This is the second job Stone-Pros has done for us. Our first job was a kitchen counter top, which turned out absolutely amazing. We had a fair amount of granite left after the kitchen was completed, and Glenn offered to keep our material for us until we were ready, which he did. We contacted him about 8 months later, and arranged to have him see the job. It was hard to forget the total professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail he paid in the first job, and this time was no different. He promptly returned our call, asked what would work best in our schedule, and showed up about 5 minutes early for our appointment. We got some good design and layout advice, along with a welcome suggestion to update the mirror to a more contemporary wood-frame style instead of the full wall frameless layout we had. Glenn made the counter top pattern, then our next step was to choose part of the highly mixed color granite slab we wanted the top made from. I visited their shop, and was greeted by their shop foreman, who was friendly, professional, and helped me choose the area that would give the kind of coloring and pattern I liked the best. It's interesting- the guys in the shop all really know their craft, and seem to work like a family of friends. It's pretty obvious they take pride in their work, and work well together. The results in my job were that I had a beautiful vanity top with pattern-matched back-splash pieces cut from the same material as the top, and precisely finished edging and bowl opening. The installation went according to schedule, and it now looks simply fantastic! As you might guess, I would recommend Stone-pros to a friend. I plan to have them do another when our remodeling schedule permits.

We accidentally chipped the edge of our granite countertop and contacted Stone Pros on Angies List for help. Glenn came out to the house to inspect the damage and informed us of the different options for repairing the damage. Then he offered to send his crew out that day to fix the chip. When the men arrived they were professional, courteous and completed the job in 20 minutes. They did an excellent job repairing the chip and totally exceeded our expectations. It should be noted that the countertops were installed by another contractor several years ago but Stone Pros treated our job with a sense of urgency and ownership that you rarely see in contractors today. The professionalism and skill demonstrated by Stone Pros during our job prompts us to give them the highest satisfaction rating available. Thank you Stone Pros for the excellent service and keep up the great work!

As in the previous (much larger project) this one went very smoothly as well. Glenn showed the same professionalism, follow-through, quality and attention to detail even though this was a much smaller job compared to the previous one ($700 vs. $14k). The crew were prompt, said what they would do and did what they said they would do. Glenn used a piece of stone that was left over from my previous project to ensure it matched with the rest of the house. He was nice enough to store it for me at his shop as a courtesy for several months until this bathroom was ready (it was the last item in the remodel).

Glenn was very professional on the phone and in person. Offered to come out free of charge and inspect my counter. While he was here, he looked around the house and gave me a source to fill some travertine tile that had a big hole. He also took the time to tighten a loose faucet on a bathroom counter. Glenn says customer service is his top priority and he displays that in abundance. I would not hesitate to use Stone Pros for future projects. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Description of Work: I thought I needed a hole drilled into my granite counter to accommodate a water filter spigot. Glenn explained there were already too many holes drilled at improper spacing and talked me out of drilling another. In fact, the air gap mechanism was not even hooked up to anything, so I could remove that and use that hole for my water filter.

We called Stone Pros and found out they primarily do new fabrication, but were willing to come and do the needed repairs/maintenance for our granite counters. First of all, the repair of the counter edge over the dishwasher was done by Glenn with great care and, although a fragile piece of work, brought about a perfect end result. He is obviously a pro at what he does and we are thrilled with how it turned out. For the maintenance of the granite they removed the old cracked "grout" and replaced it with silicone which we were told is what is used today because it doesn't crack. They also cleaned and sealed the granite counter tops throughout the home which amounted to three buffets, three bathrooms, as well as the kitchen. The crew just quietly did the work and we noticed the respect they showed to our home as well as to us. They gave attention to detail and we are very happy with the way things turned out. We found Stone Pros to know what they're doing and to be professional in their manner. They were on time, and very reasonable priced. Glenn expressed his sincere desire to please the customer and we can say that we wouldn't hesitate to call them again for our home or to highly recommend them to others.
Description of Work: We needed our granite edge over the dishwasher repaired because temperature changes had caused it to separate from the top slab. We also noticed that the "grout" between the slab and the sink backs-plash in our bathrooms had cracked over time and water was leaking down behind the counter top. We also asked if we needed to do any maintenance of any kind to the granite.

After reviewing providers on Angie's list, I called Stone Pros Tile & Granite and Glenn met me at my house to provide an estimate. He explained that his company is the fabricator of the granite that I select and purchase. I had visited the granite warehouse a week earlier and had selected four designs that I thought would work. Glenn met me at the granite warehouse and we looked over granite available. He guided me in understanding the premium granite and the more modest priced slabs. Glenn and I reviewed the slabs with the warehouse salesperson and discussed price and slabs available. After reviewing my cabinet and floor tile samples I had brought, I purchased two slabs and Glenn insured that there was another slab available incase there were any fabrication issues. Stone Pros picked up the slabs from warehouse and cut the slabs in their workshop. We selected a date to start demolition of my old countertop, his technicians made a pattern for my kitchen and bath countertops. In five days, Stone Pros as promised arrived and installed the granite countertop. I was very pleased with the pattern selection and the technicians were very meticulous in the installation. The seam between the two slabs is essentially invisible. Additionally, the stone cutter lined up the granite pattern on the countertop with the backsplash so that the color design in the granite flowed from the countertop up to the back splash: fabulous attention to detail. Stone Pros arrived as promised on time and finished the job as planned. Good job all around.

We could not be more pleased! We have never dealt with this type of project before, but Glenn Schiff and his team made it easy and even fun. After getting a quote over the phone, I visited the workshop with some countertop accessories I hoped to use. Glenn helped me find a dramatically beautiful granite remnant that brought out the desired colors. As other reviewers have mentioned, he does not sell the stone -- the remnants at the shop are left over from earlier projects, so he charges only for the labor on your project. He also told me where to find an undermount sink at a much lower cost than those I had seen at stores and plumbing suppliers. The template for the countertop was made to incorporate the exact dimensions of the faucet I had bought, not just a standard width. Removal of the old top/sink and installation of the new ones went quickly and smoothly. Glenn supplied the name of a plumber who came the next day to install the faucet and attach the sink. We are thrilled to be rid of the dated, ugly tile and sink that were there before, but even more so to see such a strikingly beautiful setup in the bathroom that is used most. This was a small job, but such a good experience that we are thinking seriously about the kitchen and other bathrooms, for which Glenn supplied an estimate we feel is very reasonable. Glenn and his team members were unfailingly punctual, pleasant and meticulously clean. When we noticed a tiny chip in the backsplash, he and Uriel came the next morning to fill it. He does business on a handshake basis -- we didn't pay a dime until the job was completed. All in all, this was a shining example of what it should be like to have a contractor work on your home.

If you are reading this review you are starting a remodel project with excitement and perhaps a bit of trepidation at the amount of money you will be spending and worry that you may not be pleased with the final product. I initially began my kitchen remodel with another granite contractor located in Granite Falls. This other contractor left me with an unbelievably inferior installation which included granite cut inaccurately leaving a hole in the countertop; unpolished, wavy edges; and damage done to my wood-wrapped windows and almost new $2500 refrigerator. It took me 5 months to obtain a settlement from contractor and their insurance carrier and have them remove the stone so I could move forward with Stone Pros. It is important to provide background on this job so readers understand that there is a vast difference between contractors and that the very best granite contractor in the Northwest is Glenn Schiff. I called Glenn and explained the situation I was in. Glenn arrived at my home the same day I called and we discussed the way forward. He looked at the inferior workmanship of the other company and explained where the errors had been made with the template process. This was important so that I understood the challenges of the job, had appropriate expectations, and was assured that Stone Pros could do the job right . There is little I can say that is different from the scores of other reviewers. Glenn and his crew are phenomenal. Glenn is not only the consummate professional, he is a truly nice and considerate person. He is extremely knowledgeable and immediately took charge of my project . Glenn is personally involved in each job and leaves nothing to chance. I located replacement slabs and placed them on hold. Glenn met with me at the granite warehouse to help me finalize my selection and he examined the material to ensure the slabs were well matched and flat. My kitchen has a double corner casement window with substantial wood trim. Glenn knew this template would be tricky and had his crew mock up the corner piece out of plywood to ensure the fit of the granite under the window cranks and into the corner. I went to his shop to work with Lalo on the actual layout. Lalo is very good at matching the patterns in the granite to minimize seam visibility. We worked together to maximize the flow of the granite and place the color variations on the corners of the island and the desk area. One week later the crew arrived to install the stone. I told Glenn I needed to ensure all openings behind the kitchen base cabinet were sealed and filled with insulation. I didn't expect Glenn to do this work but, without missing a beat, he said he would help me with that and he used foam filler and wall insulation to close off all openings. This was definitely above and beyond what I expected and am very grateful for his help. The workmanship of the template and the mock corner slab created to ensure proper fit of the stone guaranteed a perfect cut. The ogee edge is flawlessly executed and polished. The under-mount sink has a slight beveled edge to minimize the chance for chips and a bevel edge was placed on the outside edge next to the corner windows to provide a better fit. Additionally, the granite was slightly scooped out under the casement crank handles. It's these details that create a truly amazing finish. Working with Glenn has been a pleasure and I can recommend him without reservation for any project. He is very hands on and involved in each stage of the project. It is personally important to him that the workmanship on a project is flawlessly executed and that the customer is thrilled with the result.

Glenn Schiff was the epitome of professional at every step in the process - prompt, personable and friendly, and most of all skilled! We called him one week and he was here the very next week even though this was a small job. He took the time to get all the information on the phone prior to coming out so he knew exactly what the job would involve. He had to stop on his way to our house to buy a new tool that he thought would be required to do the job. He explained everything to us step by step as he did the work. He brought an assistant with him along with a vacuum cleaner and left the bathroom in pristine condition after the job was done. From first phone call to job done was less than a week. He was friendly and wonderful to work with. We would recommend him highly and with absolutely no reservations to anyone.
Description of Work: A square opening in our tiled bathroom wall needed to be made a bit larger so that a new heater would fit in the wall. Involved cutting through the tile wall.

We couldn't be happier with the job! Glenn and his team did an impeccable job! Stone Pros installed beautiful granite countertop on our existing kitchen cabinets and now my previously dated kitchen looks fantabulous. They also did the same for our powder room. Preplanning: ------------------ I found Stone Pros on Angies list and contacted them. I sent some images and got some ballpark estimates on phone. After comparing some other companies, and reading and rereading a lot of Angie's list reviews, I called Glenn to get a solid estimate for all the work. Glenn visited us promptly and gave us an estimate along with a lot of pointers. My husband and I had no idea what the renovation involved and Glenn helped us understand the entire process on the first visit. He told me all the things we needed to do, where we could find stones, sinks, etc. He also gave us a rough idea about other costs like plumbing, gas lines that would be needed. Needless to say, all this helped us immensely in doing a successful renovation. Stone selection: ----------------------- After we got our gas line work done and a cooktop selected, we visited some granite showrooms to get an idea what to expect. Glenn recommended a showroom that was better priced than others. We met Glenn there and were quite happy with the stone selection and display. We got a pricing on various slabs we liked and then decided to go with the one that was the nicest of all. (somewhat of a splurge but was totally worth it) However, that type of granite did not have enough slabs. In order to get the right slabs and the prettiest ones, we viewed more and then more slabs of that type. Glenn waited patiently with us through this entire process. After that Glenn took us sink shopping close by. All this took about 3 hours on a Saturday morning - so thanks Glenn! Actual job: --------------- Glenn, Lola, Ivan and Uriel showed up on Tuesday morning and started the demolition work. They quickly and carefully removed the tiled wooden base countertop. Then we visited their workshop later that evening. We spent a lot of time deciding how to cut the stone so that the most beautiful portions would be visible at the right places in our kitchen. Again, Glenn and his team were really helpful and patient through this whole process. Glenn kept us updated about the work on the slabs with pictures. Meanwhile we bought the faucets. Then on Saturday morning they showed up in the morning with all the beautiful (and heavy) pieces of granite. The crew worked from morning to late in the evening to install the slabs correctly. They handled the pieces with great care. They installed the granite countertops, the 4/5 inch backsplash and a beautiful large granite backsplash behind the cooktop. And to top it all, they gave us a wonderful surprise - a 15 inch round granite cutting board. (Well I'm going to use it as a lazy susan since it's way too awesome to be a cutting board) Anyway, hopefully all the above will give you an idea why we chose Stone Pros. If not, here's some more info: Why we went with Stone Pros: ------------------------------------------ At first estimates by other companies and what we had heard about places like Costco and Home Depot seemed like a cheaper option. But no one was really telling us that those companies did a great job. I didn't get a feeling that those contractors would be responsive to our needs. And I didn't really like the stones they offered with their most cost effective deals anyway. I really wanted good quality work and an awesome looking stone. Glenn made all this possible. His team worked h****** our (not so easy to work with) stone and got everything right. We were able to customize things and be involved in the entire process. Thanks Stone Pros!

We've been working on an extensive, whole-house renovation for the past 9 months. By the time it was time to select a countertop installer I knew to find someone to do the job right, the first time, and problem-solve his way around unforeseen obstacles, rather than point fingers and charge extra for mistakes. (Learned that one the hard way!) From the moment we met for our first consultation, we appreciated Glenn's very direct, clear communication style. He explained the process, the challenges, the things that could go wrong and his contingency plans for them, the exact scope of work, and, most importantly, gave us a bid that he said would not change, even if some of the details of the job needed alteration. No upcharges to problem solve when those small, unexpected complication arise (and they always do!) And, if he makes a mistake, he pays for it. Not you. So it was easy to go with Glenn, even though his bid was slightly higher than some of his competitors. Sure enough, our very soft soapstone countertops were beautifully installed, without a scratch, precisely how I wanted (he even had me out to his shop to work with him and his designer, Lalo, to puzzle the slab together in the most aesthetically pleasing way). The marble went in like butter. Beautiful. He advised my tile installer (free of charge), which resulted in a better tile installation. He used extra marble to fabricate shelves for my shower niche, make a threshold for the shower and casing where the shower abuts the door, and he found ways to significantly reduce our cost. Stone Pros provided the highest level of professionalism, did gorgeous work, and provided a great value for the cost. They were one of only a few people (including our fabulous finish carpenter and my amazing handy man) of our large, complicated project that I simply did not have to worry about. Better than perfect!
Description of Work: Glenn and his team fabricated soapstone countertops for my kitchen, plus marble vanity countertop and tub deck for an upstairs bathroom. Fabricated marble shelves for a shower niche, and the threshold for the shower. Extensive consultation and advice given to the others on the job site (tile installer, contractor, owner).

Right from the first appointment with Glenn, I knew this was going to be a great experience. Glenn was extremely knowledgeable and had lots of examples of the different kitchen styles using granite for counters and backsplashes. Throughout the process, he took time to review options explaining the pros and cons. This not only helped with my understanding but gave me confidence. in my choices. Glenn met me and helped me pick out the granite slabs. I went to his shop to place the templates before cutting the slabs. He was always prompt on texting or calling me back to answer my questions on types of sinks and flooring. Glenn and his staff are very personable, professional and, I must say, talented in both design, production and installation. They took care tarping and cleaning up showing respect for my home. The counters are smooth, corners wrapping the windows are mitered flawlessly, edges butt the wall perfectly and the one seam is almost invisible. The quarter round edges are impeccable. At first one backsplash was to be pieced because of the long length and placement of the over-the-range microwave. I had the microwave removed for the installation and hoped for a single slab on that wall Glenn was reluctant to risk it cracking during transport or installation at first but was able to reinforce the slab and I got my one piece. The StonePro crew took great pride in their work and fine tuned the pieces at my home before installing to ensure every piece fit like a glove. The result is spectacular. When you spend several thousands dollars on granite you will want to have StonePro transform it into the final product you have envisioned.

Looking at just the job description, wouldn't give the reader an idea of even a fraction of the services Glen supplied. First, he was unfailingly on time and called before each visit. Second, Glens experience was really helpful in selecting materials, colors and layout -- which was invaluable for us. We knew we wanted a solid surface countertop, but had thought to get the color we thought we wanted, that we need to purchase quartz counter tops. Glen quickly walked us through the options, colors (who knew granite came in so many colors?), etc. and quickly convinced us that granite would be a better material (and cheaper too). I should note that Stone-Pros doesn't sell the material, so he has no reason not help the client make the best decision for them. He provided us with a list of wholesalers and their websites. We were able to make some initial decisions from his guidance and the websites. Third, Glen also met at the wholesaler we chose to help us choose the specific slabs for our kitchen. Not only did he help us understand some of the differences between the materials, but how they would look in our kitchen. Finally, the actual demolition and replacement of the countertops were done very professionally. His team used plastic to mask off the kitchen from the rest of the house, and did a great job after both the demolition and the installation. In both cases I think the kitchen was actually cleaner then when they arrived. The workmanship and attention to detail were awesome. It may be minor, but the one thing that blew me away was that he polished the underside of the countertop lip too. So that if you were to run your hand on the underside of the lip which extends beyond the cabinet it feels just as nice as the top. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Glen and his folks again.!
Description of Work: Glen & his team performed the following services: 1, Came to our home looked over the work and gave us a detailed estimate, on the spot, for replacing our existing tile countertops with granite. 2. Removed the old cooktop and sink 3. Removed all the old countertops 4. Installed the new granite countertops and mounted new sink. Cook top and sink plumbing were performed by others.

Description: We hired STONE PROS Tile & Granite, Inc. for the fabrication and installation of a new granite kitchen countertop, kitchen island, kitchen desk and kitchen nook. We selected a very fragile granite and great care had to be taken during the transportation, cutting and installation process. Member comments: GLENN SCHIFF IS THE OWNER; LALO AND URIEL ARE HIS ASSOCIATES. TOGETHER, THEY MAKE AN AMAZING TEAM. We began the process of remodeling our kitchen and replacing our tile kitchen countertops with no prior knowledge of what could be expected during a remodel. We found STONE PROS Tile & Granite while we were researching fabricator reviews on Angie's list. After we found STONE PROS listing and read several of their outstanding reviews we made an appointment for Glenn to come to our home. Glenn confirmed our appointment prior to his arrival and he arrived exactly on time. Note: This same punctuality with all future appointments remained consistent throughout our entire remodeling experience with STONE PROS. During our first consultation meeting, Glenn was knowledgeable, helpful, detailed and professional. After Glenn left our home we felt confident that he was the perfect granite fabricator for our kitchen remodel project. WE WERE RIGHT! We began the process of choosing our granite by looking/walking through several granite warehouses. Several times Glenn met us at the warehouses and offered his ideas and helpful suggestions. Once we selected and purchased our granite, Glenn, Lalo and Uriel come to our home to remove our old countertops and make new granite templates. They arrived promptly on time and they were all wearing matching work T-shirts. Before they began working in our home, they carefully protected our floors by covering them with paper and felt pads. They were meticulous, polite and methodical in both their demolition process and their template calculations. Throughout the entire process we felt confident that our project was in perfect hands. After Lalo and Uriel had completed the final template designs, Glenn arranged for us to meet him at his shop. THIS WAS THE FUN PART! Lalo and Glenn placed the templates on the granite slabs like a puzzle. We rearranged the templates in many different scenarios on top of the granite until we all felt that we had found the perfect placements. It was like a science. A few days later Glenn and his team returned to our home to install the granite. Again, their professionalism was evident in every detail and at the end of each day, they left our home vacuumed and spotless. Our new kitchen countertops are now installed and THE END RESULT IS BEAUTIFUL! WE LOVE OUR NEW KITCHEN! We could not be more pleased. Glenn, the owner of STONE PROS is considerate, very professional and he cares very much about customer satisfaction. He wants every customer of his to be 100% satisfied. He pays attention to every detail throughout the entire fabricating process: purchasing, templating and installation to make sure that everything is perfect. We look forward to hiring STONE PROS for our next remodel project. Thank you Glenn, Lalo and Uriel, your work is beautiful and working with all of you was a joy and a blessing.

We purchased a new cooktop for our kitchen island and, of course, it didn't fit the existing opening. We needed the granite opening enlarged. I spoke with Glenn at Stone Pros on Wednesday about this project. I sent him a text picture of the island and we scheduled the project for Friday. Because this was not a large job, he said he would be able to fit this in between other projects. He returned my calls promptly and worked hard to meet my schedule. He arrived with his stone cutter and set out to cut our granite counter. They began by tenting the area with plastic, sealed the ceiling light canisters and covered nearby appliances to protect them from the dust. They completed the job quickly and accurately. They even placed the new cooktop in the newly enlarged opening. And best of all, they cleaned up the area and left it they way they found it. They were professional, courteous and skilled at their craft. We would use them again without hesitation.
Description of Work: This project was to enlarged the opening in our granite counter top to accept a new gas cooktop.

Overall, Glenn was responsive even when he didn't have to be. He was simply trying to help us and I really appreciated his efforts. He was quick to return calls and texts. Overall, I found him to be very helpful and professional.
Description of Work: I found Glenn Schiff at Stone Pros to be honest, helpful, professional and recommend him for future projects. We were in the middle of a master bathroom remodel when our contractor walked off the job and went out of business. We were left to salvage the project on our own. We were missing one piece of granite for our backsplash with no way of getting it from our contractor. The granite supplier gave me Glenn's name and said he may have an extra piece from the same lot of granite. I called Glenn and he immediately called me back. He took the time to text and call with me as he was searching for any scraps he may have of the granite. He took the time to look for the granite and he found it. He called me to tell me he located it and then provided it FOR FREE to the tile/granite installer we were working with. Glenn was very kind and went out of his way to help us. Glenn's willingness to help us was refreshing given what we have been through with our original contractor. Glenn, thank you.

I called Stone Pros because of the many excellent reviews on Angie's List. In general, the reviews noted that Stone Pros owner Glenn Schiff runs a quality business that is very focused on customer satisfaction. Now having worked with Glenn and his team, I concur with the rest of the reviews. When I originally called Stone Pros, Glenn answered the call and spoke to me for 10 minutes or so to fully understand the scope of the job and to answer my questions. At that point he gave me a ballpark quote over the phone and he said the price would only change if the details of the project changed. Since we were only doing a countertop for a 60" bathroom vanity, Glenn suggested that we come to his shop near Woodinville to choose the stone material from his selection of marble, granite, and quartz remnants from other jobs. This helped to keep the price down. After my wife and I picked the stone, we scheduled a day for Glenn to come to our house to build a template for the countertop. Glenn arrived on a Monday, and finished his template work in less than an hour. The template was used to cut the stone to an exact fit. Glenn returned on Friday of the same week to install the countertop. His installation team of three guys were clean and respectful of our house. It took about 2 hours from start to finish. The vanity looks gorgeous with the new granite top! I did receive one other bid before I called Stone Pros. The other bid was a couple hundred dollars less, but I ended up going with Stone Pros because I really felt comfortable and confidant that Glenn and his team would do a great job -- and they did!
Description of Work: I hired Stone Pros to cut and install a granite countertop for a large bathroom vanity.

Brian and Glenn were both extremely professional and personable, and my wife and I found them exceptionally easy to work with. They answered all of our questions and made excellent suggestions to smooth the installation and insure the best results. The workmanship was outstanding and the work was promptly completed, from initial estimate to installation. As promised, the bill reflected the amount of the estimate. Our overall experience was completely positive. My wife and I cannot recommend Brian and Glenn highly enough.
Description of Work: Installation of travertine pattern tile in our master bath. We called Stone Pros for an estimate and received a prompt callback from Glenn Schiff. He came on the agreed-upon scheduled date, reviewed the work to be done, and called back the same day with the estimate, which we accepted. We coordinated with Glenn's brother, Brian, who did the installation, and he started promptly on the scheduled day. The work was completed quickly, skillfully, and very professionally. The job took the four days that Glenn estimated, given the large size (12" X 24") tiles that we had purchased and the complicated floor layout of our bath. On Glenn's recommendation, Brian installed a Chameleon heat register that was flush with the finish floor, and we were absolutely delighted with the result. The job was completed on time with no delay whatsoever.

Glenn came to my house to do a bid, which he gave me on the spot. He showed me pictures of past work and other ideas we could go with. Glenn was very responsive and great at communication through the whole process. He dropped off several samples on my doorstep and met us at the stone yard to give us some guidance. Once we picked our stones Glenn picked them up and took them to his shop. The island stone was not the easiest to work with but he did it and it came out brilliant. Three pieces of 4" wide steel had to be routed into the bottom of the stone to achieve the overhang we wanted. Then we went to the shop to decide where to place the template for the island. We also made a last minute sink change that he rolled with. When installation day came Glenn and his crew did a excellent and detailed job. They set the sinks, cooktop and drilled for the faucets. They laid down a tarp into the house. Very professional work. They sealed the granite and left me with a good supply of it. When the job was done there were a couple of items that I wanted addressed. Once again Glenn was very responsive and wanted to do whatever he could to make me satisfied with the job. He came out and addressed the small issues in about an hour, done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Ill post a few pics soon. Thank you Glenn on a job well done. I really wish all companies were run like yours.
Description of Work: Fabrication and installation of new countertops in our remodeled kitchen. Perimeter was done in Ceasarstone Raven and the island was done in Kosmos leathered granite. Two sinks and a cooktop were installed.

The service Stone Pros provided was excellent. They asked questions, gave me options, did the work and cleaned up. I mean clean as when they arrived and they were generating a lot of dust. They were impressively professional and courteous. Most importantly, throughout the whole experience they set expectations and delivered on them 100%. At the end, they were even kind enough to do a walkthrough on some other work I was considering. In an industry rife with consumer issues; "customer service" is alive and flourishing at Stone Pros.

Working with Stone Pros was great. They were fast, friendly and honest. This was a small job and other companies treated it as such, charging the maximum and trying to shoe horn me into their schedule. Stone Pros were happy to help, in a timely fashion and their rate was more than reasonable. I hope I get a chance to work with them again.
Description of Work: I had them cut a marble slab into some trim pieces I will be installing in my kitchen.

Wow! Fabulous! The best service I have ever received! Glenn and his guys guided us through the choices and recommendations. We chose a Silestone product in a Steel color that is beautiful with seams that are amzing. The finished product was beautiful and the services was fabulous. At the beginning, you could tell something was different about the way Glen runs his business. The Stone Pros guys took the time to ask questions and help us make the right choice on a product that fit our needs. They brought samples until we were sure we had picked the right product. Every interaction with Glen and his team was prompt, courteous, and was service oriented. Wow this was refreshing after completing a complete house remodel, I was blown away by the level of service we received from Stone Pros. The team that came and did the template, undermount, and instillation work were timely, precise, and if we had not happend to come home while they were there you wouldn't know they had been there as they didn't leave a spec of dirt behind. When they were all done, Glenn wouldn't let us pay for the work until he was sure we were not just happy with them but sure that there wasn't a thing they could do more for us to ensure they were perfect. And if that wasn't enough, my electrician damaged the edge of the counter and in a panic....Glen was able to send one of his guys over to fix the dammage before my wife got home. Saving me from the dog house. I would higly recommend Stone Pros for any remodel work you have in mind.
Description of Work: Stone Pro's were hired to install new counters for our floating home. This was a tricky job in itself as the house moves and requires careful planning, correct materials and percision instillation.

Stone Pros was the 3rd company we had contacted. Immediately there was a difference. Glenn at Stone Pros was the only company that actually visited the site and actively engaged to understand the project before providing an estimate. Glenn worked with us to select different options for the granite that brought us to a better place in the end with the finished product. Glenn even went out of his way to meet us on a Saturday in the sodo district with 1 hours notice when we picked out the granite slab. We are very happy with the quality of the work, expertise and the level of service received. No other company can compare. We will be using Stone Pros again.
Description of Work: Stone Pros manufactured and installed a granite slab on the shower wall. This was a feature element and critical to the overall project design. They also manufactured and installed a granite shower curb, shower box liner, shaving platform and 2 countertops.

My experience with Glenn Schiff of Stone Pros tile and granite was unlike that of any other contractor. I built my own home, and consider myself a picky perfectionist that is trying to cut back on demands for extreme quality and performance from contractors. I did my best to be "hands off" with Glenn. He was chosen by my and my wife's research on Angie's list. We were pretty impressed with the reviews. The actual process of choosing granite and scheduling were handled by my wife. She was very happy after meeting with Glenn at one of the large granite distributors in south Seattle. They looked through sample upon sample of colors and types until (after 3 hours!) they found "the perfect one". At that point, Glenn suggested they could find the exact same material at another distributor for less cost. Turned out to be true- 30 or 40% less, which was passed on to us. In fact, she paid for the material that day, and he transported it to his shop at no charge. Further scheduling was made easy by Glenn's ongoing responsiveness and prompt return of calls or emails. Never was there a time when we said "hmmm- what's going on here?" After more than a month of delays on our part, we were able to schedule initial pattern making and discuss details of the job. He fit us into his schedule via close attention to communication and listening to (and answering) our questions, as well as offering suggestions for how things would work and look the best when the job was done. The finished job looks outstanding. I wasn't here to see it go in, but when I returned home after work that evening, my comment was "it looks like I am at a model home in a fancy neighborhood where everyone has the very best". In this case, I feel that is true. Although I wasn't especially interested in granite in our kitchen, my wife is absolutely thrilled, and now I am as well. I delayed writing this review because I couldn't quite describe our experience and put it in writing. A few days ago, I said to my wife "I think Glenn is in the wrong business- his work is excellent, but his service and communication is even better. He should teach customer service to contractors". She told me he had mentioned doing just that. I think he would do well whether he teaches or not. We also had 2 large bottles of granite cleaner and conditioner delivered after the job was all finished. These were included in the cost of the installation, even though they weren't mentioned in the original agreement. Also, Glenn did not require a "down payment" or partial payment in advance of starting work (we did pay for the stone direct to the supplier in advance). He insisted on us being completely satisfied before collecting payment for the job. Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend.
