Because I also had interruptions in service for months... she sent me to Federal way to pick up a new box and a new remote. The person there talked to us about the Xfinity home security and we listened and told him that we were not interested at that time but he should write down his name because he said he works on commission and we promised to come back if we decided to use that service. When I get home I have a confirmation email that we ordered Xfinity home security. I COULD NOT BELIEVE it. there are over $200 in charges and a kit on the way... now I have to deal with that!!! We JUST got our bill straightened out and SAURABH KUMAR in the Federal Way store decided to order the service after we clearly said no thank you!!! This is outrageous. ... DON'T GO TO Federal Way.
Description of Work: Do not let me commence on my experience with Xfinity. It has been the worst. They lied over and over about the bundle package pricing. I was very careful and very polite and repeated the back the pricing all three times they worked the order and made correctios and asked the to confirm what it included. IT was NEVER honored... FINALLY I took the whole day off and did nothing but Xfinity. I got a wonderful rep who read the through the notes and pulled the recordings and was amazing... I don't know howshe did it but she turned me around.

I have had outages on and off for months. I lost Internet in the middle of rpesenting a webinar! Very professional I looked. How many clients did I lose? And the customer service response? Oh, well, 20 minutes isn't so bad. At least every week? For $91/month?? I am finding another provider, no matter what I have to do. Totally trash.

They weren't able to get me onto their site. I'm very frustrated with their services. I actually spoke with a woman who was very rude. She told me, "we aren't 100% perfect". They also said they could send a technician out, but I would have to pay for it.

I really like it because if our alarm is triggered, we can set it up so that it emails us and it also texts us. We also get a phone call when the alarm is triggered, too. That's been really nice. The internet service is fast. We have a good channel package with them. We have On Demand. The only other service provider I know people have around here is Dish Network. They have problems getting their local channels. We have no problems getting any local channels with Xfinity. We get all of our local sports. In my area, a lot of the cables are underground, so we don't have to worry about the weather interfering with it. We usually have uninterrupted services. They provide alarm sensors for each doorway and motion sensors in the rooms we selected. We took our two main rooms entry could be possible and did motion sensors for those rooms. There's two stationary keypads. One is beside our front door and one in our kitchen. They have an excellent way that you can set it so that if you're going to be at home, you set it to stay and all of your outside doors are armed. You can walk around in your house freely and the doors are armed. I can choose to have everything else armed but say my back door. So I can release my back door, keep it open, and be in the back yard but the rest of my house is armed. We have a remote that we can set as we walk out the door. You have the option to disarm certain sensors when you leave. It also has a program that we can set up so if somebody is going to be housesitting for us, we don't have to give them our code. We set up a temporary code for that person. They enter that code and it turns it off and on. When we get home, we simply delete that code. It's been nice.
Description of Work: We have our internet, cable tv, home phone, and home security all through Xfinity/Comcast. They started doing the alarm systems in the Seattle area just over a year ago. It's about $250 a month for everything.

Things are okay with Comcast. We have a couple of continuing problems that they can't seem to be able to resolve. We have one particular problem with the whole home DVR service they have been out five times to fix. But they haven't been able to fix. Comcast at least credits our account for it.

They were too expensive. You can get by with a less speed for a lot less money. Comcast is not a bad company. I did not have a problem with them other than they were too expensive and charged outrageous fees for service calls and every little thing. Other than money, my experience with them has been pretty good.

They are the only cable providers in the area. There are other options like satellite TV but they are the only cable providers. Three months ago we changed one of the BBR boxes.
