I recently had the pleasure of working with a highly skilled renovation expert Richie who provided tile installation services and installation of hood and range and other handyman’s work in my newly built house. His level of professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail truly exceeded our expectations. He approached the job with confidence and demonstrated a thorough understanding of the different tasks around the new construction. He was able to install our Italian range when two other handy man couldn’t. He did tile installation and did excellent job and left the site clean. His knowledge was evident in his ability to offer valuable recommendations on design and layout. He was punctual, tidy and overall experience left me thoroughly satisfied and stress-free.

Just got done with a massive remodel in our home in Silver Firs area. We went from a house that was 80% stuck in 1987 that was driving us crazy. We were finally in a position to update so we started getting estimates from different companies and contractors. Lion Heart Remodel stood out above the rest. Most folks I met with had a lot experience in remodel work but Richard has vision and imagination. From the moment he introduced himself to my wife and I, we felt confident that this was the guy to hire. Never once through this 2.5 month project did I regret that decision. Great communication, asks for feedback through the whole process, and takes changes in stride. We did three new bathrooms, windows, flooring trim, interior and exterior doors, interior paint, banister-replacement-with-pony-wall, and a new deck. The work done here by Lion Heart and his whole crew has been literally life changing for us. For the first time in the 15 years we’ve lived in this house, we are absolutely in love with our home. I cannot recommend Lion Heart enough. Note that my remodel is done I don’t mind sharing! 😂

LionHeart remodel goes above and beyond! They remodeled our kitchen, put in new flooring and painted nearly every room in our house plus a myriad of other small things to make it all look outstanding. We are very happy with the results and had great experience working with Richard! His attention to detail and care and concern about the whole project made remodeling an enjoyable process. At a previous home we had some updating done but this was our first experience with a large remodeling project. We were hesitant as friends and family shared with us their nightmares of working with contractors. Richard took any of that fear away. He’s professional, attentive and makes sure the job is done right. We are grateful and happy customers and will definitely be hiring LionHeart again!

I generally don't bother writing reviews but for the work that Lionheart Remodel did, I decided to create an account and leave them a review - because they're amazing and they deserve to be doing everyone's projects! We had an old & ugly kitchen that we didn't know what to do with or how to reconfigure into a brand-new kitchen with an island. But we knew that we wanted an island. We stumbled upon Lion Heart Remodel on Angie's list and then looked up their project work on Instagram and we loved what we saw - I'll be honest, we had several contractors (many rated A++ on Angie's list) come in to give us quotes for the job, and ideas about what could be done with the place, but not one of them came remotely close to the sheer enthusiasm and positive energy that Richard brings to the table. We decided right then that we'll go with LH Remodel - and in retrospect - thank god we did! Richard who leads LH Remodel knows everything about the business - not just from the technical aspect - but also the soft skills that make him a great professional to work with - like handling the client's anxiety, answering their questions, being patient and receptive to feedback or just adapting to changing situations - especially with the Covid thing going on. Richard helped us configure the layout of the new kitchen and even brainstormed with us about what would make sense. He is very good with communication and always kept us in constant communication about everything that was going on. Every morning we'd get an update about what the plan was for the day, who was arriving, what time and what they were aiming to achieve by the end of that day and how they were going about it. And they always hit their target for the day! I wanted to share this example that in my opinion sums up Richard's abilities and his attention to detail - our floor bull nose trim piece was delayed and then delayed some more to the extent that we didn't have one for installation - enter Richard - he went and bought an unfinished trim piece and he stain matched it to our existing floors. And by match, I mean he REALLY made them match - like we couldn't tell where the existing floor seam ended and where the stain-matched trim piece started. In fact, the trim piece that he stain-matched looks way better than the other trim piece that was "factory" made by the flooring company and is installed in our living room. After we started our project, we had a whole bunch of delays in the shipping of materials because of the disruption in logistics (thanks to Covid-19) - but Richard was super accommodating about that and they worked around our schedule and made everything happen, and still finished the project ahead of our deadline! And did I mention they're FAST - without compromising on the Quality of work! They finished the demo in 2 days, cleaned up the whole place and we were ready to go! Richard is a perfectionist and is always looking for those "attention to detail" things that no one would notice - he'd pick up on that and fix those - and that drive for doing good work and attention to detail, permeates through to his team. They are as a group, detail-oriented, trustworthy, extremely professional, and very receptive to the customer’s needs. He will go that extra mile to make you happy! And trust me, it makes all the difference in the end. Our new kitchen looks stunning and we're still in awe of what we achieved! The before and after of it, is unrecognizable. Every time we step into our kitchen now, we just keep admiring how awesome it looks and how well Lion Heart Remodel pulled this off! At the start of the project, my wife had a vision of what she wanted her kitchen to look and feel like, and with LH remodel we achieved that goal! We're already planning on hiring them again for doing our bathroom remodel upstairs!

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Richard came by the first time around to inspect my condo & to take measurements. He did mention that we needed to level some parts of the floor which would cost me $2,000 more than the advertised $1,000 price for the Floor Installation. So I asked about the promotion advertised on AngiesList which says $750 for Floor Installation and he replied saying that he'll honor that if I do the floor leveling. I said that wasn't fair but I needed the floor leveled anyways. A week later we scheduled the installation. He shows up with two other employees & takes almost an hour to get everything out the van & says that he has an issue with the new vacuum that he just bought. When we got upstairs and he looked at the floors again with my furniture removed he started making up excuses saying that the job might require more, and that he might need an extra day to think about it. I asked if the price that we discussed was an issue & he immediately stopped me & said that he doesn't want to discuss price in front of his employess. He then asked his employees to go outside so that he can talk to me. Then he somehow brought up drugs & how his employees were ex drug addicts and to make sure not to bring anything like that up. WHAT?! Do I look like I use drugs to you?!.. Completely unprofessional person and seems VERY SHADY. At the end of it all, he told me that he would call me the next day to discuss things further & said that because we didn't start the day before that I had to wait another month for them to have a spot open to work on my place. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, WHEN HE WAS SHOWING ME MY FLOORS NOT BEING LEVELED, HE RUINED & BROKE A VINYL PLANK. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL & DOES NOT SEEM LIKE HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING. Stay away & do not hire!

All good. Richard did a home inspection, outlined what was necessary, provided options, an estimate and a scheduled date to return. His crew showed up on time and did the necessary set up work. Richard came and lined out the boys, everything went fine, clean up was done. All good.

We did not hire him. Its during pandemic time we requested that face mask, glove, and shoe covers be worn inside our house to look at job site. Richard asked if we will provide face mask and gloves to him. Later he said he will charge us $50 if he has to buy shoe covers. Face mask, latex gloves and shoe covers are not the only things he nickle and dimed us. His quote was high, and we were asked to remove the toilet and washer dryer ourselves as he did not include those in his renovation work. Very interesting business. Two weeks later, the WA Governor requires everyone to wear face mask due to spike in coronavirus infestation across the State. It wasn't unreasonable for us to ask contractors to provide clean face mask of their own. Richard might have the skills for the job, but he definitely was not a good fit to us because our conversation clashed.

Richard was fantastic! He was so responsive and extremely helpful with choosing material for the shower. He was on-time, on-budget and any surprises that came up he was very informative to help with the best outcome to alleviate. I will absolutely be calling Richard again!

He was very helpful! I had somebsmall damage done to some laminant flooring. I was given a very honest quote. It turned out to be a very simple fix and rather than charging me for a full repair, he walked me through doing it myself. It was easy and saved me a ton! Thanks!!

First off, I had initially submitted my job to HomeAdvisor and had also reached out to two other flooring companies. No one ever got back to me. When I let HomeAdvisor know I had no response from anyone, the recommendation for Lion Heart came through a referral from Angie's List. I'm so happy that this recommendation came through because Richard and team were fabulous! A simple job turned out to be a lot more complicated when we discovered that my dishwasher had been leaking underneath and had saturated the plywood between two layers of vinyl. No wonder my floor was bubbling! Richard found mold and all sort of nasty stuff. He and his crew got everything cleaned up and sealed and the new flooring beautifully laid in just two days. I really appreciated Richard's expertise and the care and craftsmanship of his team. I felt the price was really reasonable considering the scope of the project changed so drastically. I would highly recommend Richard and hope to have him do future projects for me. The new floor looks fantastic!

Richard installed vinyl plank flooring. He estimated the cost and did the work. He did everything he said. He was on time and finished in 2 1/2 day's. He was neat and organised. He's can be proud of his work.

I would highly recommend working with Richard and Lion Heart Remodel. We hired him to upgrade the acoustic value of our laminate plank flooring in the second floor condo we just recently bought. As first time home owners we had no ideal how to start such a project and from the very beginning Richard was very knowledgeable. He explained how our project would go, what materials would be best to use, and answered my many questions and concerns. He was extremely resourceful and mindful of our budget ensuring that we knew of any costs associated with the project. Richard was always, professional, respectful and knowledgeable about laying engineered hardwood on a cement pad. He was very patient with my ignorance about the process, answering all my questions and explaining all the steps along the way...from prepping the floor to caring for the hardwoods. He listened to my request for the look I wanted for my floor and delivered. I would highly recommend Richard and Lion Heart Remodel.

Wow! We feel so fortunate to have found and hired Richard and Lion Heart Remodel. Richard does top notch work at a very reasonable price. He communicated with us through the process and referred us to a great flooring and tile store, where we were able to buy the materials ourselves and save on contractor's markup. Very good. They worked over the weekend into the evening and got it done very quickly. The quality was good as well, Richard was very honest after the work he walked me out and shows the things that they couldn't fixed that I wouldn't notice if he had not pointed them out.
