He was easy to talk to on the phone. He was very helpful. He had a much better response time than any of the other companies I contacted.

After unsuccessfully trying to work with another contractor, contacted JK Construction on recommendation of my cousin. He came to my home on Mon., 4/28, to look at the bathrooms and talk about the desired work. Emailed proposal on Wed. May 7. I said it looked fine, when could he start? He and his assistant started the work on Tues., 5/13, with intention of finishing by the weekend. Did not want to return until I had the vinyl flooring on site, which I did, ready for them on Thurs., 5/15. But the bathroom door that I had ordered the previous week over the phone (per Mr. Monson's directions) from a vendor in Federal Way had not arrived in FW. It only had to come from the Holcum plant in South Center. Mr. Monson said he didn't want to come all the way to Newcastle just to finish up the half-bath and then come back another time for the master bath. So he said they'd come on Monday. They didn't come on Monday. Came on Tuesday, and supposed to finish everything on Wed., 5/21. -- But, when I got home from work on Wed., there was no toilet in the half-bath. It was a perfectly fine Toto toilet. When I called Mr. Monson he told me that it had fallen over and cracked when they had set it out to replace the flooring. He was already looking for an exact replacement. Note, too, that the mirror for the half-bath had to be cut down a bit - it was damaged enroute, so they replaced the mirror as well. - We agreed that installing the new toilet on Fri. 5/23 would be fine - which they did.
