After a blackout, the outlets in various parts of our house were not working despite having reset the breakers. After calling around a few electricians to get quotes, Joe was able to guide me through the process to fix the issue over the phone! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable folks - definitely a place I'll go to in the future if we need more work done. Lauren also booked our phone appointment with Joe with extreme efficiency. Can't go wrong with them.

Smart Electric was a real life saver for me! My electricity went out late last Tuesday. I called a large company in the area and was told the entire panel needed to be replaced and it would cost $7500 (before tax!). I called Smart Electric for a 2nd opinion and I am so glad I did! Joseph called me back right away and did some troubleshooting over the phone and asked me to send him some pictures. Right away he could see that the main breaker just needed to be replaced. He got it ordered and they had it the next day. Jason came out after hours on Thursday to swap it out so I would not be without power another night. Instead of paying $7500 for a new panel that I didn't need, they got my power restored for under $600! The office staff was wonderful, as well. Very honest and professional company and I would definitely recommend them and will be using them in the future if anything else comes up.

Joe is an extremely EV chargerknowledgeable electrician and very professional and friendly. He was able to relocate an EV charger and install another in less than an hour for a very reasonable rate. Will definitely call on him for future work!

I have had the pleasure of working with Smart Electric for a couple years now. I am a Project Manager for a Custom Home Builder and this company has it dialed in! Joe is amazing to work with. He excels in putting together bids quickly, being very communicative, and is always very professional. They also have an all-star crew. Jason and Keith are some of the best electrical leads I have worked with. They always have a great attitude onsite. Also a shout out to the office staff Sammy & Molly are great to work with. They are always on top of scheduling inspections and communicating updates with me. Highly recommend Smart Electric!

The estimate was competitive. The team was on time and courteous. After pulling off drywall for them to place wire inside the wall, they placed the wire in conduit outside the wall. They indicated they would change it if I insisted, but might take additional time/cost. They did not come with all the parts and did not seem to completely understand the job from the estimate. Several times they indicated they would have to redo some of the work and/or had the wrong parts. They were not able to fully complete the job in the 2 days allocated because they were missing a part and then needed reminding to order the part over multiple weeks. Overall, could have been worse (again - they were on time, courteous, and completed the job) but was not to expectations.

This is not the first project that Smart Electric has handled for me. I needed them to run CAT5 cabling from one end of the house to the other. The technicians did the work that I asked them to do, they arrived on time and they did an excellent job, not leaving until the wiring was completed tested and everything was up and running. A very professional organization, which I would hire again.

Based on Angi, Yelp and Google reviews, we chose a couple of well-reviewed, Generac-certified companies to come out for estimates for installing a whole-house generator. Given the amount of house/property that we wanted to power (our house, septic, well, mother-in-law dwelling, etc.), both recommended the 26kW and both were about the same price for installation. But we liked Joseph's knowledge, honesty and responsiveness to our email/text questions afterward, so we went with Smart Electric. Lead electrician Keith and crew were prompt, friendly and professional throughout the installation on the day we had scheduled. A wiring issue required Keith to return for several Saturday visits, and we appreciated his communication and determination to make sure we were completely satisfied. We would definitely call Smart Eclectic again.

I had an appointment to get my ancient gas furnace tuned up and I have to say, the technician Kevin did an excellent job. I I could give him more than 5 stars I would. It started with how nice and polite he was. He put a mask on when I asked without giving me a hard time. This is very appreciated. Then he noticed something was not hooked up (the fan only function) and he fixed it. Then he noticed the holder for my filter wasn't seated right so he fixed that (which was no small amount of work), and then he cleaned two areas of the furnace I NEVER saw anyone else clean in the 15 years I have lived here. Then he cleaned everything up and made sure to explain everything well and made sure I was happy with everything. I cant even believe the excellent service. On top of that he was quick, efficient but did not make me feel rushed. This ancient furnace is working better than it has in years! Do not hesitate to go with Smart Electric - they are top notch - oh yeah - on top of all of this great service, the price was $100 less than other companies I had out to do the same job! The other companies charged more and did less. Smart Electric just got a customer for life. I highly recommend!!!

From the start, Joe and the team at Smart Electric were easy to work with, knowledgeable, responsive, and highly professional. They answered my questions, came in with a competitive bid, and helped me find ways to cut costs. They worked with me to meet a tight timeline and their crew showed up early even though the job foreman had to call in sick. They worked through a wiring issue, communicated well, and came in on-time and on-budget. Working with them was a great experience. I will be recommending them to my neighbors!!

Joe was very professional and helpful, consulting with me. Ultimately he advised me to follow up with PUD to solve my issue and there was no charge. I will definitely call then if I need something more in the future.

Smart Electric are awesome!! They rewired our whole house and installed a new heat pump. They were meticulous and well priced. They didn’t make unnecessarily big holes in the walls, which the inspector even marvelled at. Joe and his team are pro’s, we wouldn’t work with anyone else now

I’m very glad I went with Smart Electric to fix our issue, involving outlets that were failing and power failures in a specific area of our home, even though the circuit breaker seemed okay. From the moment I contacted them I sensed professionalism, and immediately felt at ease. The person sent to fix the problem (Keith) was quick and thorough, and fixed the issue. When we experienced a similar issue some weeks later, same circuit, I called Smart Electric in a panic and they put Keith on the line, and we talked through it together. Keith remembered everything about my prior issue, including how the circuit in our home ran, and provided a solution I was able to complete on my own, saving me another visit and cost. He even let me know what I should do to ensure we don’t have another issue down the road, based on the load our home is designed to take on that circuit. I am very happy with Smart Electric and highly recommend them ... also, I think I may owe Keith dinner or something.

Didn't realize that Smart Electric did HVAC as well, until I got a recommendation. Their quote was the best I'd received, they performed the install within a week of giving us the quote, the Installer/Estimator was knowledgable and helpful, and the installation was performed by an excellent group. I can't imagine we could be happier about our Heat Pump installation!

The job went great. We had a GENERAC Home Generator installed. From start to finish the project was quick and professional Joe was able to explain to me, in laymen's terms, how the system works, answered all of my questions and got our project scheduled and completed quicker than expected. The technicians, Ben, Josh and Kevin were both knowledgeable and friendly. They were always on time, answered all my questions and made it a pleasant experience .
