I was quite surprised to find out the roof had been totally replaced by the time I got home from work. They had come and gone and I would have never known except the roof was a different color! My husband and adult kids heard the hammering and saw the work as it went along. But there was not one bit of mess when I got home. (It was like the shoemaker and the elves - finished without me witnessing a thing) The last time I'd had a roof replaced on a smaller house, it took much longer! Before, I'd had to pay 1/2 the amount up front and with Stewart Roofing, I was sent a bill later. And the bill was just what I expected - no surprises. This replacement was due to the recent windstorms we'd had and the insurance company gave us an estimate for the half damaged by the storms. The insurance estimate for half a roof was 1/2 what Stewart Roofing charged us for the entire roof and that was with the upgrade to the fungus resistant shingles! So I'd say their prices are very consistent with what the insurance company had in mind.

Happy they could come out so quick for the repair. Unfortunately I didn't hear back for a while...I think they got bogged down with other roofing jobs and could not replace my roof in the time frame I was hoping for, I went with another company for the replacement but Stewart was my 1st choice.

They did an excellent job. I didn't need to stay home to meet them, and the roof and gutters are exceptionally clean. Very professional and timely.

They came out and met with me once. They were always on time. They stayed on the job until they were finished. They said it was the most complicated residential roof they have done in their life. And I have not had a leak at all! It looks like dormers and a couple of flat spots in my area that made it so complicated. They inspected it 5 or 6 times to make sure it was all done correctly. I am very pleased with it! He gave me a very good price compared to a couple other places. I am just elated with their service. He took me around to show me other people?s homes that they had done as well. I was referred to him by a neighbor that was using him.

I spent about $7200. The roof was replaced because it was torched down and the porch had water damage and either termite or ant damage. I think overall they were very professional and thorough and good job. The owner kept us well informed about when he could do the job and if there were any potential delays due to the weather or staffing issues. The workers that came and did the work were very professional and did a goo job. The prices were good.

We were given a senior discount from the original bid. The crew showed up on time and completed the job within one day. The leak re-appeared, I notified Rick, and within three days a supervisor showed up and re-worked the corner to ensure it would not leak again. I monitored the area for four more months and it has not leaked since. I was very greatful for the response and positive attitude on the part of the company to ensure success. Great job, great crew.

The day before the project they dropped a trailer of supplies. They showed up the next day at 7:30 am. They worked all day with only a half hour lunch. They finished the job the same day at a quarter to 5. I was very impressed and I suggest anyone needing a new roof to contact them.

They were on time, did the work and did a good job. He was quick! He explained what he was doing which was nice. Their price was very reasonable. I would hire them again.

They did a fantastic job! They were on time, professional and even worked over the weekend to get my roof done. They poor guys were working on my roof during our recent record-breaking cold snap. Tim, the customer service rep I spoke with on the phone, has fantastic customer service skills. Rick, the owner, was also very open and available when I needed to speak with him (even when he was supposed to be on vacation). I highly recommend Stewart Roofing and would absolutely call on them again.

It went really well. Stewart roofing showed up and gave us a detailed report on the condition of our roof. As it turned out, our roof still has 5-10 years of life left in it. This was very good news for us, since we were half expecting that we had to replace the roof. Apart from that we had two small leaks in our roof. They fixed the leaks right away and within an hour we had good information on the condition of our roof, as well as two leaks fixed. The cost was very reasonable and we are very happy with the service provided to us by Stewart Roofing and we will hire them again for future roofing repairs.

We were satisfied with their work. Their bid was good and the price was competitive. They honored their discount with Angie?s List. They were on time. They didn?t clean up quite as well as I would have liked. We saw a few shingles in our bushes. I would rate them highly except for the cleanup which they didn?t do well. I would use them in the future.

The early phone calls with the company were great. I felt really confident that they were probably the best company for the job. As soon as one thing went wrong, they became VERY unprofessional. They tried to intimidate me and make me feel like I created the problem. They were not punctual, had to come back several times to fix the leaking, and yelled at me. I actually felt physically threatened by the man I was dealing with, the owner. If you care about the overall transaction, I would highly recommend using someone like A Better Roofing company, or really any other company. These guys are real scoundrels. No doubt they'll respond to this post in all caps or something.

It went very well. The estimator came out and inspected our leaky roof and found two vents were cracked and a shingle was missing. They checked the whole roof and found no other issues. He showed me the pictures of the cracks and the area missing the shingle, and the reasons why it probably occured. He had to go to the office to pick up the new vents and supplies, and came back later that day to fix the issues. We have had no leaks since then and I am glad I got it done now before the rainy season really hits! :-) He also gave me good advise on the lifespan of the current roof type and a rough estimate for better roofing options so I could budget for the future.

They did a good job and their price was very competitive too. I was happy with the overall service they provided.

We had two providers from angies list come out and we chose Steward roofing. There were heavy rains and then it froze and snowed and then the leaks developed. They were really busy that week as everybody had the same problem. They came out and gave us the estimate. They said that they would come out to do the work in a week?s time. They came in within 4 days and fixed the roof area. They were here for less than 2 hours and they were done. They stuck to their estimate which was good. They ensured that it never leaked again. It has rained and we did not have any leak at home.

The phone conversations with the company were quite positive as was the consistency on pricing. The experience fell apart when it came to the roofer interaction. I was at home meeting with a realtor when the roofer arrived and began working. We were in the backyard discussing the home when the roofer came to the roof's edge and called down "hey sweetie". He then proceeded to tell me that the roof had a lot of problems and made a shushing gesture - I suppose to imply that we could pretend that it was fine. It was a completely bizarre interaction and mortifying given that a realtor was standing right next to me - the realtor told me after I'd apologized to him that he'd thought the roofer was my fiance because of how he spoke to me! ,Needless to say, I'll be calling in another company to do a complete inspection.

It went pretty well. There was some lag time in the beginning as there was an emergency within the company and some personnel had to be out of town. That lost time made me fairly anxious as it was rainning and my roof was leaking and I hadn't been contacted.

This company is very professional and responsive. I got three bids before hiring them. Their price was very close to the other bids. Rick Stewart explained everything thoroughly, taking the time to answer my questions in detail. The roofing crew were experienced and worked quickly. They did a good job of cleaning up. I was not satisfied with the look of the skylight installation at first. I called and spoke to Rick Stewart and he sent the crew back within a day or two. They completely re-installed the skylight to my satisfaction.

Prompt in making estimate. I got 4 estimates and Stewarts was the only one that followed up. I selected Stewart because of the price, terms and reports from the BBB website and Angie's List and location. The job consisted of removal of one layer and haul away old roofing materials. Replace with color and type of roofing materials selected. Tim the office manager was professional and was able to answer my questions. I delayed in making my decision because one company suggested I may have an insurance claim. Because of the time of year March, I signed the agreement on Thursday and the work was completed on Saturday. The lead roofer was polite and answered any questions I had. No plywood replacement was required.

During the recent rain storm there was an obvious leak in the roof and also water leaking in around the frame of the chimney. I called up Stewart Roofing and was informed that it wouldn't be until the following day until someone could inspect my roof. However, I got a call later stating that someone was in the area and would be by in ten minutes. My roof was inspected and diagnosed. Treatment was rendered to a portion of the roof and to the chimney structure itself. I dealt with Tim on the phone. He was very professional, friendly and helpful. Rick came to the house and was friendly and straightforward. I was very pleased with the overall experience.

I called Rick Stewart during a recent storm here in Washington. He was busy, but he said he call me and try to get out the next day. He called me back the next day and rescheduled for Saturday at noon. What I didn't know was that he didn't work on Saturday. The owner himself drove 50 miles to take of my problem. I was impressed. After finishing the job, he wasn't going to charge me because he was late getting to me. I paid him $150.00 anyway. This kind of service just doesn't happen, does it?

Overall the experience was relatively stress-free. They were quick to visit my house and provide a thorough quote. A few weeks passed until I decided to proceed. I visited their supplier to confirm the type of shingle and, once that was done, materials were ordered and delivered. The work progressed fine. Weather is spotty in November but it was completed over 8 days. There were minor changes along the way and some minor touch up had to be done inside around the skylights but this was taken care of without any problems.

My experience with them was good. The roof was put on. I would recommend them and use them again. There wasn't any fuss or mess.

Issue with replacing plywood that was not needed. We only wanted plywood that was soft/unsafe replaced. Since in the bid on the sheets cost $45 we wanted to view before any were replaced. This caused problems with the roofers and customer service at Stewart's roofing. Stewart's roofing became very unprofessional when we questioned them.
