hardwood floor
+ -1 moreMoses, owner, and another employee showed up on time and very professional. We had a disagreement on sq footage that we measured versus them on the estimate by 50sq ft (which translated to a little over $100) however, Moses was great and re-measured with my husband. The job itself took only two days, the first to strip the next to put on two coats of finish. We had to pay half up front which was kind of annoying for such a small job money and time wise. The new floors are gorgeous! There are some areas the stain is darker then others but that is from the floor's age and pre refinishing condition. You can see the line where the newly refinished meets the hallway, which was refinished 7 years ago, however both Kirsten and Moses said this would happen. It is very faint and once doors and furniture are in don't think it'll be as obvious.
Description of Work: We pulled up the wall to wall carpet in three small bedrooms and found the hardwood underneath was in bad shape. Called Phoenix Hardwood Floors to come out and talk over what to do. Kirsten, Moses' wife, said the floors were in good shape and didn't need to be ripped out but they could strip the current finish, fill in the deep gouges then refinish. We chose the Swedish finish as that is what we have in the rest of the house. The total sq footage was 315.
