Stollwerck Plumbing & Sewer LLC

We hired our local Mukilteo plumbing company, Stollwerck to trim out plumbing in our new custom construction in Mukilteo. We wanted to help support the community. However, this was the worst decision we made. They are don’t know to a bid a job correctly and kept on adding costs without approval before starting any work. They send over 5 guys who can’t seem to manage time nor finish a job a handyman can do in few hours. Stollwerck has some good workers but is poorly managed. They are misleading in their plumbing capabilities, and we are not proud they represent our local community business. We still have a toilet that does not flush right, and the shower head does not fully function. We tried to settle the bill with them, but they were unwilling to work with us. They ended up blocking our email and threatened a lein on us with work still left unfinished. They will only talk by phone, which is not a pleasant unless you enjoy being lied to and talked down to.

Guy is extremely rascist. Came out to my house, and just made rasciat remark after remark.

I've used him 4 times. He's super busy, but he's helpful at least. He came and fixed my leak right away. Now I'm trying to get things so he can come back to put the water heater back to where it goes. He'll do it when I can get the drywall repaired. I can't go to a hotel because I have 4 dogs. I couldn't even relocate for a temporary day. They're little babies, they're little French Bulldogs, so they don't even like to go outside to go pee. They like to pee on the carpet, because it's warm in the house! They're sweethearts, though. He only does the plumbing, though. He won't do the drywall. So it looks like the leak happened in January. I have been sitting here for a month with everything all torn apart. The leak was repaired and now I'm sitting here unfinished waiting to find a contractor that can help me put the bathroom back together. They have to tear out the floor and repaint the inside walls because everything got wet. Until I can get everything fixed, I can't get my water heater back to where it goes. I would say he's consistently a "B". He's really good, but I don't have experience with other people. I keep going back to him and I've gone back to him 4 times. So far, he's the only person I've been able to get help from. The price that he's charging for the coming out and fixing... he just sent me the bill and insurance is going to be paying for it, thank God. If not, I would be going, "oh my God," because he had inspect and find out where the leak was coming from. He had to crawl under the house, he didn't know where it was and all that stuff. So that bill, just for him to find the problem, cut into the wall, buying the material, and all that stuff was $2200. And that's not for him coming back and putting things back. That's just for stopping the emergency. He's going to be back to drain the water heater, moving the water heater, and reattach it. That's going to be probably another $500 or so. I wouldn't say that his prices are very affordable. But being that, thank God, that the insurance is paying for it, I'm okay. I think that if it was coming out of my pocket, I would be freaked out. I would have to go get a loan. I would recommend him because he gets the job done.
