My wife contacted Eric via phone and while he was nice, he directed me to email him to set up time for a bid. She gave a brief description over the phone and he asked when we'd like to start, she stated beginning of November, which he said would probably work. She then emailed more specific info and contact information...twice. After not hearing back after a week, she emailed the second time. Still no response. Would've really like to use his company, since they are so close/local to us, but responsiveness & communication is one of our biggest pet peeves. Moving on

The owner of the company came out and we really liked him. He said he wouldn't be able to do the job for several months. We said that was fine. I had to contact him a few times. He didn't reply. He had forgotten to include the glass wall/door in his estimate. I needed to know how to calculate how much tile I would need for the walls, bench and floor because in his estimate he only included the cost of labor, and there was a question or 2 about terminology. I waited more than 3 weeks and sometimes 6 before contacting him again when he did not reply to emails or phone calls. We just can't understand why he would not reply to our several attempts to contact him. We were extremely kind and patient with him to the point of ridiculous! Our questions were very reasonable. We just don't understand this and want answers from him. My initial contact was November 30th, 2015. His response was on 12/06/15. Then on 12/16/15 he writes to say they would be available the week after Christmas, are we still interested. We answered yes! 1/7/16 I sent email to set up time for him to come since I missed his email about time to come. December 9th I wrote apology for overlooking his email which later he did the same to us, i. e. He had to apologize to us for missing my email about scheduling. Then on 1/11/16 he writes to say they are booked until June and can't take on anymore until May which really didn't make sense. On 1/13/16 he writes he can schedule a meeting for the following week. Then he wrote back on same day saying he meant to say a different day and would get back to me with a time. He emailed me an incomplete estimate on 2/25/2016 not realizing it was incomplete. On the same day I sent an email with 6 questions including things left out of the estimate to asking what dome terminology meant and the next day sent him an idea I had to make this easier on him. Didn't hear back so on 3/11/16 I called him with the same questions and info that I had sent to him via email which he had not answered and he never sent a new estimate with the things he should have included. Weeks and months would pass by and he would not answer our calls which, as I said, were 3-6 weeks apart, and, he is the one who told us to call him not email because he misses too many emails. I'd say the last call to him was by my husband which he didn't answer like usual, about 3-4 weeks ago. That is the last attempt on our part.
