to accomplish and was able to offer realistic suggestions. The finished project looks great! They cleaned up after themselves and did a tremendous job at everything. I would defintely invite them back for future cement work.

They did a great job. Pad was properly located, level and surface finished. A driveway is next.

We received an amazing response to our request for a bid for a sidewalk, a patio, a hot tub pad and 4 deck columns to be poured. They seemed very anxious to begin work and were out to start framing the following week. Weather allowing our concrete was poured and the forms removed. Then, not a word for almost a week and half. We made a call to ask about the strange color left behind on the patio, and were told they still have to seal it (this could have been easily communicated to avoid confusion). We then asked when should we make final payment and I was told by Darryl that he wanted to make sure we were happy first. Then they came out to fix the basketball size spots where the sealer did not take and made my patio much darker than we wanted, and the color was unevenly spread, it was very defined in some areas and too much color in others. I sent a letter to complain about this and received a phone call from Darryl, he said his crew said it looked fine, I told him that they should pay for it then, I thought my opinion was the important one? He agreed to come out in 2 weeks because fishing season was starting (again, we got put on hold) then he broke our appointment for June 11th @ 5:15 by no showing and not calling. It wasn't until 8 days later he called and gave a string of excuses as to why he did not call or come out, any one of them would have been swallowed easier a week prior. Then nothing from until the 23d of June when he shows up un-announced and with three of his crew. they all get out smoking in my yard and walking on the patio, then Darryl starts talking , then Russell, and then one of his workers starts complaining to me. I asked them to leave as I could only argue with one person at a time. Darryl told me he wanted his money and that there was nothing he could do to make me happy (funny, because he said in earlier conversations that he would do whatever it took to make us happy). I offered him %50 pay for work completed on the patio $520.00 and he refused, instead he offered %75 or he would take me to court. To date this is where we stand.
