Our new tech came for the first time in early July 2014. We were scheduled for regular service in June, but no one showed up. When I called, the scheduler was puzzled, because their records indicated that someone had come to the house. The new tech was sent in early July. He arrived on time, and appeared friendly and competent. It didn't take him long, but he did an inspection and said that he had sprayed and refilled bait stations. He came at the regular service time in August on the 18th, but he didn't call before as was indicated on our account. I was out of the house for a few minutes, but I would have been there to meet him had he called as he was supposed to. I was told that he had performed the service, and the receipt indicated that he had "refilled baitstation" (he only had access to one), But nearly all the work is inside or in the back, which he did not have access to. He returned on the 20th to do the regular work. He was very quick, and I wondered what he had actually done, so I checked the two rodent bait stations. They were both completely empty and contained record cards indicating they had last been filled in April. I took pictures. I called the regional contact, who was very apologetic and helpful. She tried for weeks to get the Everett office to respond to my issue. No one ever called me, so I cancelled my contract. The Everett office covers my neighborhood in Seattle, and I will never recommend them again. Their behavior was dishonest, unresponsive and unprofessional.

One first contact I was excited that they were going to come out quickly and treat my moisture ant problem. They did come out at the scheduled time and sprayed the affected area. I also purchased the yearly pack for an additional $99 a month. After one week I had to call back because the treatment didn't work. It took them a little while to get back to me but they finally did come back and retreat the area. It didn't work. I called again before the next billing cycle and asked for further help. They never got back to me. Then they charged me again. I called and they said they would cancel the service (per my request) and refund the last charge but not the first one since I waited until after the "time was up" to contact them. (Even though I did contact them in the allotted time, there was record of my call, and record that they never got back to me,.) After speaking with several people and finally getting to a manager I was assured I would get a refund for the first amount. I never got it. In fact they came out again without scheduling with me and charged me a third time. It took another call to get that charge off. A second call to the the 2 charge off (which was supposed to happen a month before when I canceled, as you can see the cancellation never went through even though it was logged and the refund never happened.) It took 3 more calls and 3 more promises to get the first charge reversed... Possibly more, I still haven't received it yet. But the lady this morning sounded helpful so my fingers are crossed.

Called for an estimate for carpenter ants and the bid they gave was DOUBLE other bids we got. They also offered no guarantee for the 994.00, while the other bids offered this. May 23, 2013 Update-Just got a call from Orkin, who is now offering me a lower price. Don't understand why they would not have offered this from the beginning. When I called the guy wanted to proceed with getting "signed up" right there, but now today the lady on the phone is saying she can now offer me a more "local" price. Why would this not have been explained to me in the first place? I find it hard to believe that if I had signed up at the 994.00 rate, that Orkin would have then come to me and said even though I signed a contract, they were now going to lower the price of that contract. To me, this feels like a company I can't trust.

I have used them for over a year. When I started the service, they said I needed it once a month then they got a new man and he said I only needed it every two months, why didn't they tell me that the first year?

It costs too much. It was $100.00 a visit. The previous time it was only $40.00 a visit which is why I say it is way too much. There was a particular person who was doing the providing that I was getting along with pretty well. That's what I particularly liked. As far as quality of the service, I think it was adequate. I thought the did what they were supposed to do. If you include the price for my overall experience, I would give it a C. If you are talking about service only, I would give them an A. I would only use them again if the price were better.

They did an outstanding job. They went above and beyond and I was very pleased to see how few bugs got in the house after.

They just do a wonderful job. They're on time and professional. They are reliable and effective. They're just really good. I will use them again in the future.

They came once a month for two years to spray for ants. I had problems with five different types of ants and the service they performed fixed the issue. He was always on time and never bothered me. When he left he would leave me a list of the things he had done during his visit.

They were willing to come back for up to a month if their service didn't work for up to a month. They did come back once. They were able to get rid of the wasps.

They are reasonable priced, and very responsive to any calls or issues.

I like everything about them. They let me know when they're coming.

They did whatever they did and spraying everything. They did it routinely and they did it quickly. The work was okay because we don’t have any carpenter ants. They were very congenial. I always left them message and they did take it.

They came out and treated only the outside and wouldn't come in the house to treat the inside. They came out a few times in the month and I was not seeing any improvement. I stopped paying to talk to someone about my problem with them not coming into my house to treat this problem. No one was ever available when I called and so I finally had them stop coming out.

Discovered my crawl space was torn apart by rats, They came and gave me an estimate, for a one time deal for $300 or $147 for initial and $93 for every other month for a year. But not pushy sales tactics. Then today the guy came out and removed some dead rats and set traps in the crawl space, he also plugged all possible access points. I have to take his word for this cause I was not going down there! It was a dirty job because I also have a water issue going on. Both people I dealt with were very nice and super knowledgeable about rats. They quoted me $2200 to clean out the crawl space and replace insulation but I am checking around that may be a bit high and I lost my job so pinching pennies. I chose the year plan because I want to make sure they are gone and don't come back because its such an expensive thing cleaning the crawl space I would not ever want to do this again. I would highly recommend them. Very professional.
