Its was unfortunate that we were not able to reach out to a. [Member Name Removed] in a timely manner. We always strive to make contact within 24 hours of a request. However, for a few days earlier this week we had so much unexpected demand we did not even have enough time to contact everybody to let them know we were temporarily overwhelmed with requests. Often messages in the message center can be missed, we recommend email or phone contact.

They looked at the whole system and were able to give me information about shut off valves, adjusting timing to weather conditions, and what to do if areas of spray begin to change. They carefully considered the needs of each location and took time to set the spraying heads appropriately.

It is with pleasure that I write this review. This company is stellar! Everyone we dealt with was professional and hard working. The owner, Aaron is honest and on top of everything. The foreman of our job, Jose, showed up around 7:30 every day with his crew, and wow, they work hard! Most of the trenching had to be done by hand. Our soil is full of rocks and tree roots, our quarter acre lot is odd shaped, we have large trees that interfere with flow design, the water main intercept was buried under pave stones, .. Lastly, we had already planted about $300. worth of annuals, and had well established perennials in our flower beds. I was very skeptical when Aaron said they could do the job with minimal damage to our pave stones, beds and lawn. I was very pleasantly surprised by the results! You could barely tell where the trenches were dug after a week. We lost very few flowers in the beds. When it was discovered the control box we had in the contract was on back order, Aaron volunteered they put in a temporary box. We could withhold $500. until the permanent box was installed. I would definitely recommend Rain Pros to others. They do a great job!

First of all, a big kudos and thanks to Rain Pros, to Aaron and his work crew. I do not think I have ever seen a harder working crew, with such work ethic and professionalism in many, many years of hiring out for various yard projects. No one will be disappointed! We had an existing sprinkler system for the front lawn as well as the side and back landscaped areas. But the previous owners never had the system extended to the backyard and we were tired of always stretching hosing and impact sprinklers to maintain the yard throughout the summer and fall. Aaron came out a few day after I called to ask for a bid, he walked me through my concerns and gave me some ideas of what he thought would work best as far as sprinkler placement, types of heads to use and how many zones would be needed. They had a large obstacle they would have to contend with, as we have a county easement on our property for the Clover Creek spillover, so basically we have a "moat" separating the front yard and house, from the backyard. He explained they would trench down our side graveled driveway, pipe across and under the bridge and continue the trench to the water main box they would set up to run the backyard zones. None of this he felt was daunting and seemed confident that it wouldn't be a problem in the least. They gave me a bid within a few days ($3200 and some change) and came in by far, the best. One place was over $1000.00 more for less zones and wanted to route the front water main under the house and across the "moat" another way, obviously costing us way more, and could be adjusted from there (we didn't go with them). Another was closer to the Rain Pro bid, but wanted to use different products and they were booking out 3+ weeks away and it took them over a week to get a bid in (so, we also didn't go with them). The crew showed up at the specified time on May 20th, only 3 of them and started work right away. Jose (foreman), Arturo and Scotty were awesome. Aaron was there as well to go over the final sprinkler placement locales with his crew and myself and explain what was going to happen. Jose and gang started raking gravel out of the way off of the drive and raked the mulch from the landscaping, to prepare for the trenching machine. They fired up the trencher and it did what it did, noisy but quick. We have some very bad fill dirt on our property and had tons of large river rocks coming up during the trenching, but it kept plugging along. They then moved the trencher to the yard and also hand dug, pick-axed and shoveled out the trenches till they were at sufficient depth for laying down the piping. They decided to put in 4 zones, as we have a very large backyard (3 in the yard and 1 in the raised garden/water feature area), plus we asked for a hose bib in the far backyard, that is supplied by the sprinkler piping. In all we have 13 sprinklers (they used Hunter brand heads) in the yard and they cover everything and overlap very well with not an area missed. Plus we have 3 more sprinklers covering a raised garden bed and our plants all around our water feature (again using Hunter). The sprinklers are easy to adjust for the novice like me and I only had to tweak a few of them to cover some plants a bit more. We are very pleased with the results and are so glad to not have to mess with hosing anymore. The price was right, they completed the job in 2 days (with a three man crew), explained all they were doing, if I had questions throughout and they worked harder than anyone I have ever seen. We are operating the system manually as the new controller with Wi-Fi and interface capabilities is on back order for a few weeks, but it is no sweat opening the backyard water main box next to the shed and turning them on manually for now. Once we have the control pad installed, it will run the whole system and even connect to the weather service to determine optimal watering schedules. Plus when away from home, we'll be able to control the entire system from a computer or smart phone! Again, many thanks to Aaron, Jose, Arturo and Scott for all of their hard work and professionalism. I would emphatically recommend them to anyone and use them again, without question. You'd be hard pressed to find a better service than Rain Pros!

I reached out to Aaron late last year when I was looking to get an irrigation system set for my home. It continues to boggle my mind that homes in this region don't by default install these systems, but I assume that the greater rain in the past is largely the reason why. I feel it should be there as a choice, and Aaron was great to work with to get this done. During this process I switched jobs as I got increasingly frustrated at work, and I had to defer the project until I got back to a stable point. Aaron was fully understanding and patient, and I got to circle back with him in April. Original quoted price hadn't changed. New employer unexpectedly shipped me out on business travel twice in succession, so I had to again defer the work. Aaron was still understanding, and it finally got locked in this past Thursday. The guys showed up right after 8am and got to work. They took small breaks roughly every hour, which is good because it seemed to keep them efficient at the task. I estimate they were all wrapped up about 2pm-ish, well in advance of the 2-day estimate. Aaron and Brandon did have to come back out to program the timer and do a final review of the work yesterday, but that was just a few minutes. There were a couple of issues, the majority of which Aaron is working to resolve. First, the specific controller I wanted is out of stock from the manufacturer, so the system is only on a set timer for now. That's fine, it's functional, and Aaron offered a temporary withhold of the price until the part comes in, at which point I'd pay the difference. Second, one of the sprinklers was throwing into the neighbors' yard which I didn't want; Aaron adjusted it down but it kept going too far. He then noticed the sprinkler head appeared to be off center; a properly placed rock took care of this. That same sprinkler head was bleeding out after they got the system programmed, so a stop valve would be needed (the sprinkler head is in the lowest part of the lawn). The biggest issue, which is fully disclosed in advance and for which I hold no fault to Aaron, is the finished lawn condition. I state here that you should expect your lawn to be put back roughly 90% of what it was before starting. If at all possible, if you're doing re-sod or some other work to the lawn, do the irrigation on or before when this work begins so that there is no visible disruption. In my case I wasn't doing any dig-specific work, so I had no choice. The builders had run some lines under the lawn at parts which affected the installation and the team couldn't use the cutting machine they normally use for the work, so they had to use shovels to dig the trenching. The roots from the center trees was especially a pain and there are a lot of rocks in the soil. I noticed that one of the guys was quite methodical in making sure that the lawn segments were put back as neatly and perfectly as possible, where the other guys just sort of put the stuff back in best they could. As a result, the one guy's section looks so good you can't tell anything was installed there, but the rest of the lawn has a visible line pattern running through it. They do throw down seed over the trenched parts so that new grass can form, but I was still disappointed that the rest of the lawn couldn't have been put back as neatly as the first guy's work. He definitely deserves a raise. Overall, I am pleased with the outcome, the friendliness and efficiency of the team, and Aaron as a manager. Price is extremely competitive (half the price of the nearest competitor with less efficient parts!), great warranty, and flexible scheduling.

This is a wonderful company. Aaron, the General Manager, was very knowledgeable and was very happy to discuss the options and overall objective of our project. After discussing the project we decided on a game plan and it worked out great. We originally were just going to do the drainage on the property as were getting a lot of run off from uphill properties, but then we found that an old retaining wall the had been there for a really long time was failing and the wall falling in toward the house. Aaron came out gave us a really reasonable price on both projects- the retaining wall was about 70' ft long and 4' high with 1 and a half courses buried to support the wall- and the retaining wall looks great. The overall job may have been small but it was pretty detailed. Aaron's foreman on the job was friendly, approachable and just a nice person all the way around. The crew was efficient and the work was done quickly and the yard left very clean. They even filled a depression in the back yard by the retaining wall and reseeded which was beyond the scope. I would encourage anyone to feel fully confident in contacting this company. They are well worth the time to get an estimate and professional opinion on your project. I would hire them again absolutely! Great job, thank you Rain Pros.

Rain Pros was my lowest bid and offered the best warrenty (lifetime). These were deciding factors. Also appreciated the professionalism and friendliness of the workers. Job took one day, as predicted. There was some significant settling of new asphalt and dirt where the excavation had been. Aaron responded in a timely fashion to my complaint, sent out someone to fix the problem. The Aaron called me to follow up on my satisfaction. Bonus points for that! Since then, the installed system has worked just as expected. No more settling. I'd definitely hire Rain Pros again.
Description of Work: Installed drainage pipe. Connected problematic downspout to this pipe. Removed small portion of my driveway and replaced with asphalt to run pipe to side of house and out to back yard. Dry well and disperser at end of the pipe. Installed two catch basins in driveway to collect surface water and run it into the pipe.

I had originally contacted Rainpros about having my anti-siphon valve replaced as the original old one for my sprinkler system had burst. I was told that I would need to have a more extensive update done to my currently sprinkler system which wasn't what I wanted or needed. Thankfully when the crew came out, I was able to have them do just the work that I wanted versus what I was told was 'needed according to current code'. I'm still not sure if this was an attempt at upselling as I couldn't verify if I needed to upgrade my sprinkler systems since I haven't been contacted by the city in this regards. The team that worked on my sprinkler system was pretty professional, granted I had all the materials specific to my job on hand, otherwise my rating for this entire project would probably have been lower as they didn't have an anti-siphon valve on hand in their truck. So, all in all, A for the team that came out, they were punctual and professional, the original contact.. I'd probably give a passing B/B- as it felt a bit like a potential upcharge in service.

As usual with Rain Pros, all was wonderful. Two gentlemen---I wish I could recall their names----came exactly at the time they said they would. They quickly got to work and ran the entire system to make sure it all worked. They adjusted three heads to change what they watered and repaired a broken head. I got charged for the repair and should not have been since our system was under warranty (it is under a year old). I had forgotten it should have been free and one of the men apologized and said he would make it good when they did the fall shut down. It was as much my fault as theirs for charging me and I appreciate their honesty---plus it was only about $15! Rain Pros has been great to work for and our sprinkler system, lawn, and the landscaping they did last fall look great this spring.

They arrived on schedule and did the work in a timely and professional manner. (we had had another estimate from someone we used to use at our prior home and his price was far higher and he was only going to fix the front system not completely re do it.) We use Rain Pros to winterize our system also. They really do a nice job and when they were done they cleaned up very nicely. I'f recommend these guys to anybody. Great crew.

In late October or early November, Rain Pros dug up our yard and installed a sprinkler system. We also had them create a small French drain system to carry water away from the house, unrelated to the sprinkler. Much of the time, the workers were digging and installing in the pouring rain, so I really felt for them. It took a couple of days, and they had to return a few days later with different sprinkler heads. I was shown how to operate the system easily from the control panel or my iphone, which is really cool technology. In reality, the system is so good that I don't really need to use my iphone, as each zone is set up to start at a specific time, for a specific length of time. Also, it adjusts itself based on local rain activity, as it is connected to the internet via wifi. Two weeks later, they showed up and cleared the pipes for winter. Last Friday, they turned on the system, and checked that the sprinkler heads were working correctly, and not spraying off into space. The cost of these two visits were included in the price of the system. Aaron was the estimator/sales rep who visited me initially. With an assistant, he measured the areas to be covered, and discussed with me the type of plantings that would go in each area (you don't want fire-hose strength on your petunias). Although I got a similar estimate from another company that seemed fine, Aaron's more elegant solution to the placement of the control box, plus the suggestion of the wifi controls sold me on Rain Pros. I'm not a technology geek, but this system is easy, only a bit more money, and it works! I waited for years to get a system, because I thought that the pavers on my driveway would have to be removed. Not true! These guys have the answers. I will not miss dragging that hose around this summer.

Rain Pros were fantastic. We have a large yard, on a steep hill, with many concrete retaining walls and plantar boxes. Rain Pros were very professional, they final cost came in very close to the bid. The team worked extremely hard and for long days despite the pouring rain that would not stop when they were digging trenches and laying pipe. They cleaned up the yard and were very careful with the existing landscaping. I would highly recommend them/

Rain Pros was a great company to work with from the initial phone call to the completion. Aaron, the owner, came out twice to talk about the project and offer suggestions before he gave us an estimate. When the quote came we were impressed because it was better than we thought and we were able to increase the scope of the project. The crew, led by Lucio arrived every day and were the hardest workers we have ever had at our house. Even when their equipment broke down, Lucio, Jose, and Conrad just picked up shovels and dug the trenches all by hand and shoveled all the dirt into wheelbarrows etc. Aaron stopped by most mornings to check in with us to make sure we were happy with the progress and answer any questions and Lucio involved us in the placement of all the plants and rocks---nothing was planted or spread until I approved it. The project was completed in a week except for the hydro seeding which happened the following week. They have been responsive with questions about a few sprinkler heads since the completion. Our yard is beautiful and we can hardly wait to do a second phase with Rain Pros.
Description of Work: Rain Pros installed a 12 zone sprinkler system, spread 30 yards of dirt, created two new large flower beds with plants and large rocks, spread 15 yards of bark, spread drain rock on the edge of the driveway to create an edge for water run off, placed collars and lids on our septic tank, and prepped the lawn for hydro seeding. Oli also came back one evening to teach us to use the sprinkler system when both my husband and I were home.

Aaron, Brett, and Joel and his crew were absolutely wonderful to work with! We are very pleased with the results, especially the beautiful rain garden (special thanks to Joel for his thoughtful placement of the large rocks). We really appreciated Aaron and Brett's availability and responsiveness throughout the design and implementation of the project.
Description of Work: Installed a downspout system on our property to manage water from five downspouts. A combination of a four cubic yard rain garden for about half of the water, along with a reverse French drain for the rest, was the solution we came up with working with Aaron and Brett.
