+ -1 moreTechnician was professional and informative. Dryer fixed and working when technician left. Make sure to use the Angie's list coupon. The labor cost is addition to a diagnostic fee ($79.00,) is to high but if you want it fixed that is what you have to pay. Changing a fuse is simple and easy, but the manufacture puts the fuse in a place which a novice would not know where to look for it , and the Dryer instruction manual told me what the problem was, but did not tell me where the fuse was located on the Dryer. Thanks Kenmore!
Description of Work: Dryer not working. Service requested: DCS not Heating. Technician Comments (on final receipt): Replaced Thermal Fuse, instructed member to clean vents in wall to outside or it will blow fuse again. The Bill: Diagnostic Fee: $79.00, Thermal Fuse: $90.00, Angie's List coupon discount: -$33.00, Tax on Labor: $12.84. Total Labor: $148.04 (This was for a 30 minute job) Really!! Parts Required: Sub Fuse-Thrml 26 110 WP3392519 Qty 1: $24.24 (part cost on Sears Parts Direct: $12.31), Angie's List coupon discount: -$4.85, Tax on Parts: $1.84, Total Parts; $21.23. Original Estimate; $169.27 (no estimate was give either verbally or written to me the customer). Grand Total; $169.27

+ -1 moreIt went smooth. While I take my Dodge Caravan (still under warranty and all), I take my Dodge Neon (paid off and not under warranty, lol) to Sears for maintenance. They met with me when I pulled up, took my car and it no time I was taken care of.
