Mr. Handyman of Snohomish County

The technician charged me for the estimate. He told me that I need two technicians and it will take 4 hours to do the job. I called another company, the job was done by one technician in 40 minutes.

They are a bit pricey but each handyman I've had has been courteous, professional and had the skills needed to do the job.

It was good.

This was a difficult experience, made worse by the post-work contact with the billing person. This company charges $116 per hour for handyman services. The person who did the work took nearly two full days to repair, tape and mud, and paint three areas of drywall. I felt that this was a lot of time to charge, given that $116 per hour for a handyman seems like a premium rate. For this rate, I should receive efficient and premium service. I have hired other people for similar work, never paying anything close to this rate. They have managed to get the work done better and faster. A person at the Mr. Handyman office spoke to me about this and then checked with the personnel at the office, who apparently agreed that the time allotted was appropriate. So be it. The real ugliness occurred with the billing person, who seemed more bent on arguing than settling the matter. I explained that I felt that I had not received premium service but that, given that we did not agree, I would pay the bill and not use the service again. She seemed to go off on that. She should not be working with the public. Her attitude was absolutely terrible, though I am sure she will blame the problem on me as a "problem customer." It was a mistake to have hired this contractor.

I would hire them again.

If you have a handyman come to your house, expect to spend over $100 an hour. I spent less for an electrician this summer!

Gentleman was very courteous and on time. He also embraced my recommendation. YET job could have been done in about an hour and half, but it took him 2 and 1/2 hrs. He could have been more thorough too, because after he left the job site, I still found a few more loose pieces of rock veneer that I believe he should noticed. Overall, He was Good! Thomas

My family has worked with a number of different contractors over the last four years we have owned our home. Mr. Handyman was without question the WORST experience we have ever had. Terrible service, the contractor was lazy and unmotivated (they of course charge by the hour) and he did such a piss poor job that we had to hire another service to actually fix what little work Mr. Handyman got to. THE WORST. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Tec was great...company responsive...expensive

He was prompt friendly, was very respectful of my home and left the work area all clean.

the work turned out great. all the hardware was missing from the job and he had to return to finish the job. still it was done in in one day. I would use again anytime......thanks

Scot went out of his way to try to get the project done right - his work was excellent and he kept things neat and cleaned up. The company was very customer oriented and were very easy to deal with over the phone and on the job. I will definitely keep them in mind for any additional projects that may come up. Excellent Attitude/Excellent workmanship.

They were a bit overpriced.
