Only took a couple of hors-- did a great job!! Cleaned out my dryer vent too! Price was very good!

BUY BEWARE ? GROUPON COUPON FROM DUCT CLEANING SERVICES FOR A FULL HOUSE AIR DUCT CLEANING. This Duct Cleaning Services coupon is misleading. Says full-house air duct cleaning. This is not the case. There is no mention of return air exclusions in the description. The only ducts they vacuumed were the supply ducts. One would be lead to believe that full house duct cleaning would include both return and supply ducts. With that said they did try sell additional services for cleaning furnace components and return air duct. I should have checked Angies List prior to purchase and the service. I would have seen that another customer had a similar problem with this company and I would not have purchased the coupon or used this company.

I purchased a $69 deal ($180 value) on Living Social for "Dryer Vent & Air Duct Cleaning Services for Unlimited Vents". The voucher says call 888-859-3828 to schedule appt. This is same number for company's main office in San Leandro CA. The number is also listed on their website www.aductcleaning.com and a Facebook page. I suspect they "broker" services in other locations, hiring locals to try to sell more work. The technician does nothing more than remove the registers from air vents and use a shop-vac to vacuum up debris & dust within arm's reach. He then takes a photo inside the duct and explains why deep cleaning is needed at $35/vent. Same with dryer - he cleans out a few feet of dryer vent from outside house (didn't clean vent behind dryer) and tries to up-sell additional service. My real concern is the technician goes into every room of the house, uses front & back doors & can see if you have an alarm. Perfect case job! Ducts run from the furnace to vents - this is rip-off!
