Good at matching existing textures. Workmanship is good. Shows up on time and finishes as scheduled.

Had an emergency repair needed before I closed on my home. I was very impressed on how quickly I was able to reach out to Herrera’s Drywall. The initial appointment was later than I needed and they expedited the process and made an appointment much earlier! I really appreciate the level of urgency and care towards my repair needs, would highly recommend!!!

I wish I had paid better attention to the poor reviews before hiring Hector. Pros: On time, responds quickly, works fast, good price. Cons: Very sloppy work. Hector's crew did not ensure that the drywall was flush with door frames or window frames, making it impossible for door and window casings/molding to be installed. In some places the installation is so poor that one side of a door is flush with the drywall while the other is recessed about an inch. (I wish I could attach pictures). We had to hire another company to repair the drywall that was not flush with the door/window frames, costing thousands, before we could install any casing/molding. Furthermore, Hector was very combative. When we asked him to correct the above mentioned error, he told us that it wasn't an issue and that we didn't know what we were taking about. Additionally, Hector was unable to get along with the other contractors we had working in the house. We constantly had to mediate between Hector and other professionals and finally had to reschedule our other contractors so that no one else was working on the house while Hector was present. Nor did he respect the time line we gave him. He wanted to finish the job quickly. When we told him we would not be ready on the date he wanted to start work, he showed up anyway with a large work crew and made it our fault the things were not ready for him. Finally, once the work was finished, Hector demanded to be paid while the texture was still wet and we were unable fully walk through the house (because the floors were not taped off and were completely covered in spray texture - which we had to clean) or properly examine the finished work. Overall, we had a terrible experience and would not recommend Herrara's Drywall.

I recommend Hector without hesitation. We hired him on our new construction job for our family home and found Hector on Home Advisor. He was very responsive (he was on site to give a bid within 12 hrs of us calling him) and provided excellent references. He and his crew were friendly, worked long, hard hours to get the job done. Price was 20-30% lower than other bids we received. Quality was top notch - which is essential on drywall considering we asked for a smooth finish throughout the house. His work has received several compliments from other sub contractors that have come in after. He even went the extra mile to work in the time to drywall the basement (which wasn't part of our original plans). We are so grateful to have him work on our home.

Wow. We were looking for someone to install and patch drywall in our master remodel. We thought the price of the people our contractor recommended was too high plus we had buy the drywall and get it here. We found Hector on his Home Advisor website and were really impressed with his reviews. He wasn't matched with us but we wanted to have him come give us a quote. Hector came right out, gave us a bid on site and started earlier than projected. He provided the drywall and completed the job very quickly with exceptional work. He followed through on all promises. After the job was complete we found a couple areas we wanted touched up. He came out right away and did the work. Hector even touched up some areas that we weren't concerned with because he didn't like it. In this market most companies are charging inflated rates and banging out the job with little care for their customers need. Hector is rare. He can bang out the job but doesn't forget to take care of the customer. I wish every subcontractor we used on this project had this perfect blend of price, quality and customer service. I will recommend Hector to anyone needing drywall and he will be my first call on our next project. Cannot say enough about how happy I am with Herrera's Drywall. Top notch company.

Hector and his crew installed a 2,400 ft/2 ceiling for me a few weeks back and did a fantastic job. They got it done faster than I expected and it took some skill because the drywall had to butt directly into exposed wooden beams. Finish looks great I'd definitely recommend.

Herrera Drywall did a great job finishing drywall in several rooms and an addition, including the entire house ceiling after popcorn texture was removed. They accomplished an incredible amount of work in a short time, exactly as promised. Always arrived on time, very responsive communication, quality work.

He and his co-worker were friendly and courteous, worked very quickly, and diligently protected my home and belongings. They cleaned up and hauled away all trash and materials. The whole experience with Herrera Drywall has been excellent. Hector was in contact with us before the work was to begin, making a commitment for the beginning date, the time to complete and the cost, and they were all exactly as he said. His crew and he worked on our whole house, they worked from early mornings to late evenings, completing the job within the planned time. This was important to us, as the time is of essence for our move back to the house. They did an extraordinary job on all walls, with all the high ceilings, all the bends and corners. And they were super pleasant to have around. We really could not have imagined a better crew with nicer and more hard-working people who do a great job. I found Hector online and saw how many great reviews he had so I gave him a call. He came out right away and had a bid for me a couple hours later. I had done a lot of electrical work and needed a bunch of holes patched in the ceiling and walls and around switches. They were very flexible on my schedule, and he came out on a Saturday morning so I didn't have to take time off work. they were able to do everything in a couple hours and even offered to do a few little holes I had planned to do myself. They took care to mask off and protect my house, did the drywall, mud, and texture and cleaned up and were gone. I would have taken days to do all that and it never would have looked half as good. I would highly recommend these guys (and already have).
