I?ve never had actual problems with a contractor before. Things aren?t always 100% smooth when you rehab homes,.. But there?s a difference between completing a job, and NOT EVEN COMING CLOSE. Then to try to demand prompt payment, and payment for work not completed, and billed for MORE than the original bid?.. At some point you?re dealing with someone blatantly fraudulent. The work is poor and far from complete, yet he has sought an Attorney to try to collect more than the original bid. Homeowners, run and hide. This contractor will lose this scenario very easily as I have a lot of pictures, and video, of all his incomplete work. Watch out for this con man. I?m certain that he has used these tactics to rip people off before and try to scare them into paying for work he didn?t complete, because he will instantly get an attorney. I will be resolve the proper balance owed with his attorney, and then I will sue him for damages? and win. Please report him to the DOL and state board of construction if he has worked for you and ripped you off too.
Description of Work: Unfortunately, I hired Vincent (Vince) Mcintosh of Pro Image Contractors, to complete a residential rehab of a house in Kelso WA. Vince: 1.Did not complete the job/his work. 2.The work that was complete was definitely sub-par/poor quality. 3.Went more than 3months past the due date. 4.Never came back to finish his work. 5.Has been trying to bill me for more than his original bid (yes, even though the work was FAR from complete) 6.Demanded prompt payment even though the job is incomplete. 7.Told me the job was complete on 12/22/2016… (it’s 3/20/2017 and he hasn’t done a single thing in the house since that date) 8.Has confirmed in text messages that he has not completed all the work, BUT, demanded that I pay for the whole job, then he will come back to finish (just another story trying to get me to pay for work that hasn’t been completed so he can try to run off with my money without completing the job (like he’s been trying to do the whole time)) 9.Has confirmed numerous tasks not completed. 10.Has confirmed that he will have to take a reduction for not completing certain tasks. 11.Still tries to bill me for MORE THAN the full amount anyway…. 12.Is trying to bill me for an inaccurate amount (more than I owe from the bid he gave me, but also incorrect math and trying to overcharge me) 13.Absolutely refuses to complete and has now contacted an Attorney, of which I have scheduled an appointment for 3/21/2017 to try to negotiate and resolve payment, because he is trying to overbill me, and incorrectly bill me, and fraudulently bill me. 14.Left an items list of more than 19 items not completed. 15.Has cost me 3-4months of holding costs while he claimed the job was complete, and then while I tried to get him to come back to complete his work.
