Catwalk was great to work with, flexible with changes and had many suggestions on what we could do with our uneven ground. The workmanship was excellent and the crew that built the fence were friendly and easy to have around.

The whole reason I am doing this review is because Rob was honest with us. Even though it meant he didn't get any work from us, he walked me around and showed me exactly why the fence would not contain our dog, and why it would look terrible on our bumpy and sloping yard. He did offer some alternative fencing ideas which WOULD work, and gave us a very competitive bid for those (still cheaper for materials and install of a sturdy wooden picket-style fence than our other bids for materials and install of a simple field fence). The most important and valuable thing was that he gave us the benefit of his knowledge and experience, and helped us make a decision that was right for us, rather than just doing what we asked and letting us feel stupid afterwards when it looked bad. We went around our area afterwards and looked at installed field fences, and we could see that Rob was exactly right about what a mistake it would have been for us to do one. Instead, we decided to follow Rob's advice and install our invisible fence. It truly is the best option for us, and I'm so impressed and grateful that Rob was more concerned about our satisfaction with the finished product than whether or not he got the job. Even though he didn't end up doing a fence for us, I recommend him to anyone considering a yard fence. He has a good deal of experience and expertise, and he will help you make the best decision for your needs. It's such a relief to find someone that helpful and honest that I just had to do a review. It was a free estimate, but I hope this review will help repay Rob for his professionalism and time and honest advice. We will absolutely call Rob for any future fencing needs.

They're very conscientious, very tidy, very neat, very exact and did good work. He goes over the options. It ended up looking really good. The fencing itself had vertical and horizontal lines and if you follow how the vertical lines were kept vertical along the slope, you can see that he kept the vertical lines vertical and the horizontal lines horizontal by periodically stepping the fence down. He configured the fence to our property and we would use him again without hesitation.

The decking and handrails around our home had become rotten and unsafe. One section had shifted. Robert came out to estimate the work and discuss options for decking and handrails. He made recommendations based on pricing and maintainability of material. He let us know that the selected handrails were a long lead item. We requested and accepted his bid. He gave us an estimated time to start the work. He called a week before that time to reconfirm when he expected the handrails and what he expected his schedule to be. He then came and started to remove the old decking at those areas where it could be safely removed. He moved through the remaining decking as the handrails arrived. He kept us up to date on issues and schedules. There were several hidden damage issues that were found during the installation. He pointed them out ahead of time and provided a price to do these additional repairs before he did the work. We agreed that these items could not have been seen during the bid phase. Robert and his son Josh performed the work. They were courteous and enjoyed working with each other. They were responsive to our questions and concerns. They reworked several pieces that we wanted to see done slightly different. The end product is of very high quality and is a vast improvement over the decks that were replace. They took pride in their work and went out of their way to make everything square and clean. They are craftsmen who take pride in their work. We think that they gave us 110% effort and value for our money. They left the site in a clean and safe condition at the end of every day. Overall there were no surprises and we are are very pleased with the end results.
