Santiago came out and looked at our yard and gave us an estimate, which was reasonable. He has shown up promptly and worked efficiently. Our yards look very tidy and we are very happy with the results!

Santiago first came with another worker to clean up our medium sized yard after we had so many stickers and yellow brushes torn down with industrial machines. we needed the roots pulled out from a large bush and the two of them did it so fast like it was nothing! Since then Santiago has come every week during the growing season and every other week non-growing season. he has always been on time and has done little extra things for us like clearing the under porch area and shaping our apple tree. we have spoken about doing other projects as well and I can not recommend his services enough. Just a great guy with a green thumb that knows his stuff!

I have reliably been using VM Garden for over a year now. Santiago is reliable, and does a great job. I can rely on him to take care of the yard and give any recommendations that are needed in areas of the lawn that I don’t normally lay eyes on all the time. Unlike many gardeners I’ve dealt with in the past, he is very organized, and sends a monthly written invoice so you know what was done, and what you are paying for. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting good reliable service from an honest businessman.

Santiago and his team did a great job! They spent over 9 hours on our large property, trimming hedges, pruning trees, cleaning up garden beds, and spreading bark. The difference in our yard was amazing. Santiago clearly knew his stuff, was professional and a pleasure to work with. I'm telling everyone I know what exceptional service he provided.

The owner was very responsive in giving me a bid for the work and a date the work could be done. The yard looks wonderful, very professional. We are going to use their services for yard maintenance as well.

This provider is wonderful. He's so good that I hired him to maintain the yard for a rental I own as well as doing my home. My yard looks terrific. He is very responsible and his prices are very reasonable.

Our yard was a giant mess. We live next to a greenbelt, and constantly have blackberries, morning glory, and other things encroaching on the yard, and the side, it looked like a jungle. We wanted to try and get them back this year, so we hired VM Garden. He came by and gave us an estimate, that also included laying down some blackberry and weed killer. He managed to finish everything in 2 days. He was very hard at work the first day, we didn't even realize he was by himself until he was almost done the first day. Both the yards look amazing! The backyard especially looks fantastic, would definitely hire him again.

everything went very well. weeds removed,trees and bushes trimmed, deep lawn edging and new bark spread, also set up twice monthly mowing for the year which he has also done excellent job on! I am very pleased with his service and think you will be too!

Santiago Mendez, VM Garden, is a very knowledgeable, hard worker who was reasonable in negotiating the price, puntual in arriving to the site, and did a fantastic job in mowing, weeding, edging and laying mulch in the garden beds. I was very impressed with how promptly Santiago from VM Garden responded to my Angie's List inquiry. He answered several questions very quickly, and he came out the next day to give us estimates for a few projects: Spring cleanup, bi-monthly lawn & garden service, bark installation for our flowerbeds. The estimates were reasonable, and the work was truly exceptional. Santiago has returned for the first of our bi-monthly services and the yard continues to sparkle under his care. My husband said it best, "You're not a lawn mower, you're a gardener." (And that's exactly what we needed.) Santiago REALLY knows his stuff and he really cares about doing a good job. We're looking forward to working with him for years to come. After my son saw the work that was done at our house, he asked for a referral, and his yard has never looked better now that VM Garden is caring for it! All of us highly recommend VM Garden!

Santingo was great! Came over same day as contacting him for an estimate. He edged and mowed. Trimmed trees without being asked. When he was finished he cleaned my back patio which was not part of the maintenance. He now will be coming back for monthly service.

Santiago, of VM Garden, was extremely reasonable, professional, punctual and has an eye for doing excellent yard work! I was very pleased by the service he provided this day and not only did he just work yesterday, but he’ll be coming by today to finish a little bit more work! He’s very hardworking, as he did this work alone. I glad a made the right decision in calling Santiago and I’m sure I’ll be calling on him to provide service several more times! Santiago is truly an artisan. In addition to the cleanup and lawn work, he cleaned out the flower beds (probably an inch deep coat of fir needles), trimmed and shaped trees and bushes that needed it, and thoroughly cleaned all decks, driveways and concrete walkways, and an asphalt half-court basketball area. He is an extremely hard worker, and he left our place looking better than it has in years. We have now hired him to do our continuing lawn and yard maintenance on a regular basis.

Santiago came the next day and gave us a great bid. He came the following day to start on the work, then he came the following day to finish it up. And the yard looks AMAZING!! My roommates and I loved working with Santiago. He was punctual, professional, and at a great price.

Santiago is outstanding, works very hard, is honest with a fair and reasonable price. He communicates well and is flexible. His outstanding fast work earned him a $40 tip (and I never Tip contractors).

The services performed far exceeded my expectations. Santiago was quick to respond and was out in just 2 days to give me a quote. Once we scheduled a time for him to do the work, he was right on time and did far more than I expected. He planned on 2 days and we walked around after the first day and I mentioned a couple of things I was planning on doing. He went ahead it did it for me. Had I known what he was going to do and quoted me twice what he did, I would have paid it. If I were not moving, I would go ahead and schedule him for repeat service. I highly recommend VM Garden.
