It was most challenging to make contact with Ken Kemp. We played phone tag for a while, it took a few weeks to get an appointment with him to come out and look at the job. However, he did finally get here and gave us a very reasonable bid for our roof replacement. Then it took a number of other weeks before Ken would commit to a date to begin the job. Finally he agreed to complete it before Christmas. I don't recommend doing roof work in December, but in a window of just a few days without rain, Ken's crew managed to remove the old roof and complete the new roof, with gutters and downspouts added. The final price was just a bit under his estimate. We are pleased with the job, and the price, and have had no trouble with the roof in the two years since the work was complete. Again, the most difficult part was getting an appointment and then getting a commitment on a start/complete date.

When it came time to replace our old roof, we called three roofing companies to come out and give us estimates. Ken from Build and Design Group was the last roofer to come over. We were very impressed with his suggestions and his estimates were well below the other estimates we received. He also left us with full-sized samples of the roof shingles. That made it much easier to visualize the new roof compared to the brochures the other roofers gave us. When the job began, Ken's crew showed up early in the morning and stayed until sundown. They completed the roof replacement in just a few days. They did a great job cleaning up the job site. My home office window has a good view of part of the roof so I get to look down and see how nice it looks. A couple of weeks later, the crew returned and replaced all of the gutters and downspouts. They arrived after I left for work and had the job done and cleaned up by the time I returned. The gutters look great and are performing well in the rain. The entire job was done within the estimates given. We are very happy with the results and would definitely recommend this company to others.

Ken Kemp is the guy we dealt with and we spent about $3000 for the last service. He gave me a price and he came in under the bid. It looks like they did a very good job. Once he came here to do the job, he did it right on time. He came out and did the job within a couple of weeks, but it was very hard to get him to commit to the date. It took a couple of months for that. That was my only complaint. He was just a little tardy on making it happen. He was easy to deal with. The price was very good. He gave me some good advice on the structure, but it just took a really long time to get it scheduled. They cleaned up very well. The price was very reasonable. It's not a large building. I expected the price to be closer to $5000. We haven't had any leaks or anything. He seemed to have done a fine job. I am very happy with the job that was done.
