First tech diagnosed that motor was blown. Did not root cause. 2nd tech came same day and replaced the motor and through some shared troubleshooting figured out and rectified the problem. Very professional. Signed up for a service call-out for next year also.

I sought a bid from All Star because they had one of the top ratings of local heating contractors and they were very close to where I live. The salesman did a very good job of surveying our home to properly size the heat pump, and he did an excellent job of explaining the benefits of a Trane. He wrote up the bid on-site and presented it to us before leaving. I really hoped to go with All Star because they are truly a local business located in the small town of Fall City, WA. However, I chose a different contractor who was also highly rated on Angie's list, who's bid was $2000 lower for a comparable system, and who's labor warranty was 3 years. All Stars labor warranty was 2 years.

Process was smooth and efficient. The technicians accidentally knocked one of the vents loose, then climbed under my house to re-attach! Very efficient and pleasant experience.

My furnace stop working and request the company to find the reason. They find it is because the induction motor. They charged me about $700. After I checked the price of the motor, I find it just costs $300 on Amazon/Ebay. I think they charged a little more. However, I have paid it and just want to say it.

They were able to accommodate a last minute urgent request on a tight schedule. Showed up promptly and serviced it, and provided a detailed statement of work done. Feels good to have the heating system running optimally again.

Serghie reprogrammed the thermostat which now works better than when originally installed. He examined the heat pump to make sure the pressure was correct and that I'd have no problems this winter. He checked and rechecked to see that the thermostat worked properly, clicked on when it should and programmed it to automatically change from daylight to standard time, plus turned off the touchscreen light [now I can save electricity], and wore "booties" to keep my hardwood floors and rugs clean. And the furnace is now heating properly as it clicked on to heat at the correct time. I also signed up for a furnace check for next season which increased the price by $125.00.

Hired them to do an Aeroseal on our older ductwork. Their pricing was great and when they were in the process of doing this they discovered a very large break/leak in a ductwork that they repaired for a very reasonable price.

They called when tec was on his way. He was on time he was very professional, he explained everything he was doing. He had the parts on the truck for my old unit. He then explained that if there was a larger problem next time, it would probably need replaced due to old refrigerant. He also stayed and check my thermostat to make sure it was working.

They were a pleasure to work with. I recommend them.

They are excellent and very professional. They wear covers on their shoes and they usually send the same guy out which I like. You get to know people that way. I would highly recommend them.

I was happy they were able to repair which was a cheaper option. I inquired with a few other local companies who said they couldn't repair, only replace with a new unit. They rebuilt my unit with new components. It's currently working great.

It went fine except we had them come back as we smelled gas. They had to tighten things up! They were responsive to the request.

All Star was out the next afternoon in the window as quoted. Michael did a quick check, and heater fired right up. Stayed for about 15 minutes to be sure the heater would fire up after being turned off. Super nice and knowledgeable. Will definitely use All Star for all future heating needs.

We recently purchased a new home and wanted to get our system looked at to understand if it was operating the way it should. Our house has a furnace and A/C and wasn't able to keep up with the cooling needs of the house, the system was noisy, little air was blowing out of the vents and the zones (we have 3) seemed to be off. I called all star heating and air conditioning twice before setting up the appointment and was quoted a $98 evaluation fee, they were very professional and easy to work with on the phone. During the inspection I was traveling for work so my wife met the technician. He completed the evaluation quickly and said there were no issues then tried to sell us a service, she called me to see if I wanted to pay for a service of the equipment as well so I asked if they had inspected the heat pump. He stated that he was there to inspect the furnace and the heat pump would be an additional $98. As this is contrary to what we were quoted on the phone we pushed back and eventually he agreed to also inspect the heat pump. After quickly inspecting the heat pump again he found no issues and had no explanation for why it couldn't keep up with our cooling needs or other solutions for us other than to pay for a service. The technician was very confrontational with my wife as I could hear him raising his voice to her over the phone. Finally I told her to forget it as it wasn't worth getting yelled at for $98. They again tried to sell us the service, but the technician was unable to tell us what size filter we needed (only a 1" filter was included and we had a 4" which had already been removed) which leads me to believe he didn't do a very thorough analysis of our system if he didn't even notice a missing filter or the size that would be needed. Overall I don't feel that this company is very trustworthy; they were there to upsell us on additional service and not to do a thorough job on what they were hired for.

Had company come in to service before winter. Cleaned and serviced the furnace. Two weeks later furnace started making loud screeching noise. All Star advised it would be almost the same cost to repair than to buy a new furnace. They are very professional and I trust their advice, even though they may have missed the furnace problem in the first place.

Most of the time they are able to respond to small or big problems same day or next day.

I called this morning as our heat had gone out. They arrived within a few hours and fixed the problem. Serghei and his partner were great! They explained everything to me, even showed me how to program our thermostat and went above and beyond.

We interviewed and received bids from three companies. All Star gave a competitive bid for a good product. We felt comfortable working with them and signed them up. They gave us a date and arrived within the time specified. The work was done cleanly and the furnace has been working great since then.

I was aware of this company's commercial work and used Angie's List to research their residential work before recommending them to two friends (I am a commercial engineering HVAC consultant). They were hired for both projects and did great work.

Two people showed up on time, completed the above work, cleaned up after themselves and removed the old equipment. They were very pleasant to work with and very professional. I have used them two times before and will use them again as needed.

We scheduled a four hour window visit to perform maintenance on both the air conditioner and the heating units. Both times I received a call saying that the scheduled person was unavailable. Once it was the day prior to service and once the cancellation happened day of service. I gave up. I got the feeling that maintenance wasn't a desired job this summer.
