Description of Work: They came out to fix a broken vent sash and saw that the previous carpenter had left behind a problem. They fixed the sash and the problem and also saw that several of my windows had condensation from broke a seals. They located the information I needed to tell the window manufacturer the problem and so I called Milgard who is currently sending out service people to fix the Windows. King County saved me a lot of money in repair costs. What a great company!

 + -1 moreDennis is very friendly, prompt, got right to business. Each time he came to my home he removed his shoes at the front door which was very appreciated as I had just put in new carpeting. He also was great with my huge cats. And to top it off, I'm very pleased with the clean, lovely new window. I am a satisfied customer! I highly recommend this company!
Description of Work: Dennis, at KCW&G was professional from start to finish. The first call to him brought him over within that hour to assess the window need. Later that day he called me with an estimate and kept me informed each step of the way from ordering the glass to coordinating our schedules for installment.

 + -1 moreTerrific! Very pleased with Dennis Ewton and King County Window and Glass. His responsiveness on the phone impressed me greatly. He helped make what I thought might be a challenging task easy. He listened to my description of the project and suggested a differnt thickness - as it turned out - appropriately. He quoted me a price that was much less than any of the other bids we had got. These were non-standard sized mirrors of differnt sizes and naturally I was a little concerned that they would fit well. Well, once delivered and installed not only did they fit well, they fit perfectly. Loved the fact that Dennis communicated almost entirely via text. Made my project easier to manage. I would highly recommend him for any glass work you may have.

 + -1 moreWe called and Dennis made an appointment to come out the next day. He arrived on time and gave us an price that we loved! He said he could do the work quickly, we needed it done before it got cold outside. He had to put off the work once, waiting on parts. The schedule became a little confused after that and we had to call him, he did'nt call us. When one of his workers came to replace & repair the job was done quickly and very well. He requires half down which I was worried about. All and all it was a good job done at a fair price in a timely manner. I will use them again. (baseball playing grandkids)

 + -1 moreI had two sections of a multi-light glass door (grid) break. I could not see any way that I could repair them and feared I would have to buy a new door. This company provided a significantly lower estimate than the other one I called and asked if they could do the work a day early (which I was happy with). They came to the site, estimated and then ordered, returning days later to install. While the windows are just the slightest bit different, it takes a trained eye to notice - and I believe that is simply not something that could have been better. So - affordable, pleasant, prompt and professional. I am pleased and will call them first next time I need windows or replacement services.

 + -1 moreNo services performed except one visit when we weren't home, and at a time when we told him we would not be home. Never met him. No phone calls to us.
Description of Work: We had a break-in and a small window was broken. We covered the hole with cardboard. Not an emergency situation but it was a lot colder downstairs in winter. Called Denis after reveiewing Angie's list. Phoned and checked our location was ok with him and discussed when he would come to do an estimate. Came at another time when we weren't home. Fortunately our cleaner happened to be here and dealt with him. I called him for details and prices when I came home. Said he was waiting to see if he could match the (old reeded) glass and would call me back. Two days later I called him. Still no prices. Tried to explain what the different glass and window would look like verbally. No good. Can he send me a link to an appropriate website with pictures and/or explanations? Without saying it, it seemed apparent that this was a problem for him. He seemed to just want to do it without my input. He said it would take another few days to get a price or whatever. Upon further reflection I realized he had never phoned me; didn't show when he said he would; still hadn't given me a price and in general I was not optimistic that this job would be done in any reasonable time nor in accordance with my preferences.

 + 0 moreFirst I did an Angie's list search for people who repaired broken double pane windows. Contacted Dennis and one other based on Angies List info. I gave the window specs to Dennis with by phone. He gave me a quote subject to the accuracy of my specs which I accepted. He visted the house to confirm the specs and installed the window within a few days. He did a good job promptly at a very fair price. I will hire him again.

 + -1 moreWe have used Dennis in the past to replace some windows. We called them again when we needed a mirror installed in our spare bathroom. They came out within a week. I explained what I wanted the mirror to look like and they were more than willing to help us get the look I wanted. They gave us a quote and then they came back a week later and installed the mirror. It looks great! Very nice guys and very willing to help you. We will continue to use them for future projects.

 + -1 moreSmall delay on the final install due to an error on the part of the manufacturer, no fault of Dennis and Cory. They worked to quickly correct the issue and kept me informed regularly of when to expect the job to be done. They accommodated my work schedule and came one evening to install the frame and two panels and back another evening when the shower door was ready (the problem piece). Very professional and easy to work with. NICE Guys, and the new shower doors look fabulous!
Description of Work: After having Dennis/Cory come and replace two windows a month or so ago, and the great work/service they provided, I decided to get new shower doors with textured "rain" glass for the master (corner shower/3 panels) and oil rubbed bronze frame. Again, nice to deal with and kept me posted on timelines and when Cory and his helper came to do the install they were great to deal with as well.

 + -1 moreExcellent! Dennis gave me an estimate by phone after I called and provided the approx. measurements. He was very nice to deal with.
Description of Work: I needed two windows replaced that 'failed' (seals). Dennis and Cory were FABULOUS - very nice and professional! Dennis came and measured from the outside as I was not home when he stopped by - 2 weeks later he came with Cory to do the install. One window was an arched window above the front door - the other was part (one side) of one of the windows in the bedroom. The price was very good to do this job. I am having them now estimate replacement glass on the shower doors. The windows in the house are 17 years old, with the inside 'grids'. The new windows match PERFECTLY! I am very happy with the work they did. Call them - I don't think you will be disappointed!
