The technician arrived promptly, measured the window and this was ordered. About a week after this, the window was delivered and fitted. The ONLY glitch was that it had been cut too short, not according to the measurements supplied, but an inch out. This was reordered and within five days the correct sized glass was installed, quickly and with no mess. I think King County Window's price and service are unbeatable. I had several quotes for this work, and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and affordability of this company's product. The owner Dennis kept me fully informed of the schedule and kept to this exactly. A pleasure to do business with these chaps and will happily recommend them. A+ work , service, and price.

Called on a Sunday, had a return call early Monday morning and a follow up email. Dennis came out to the house, gave a reasonable estimate, and had the glass installed in 4 days! Do not hesitate to call King County Window and Glass...you will be very satisfied.

King County responded promptly to my request for an estimate. Their estimate was fair and reasonable and I accepted. They worked with me to find a good date and time to install and their installer was right on time. The install went without a problem. The installer was very careful not to make a mess or leave a mess and he was exceptionally nice. Plus he gave me good information on glass cleaners and what to avoid when cleaning double paned 'unit' glass to avoid a seal failure. I am very happy with King County Glass. Should the need arise, I will definitely call them again. And I would not hesitate to recommend them.

The broken window was the result of a burglary, and the gentlemen were very professional and prompt. They arrived on time and gave us a very good price. The work was also performed promptly. I would definitely use them again.

Our house was burglarized on a Sunday night - the burglars entered through the sliding glass door that they threw a rock through. Naturally, on Monday morning I was very motivated to get the glass replaced as soon as possible. I called King County Window & Glass and they came out to the house within a half hour of my call, measured and got me an estimate later that day. We agreed on the price and set a tentative install date for the following Friday (glass had to be ordered). I noted that I'd be working from home that day so that I could be here when the installer arrived. On Thursday, I was called to confirm that we were all set for install on Friday. I was told that they would be here between 9 AM and 11 AM. I was shocked when they arrived at 8:45 AM! The installer (Jason) was very friendly and even helped remove the plywood that we'd put up over the window - when I say he "helped", I mean he basically did it all. New glass was installed and the area was all cleaned up within an hour. He did a great job and was very professional. Would definitely do business with this company again.

Dennis Ewton came out a few days after we called and measure all the glass and gave us an estimate for all of the windows. The breakdown was done by window size so that we could easily figure out how it would be adjusted if we chose not to replace every window. When we decided on what we wanted, Dennis and an assistant came back and re-measured every window EXACTLY - removing the outside molding to get precise measurements of the glass. During their measuring, we decided to go with the low-E glass on the south side windows and Dennis gave us a ballpark figure of the difference. There was a wait for the revised estimate, but the new price was about as expected. A payment of 50% was made up front for the glass, and the balance was due after installation. It took about 10 days or so for the glass to be made and they came and replaced what they had in one day. They did not have the arched glass and had to take the arched windows down and make a template for the glass company. There was also one window that they forgot to order (a miscommunication because we went with the low-E glass and needed to replace an extra window). A few days later they came back with the remaining windows and it was a done deal. The glass "looks" great and the years of having to look through ugly foggy windows is a distant memory. Why did we wait so long??? We asked Dennis for a written warranty on the glass and a few week later he mailed that to us - a ten year warranty on the seal. My only downgrade was for the communication. There was a lot of telephone tag, and there was not much advance warning on the scheduling. It looks extreme to grade a C, but it was just a bit worse than a B. It took a while - more than a week - to hear back with the final estimate and then I mailed a check and it took a while to hear a date for installation. Still, the issue was just an annoyance, not anything that caused me concern about the business. The company excelled in all area but this one. I highly recommend this company, if you are looking at replacing fogged windows!! The time spent in getting the measurements correct and the worksmanship was great.

An attempted break-in left me with a shattered window next to my front door. I found King County Glass on Angie's list and called on a Saturday to get a bid for the repair. Dennis called me back promptly and scheduled a time the next day to provide the bid. He arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional. The bid was much better than I expected, so I placed the order for the replacement glass and set up a tentative date to install it - approximately one week out. Three days later, I receive a call from Dennis and the glass is in and they can install the next day! That was great news - so I scheduled to be home for them to do the work. The installer (sorry I forgot his name) was on time and completed the work quickly. He cleaned up the area of any remaining broken glass as well. He was friendly and professional just like Denis and I would not hesitate to call them should I have any additional window related issues.

I set a day for the installation, and the installer arrived on time, was courteous, efficient, and the price was right. I was extremely impressed with King County Window and Glass - from that first phone call, to the installation of my beautiful new window! I would HIGHLY recommend them, and they will get my business if I ever need another window replaced.

Responded to my initial phone call within the hour. Discussed the broken window and the options for replacing the glass, made helpful recommendations, gave me an estimate to install laminated glass. Sent an installer out the next day, a Saturday. Installer arrived on time, explained what he was going to do, and worked several hours, probably more than expected, removing 50-year-old putty and replacing the broken pane. Charged me only the estimated amount. Worksite was completely clean when he left. Both people were professional, helpful, courteous, and efficient, making this unexpected-home-repair experience completely painless.

We needed to have a broken window replaced on the weekend. King County Window & Glass was the only company that had weekend hours. Dennis responded quickly and replaced the broken window with some temporary glass and had the permanent replacement installed within a week. Dennis and his worker were excellent. They took great care to protect our house when removing the broken glass and installing the new glass. Whenever we need glass replaced or new windows, Dennis will be our 1st choice.

I had 13 double pane window glass units that were fogged and the glue inside was melted. Dennis and his team helped us to replace them. The bid was good and the job was done professionally. I highly recommend King County Window & Glass. I have another project to replace aluminium windows with vinly and I will definitely ask Dennis to give me a bid.

I called Monday night after hours and left a message. Dennis called me back first thing Tuesday morning and was able to come out right away to take measurements. I knew this was a specialty piece of glass and would likely need to be ordered which would take a few days at least. Somehow they located the piece I needed that day and were back to install it on Wednesday morning. The install went well and I am very satisfied. Dennis was very courteous and professional, will definitely use them again.

It went well. Dennis came out, gave us an estimate and we decided to not even pursue a 2nd & 3rd estimate. He was honest, clean and was able to come that following week to install the window glass. He and his crew were polite and did the work in a reasonable amt of time.

Experience with King was positive from start to finish: Their quote was the best of three I received. Dennis answered my questions and came out to measure much quicker than other firms had suggested they could. Just a few days later the glass arrived and they were here to install. Dennis accompanied two others who did the actual installation. They arrived promptly, introduced themselves, and got right to work. Since our house is old (1916), nothing is ever easy. True to form, one porch window had to be modified/cut to allow for porch settlement. Rotten molding had to be replaced around the other, so they went to hardware store and took care of that problem also. Everything was done professionally, without causing me undue concern, and, best of all, with no increase in cost to me! I'm sure the job took longer than they expected, but their quoted price did not change at all. They cleaned not only the work areas, but also the windows before they left, and worked hard the whole time. Dennis checked to be sure everything was to my satisfaction before they left. I have had numerous workmen at my old house since we moved here two years ago and relied on Angie's List for many of the referrals. I have to rank King County Window & Glass right at the top of the list. I'd definitely use them again, and recommend them to a friend.
