Peters PC Repair provides computer repair (both PC and Mac) in homes and businesses; whether its a desktop or a laptop. Everything from figuring out "why doesnt it work?" to fixing Blue Screens of Death to putting in wifi and printers. I can repair your laptops broken screen or power jack. I will tell you how much I think any repair will cost, and let you know if a repair might not be worth it.

Services we offer

The services offered by Peters PC include, but are not limited to, computer and laptop repair, maintenance & upgrade. I also provide computer, network & WiFi set up & operation. I can provide printer set up as well. I also tutor, teach, and consult on all matters computer, as well as iPhone, iPad, Android phone & Android tablet. In addition to all things PC, I also work with & on Macintoshes. Including purchase, set up & ongoing care. Sometimes you just dont want to go to the Apple Store.

Services we don't offer

Peters PC does not offer large office or enterprise-level networking. My focus is on the small office and residential customer.

Peter came to my house and got the printer going almost immediately. He answered my questions at my level of understanding. He then took the PC away to do the Windows update. He brought it back on time and set it up as agreed. The service was just what I needed when I needed it.
Description of Work: I needed to have the operating system updated and help with printer problems.

I had tried to install a laptop screen to replace a shattered one and couldn't get it to work. Not only did Peter give me advice before even looking at it (things I may have missed), but when he found that the issue was the power button, he gave me complete details about the issue and suggested I consider whether spending more on a computer this age. A competent and honest professional is worth a lot to me and I highly recommend him.

He said he could do what I needed, but it was left incomplete. He said his time was up, but the email was not competed yet. He told me the steps to take to get the email running. I said that this was one of the reasons I hired him, but he said he was out of time. He should have told me upfront that there was a specific time frame, and he should have suggested a time or way to complete the job I paid him for.
Description of Work: I bought 2 new computers and wanted to get data from the old computers and put them onto the new ones.
