I had a bad pump. Turned out to be a faulty wire which I was able to fix myself. Great work on the pumping of 3 tanks though. Thanks!

They do not have a license for white water septic systems. When they finally admitted that, I decided I did not want to use this company. They tried to push another company on me to use that was just as bad and pushy.

We had a bit of a panic with our toilet backing up and the plumber telling us we had a faulty valve in our septic tank. We called Lakeside Septic in the morning and by the early afternoon, he was at our house. He inspected the tank and showed us what the issue was and how to correct it ourselves in the future. We really appreciate him being able to come see us that same day. He was very helpful and answered all of our questions. It was a great experience for a first time septic tank homeowner! Thanks!

First of all, the overall service was great. From a service perspective, I would highly recommend Lakeside to anyone looking to have their septic tank pumped. Rick provided information, insight and things to consider to help us determine what needed to be done and the options that we had open to us based on what was found after the initial diagnosis of our problem. He was punctual and provided the service we needed. We went with Lakeside based on the rating from Angie's List and the recommendation of 2 other companies that I called on a Sunday who didn't provide the services I needed, but suggested a company that could - Lakeside. Rick called me back on a Sunday and asked if I needed him to come out that day - but it would be an additional $100 dollars for a Sunday job. Based on where we were at that time and the information that he provided, we chose not to do that. Later that evening, he texted me to follow up to see if I wanted him to come over in the morning to take a look (and I thought) pump my septic tank. When he showed up the next morning, he provided the inspections, gave me some options looking at best and worst case scenarios and then left for the rest of his work for the day, with the expectation that he would come back on Tuesday to complete the services we discussed. He came on Tuesday, and provided those services and everything was fine - expectations met with courtesy and professionalism. Until the time for billing came. In that, what we did not get (and hence the overall rating) was transparency. We were not informed of a $95 "service call" fee during any of our conversations or text messages. We were not told of an $85 per hole digging fee ($170 added to the bill overall) in any of the discussions that we had during the initial inspection. So while I would recommend Lakeside to anyone needing this type of service, I would suggest getting an estimate IN WRITING prior to any visits or work done.

Rick was very punctual and came on Wednesday to assess our situation. We called him because the septic system backed up and flowed out of our first floor bathroom. Rick showed me where each access should be located, loaned me his digging bar and said that he'd be back, first thing the following morning. I dug the three access covers up that were located exactly where I was told they should be. The first stage of the tank looked as though it hadn't been pumped in a long time, possibly never, and it took a lot of work for Rick to work the sludge to a point where it could be extracted. However, it still didn't work so we dug up the intake and Rick cleared the plugged inlet. We are now up and running and are very appreciative for Lakeside Septic. Not only did Rick do a great job, he educated me on my septic system and how best to care for it. We will certainly hire Lakeside Septic for our next service!

The waist was pretty solid and it took five back flushes to loosen and clear all of it out . He worked about 2 hrs. He told me The worst that can happen once this is cleared out. Very likable explained what he was doing and the workings of the septic and its system. I learned something as wall getting my tank cleaned. and wont let it go as ling again.

My call was returned the same day and Rick could have come out within a couple days (it was not an emergency). Instead, I chose a morning about a week away that was best for me and he was able to schedule me then. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and was professional. I don't know much about septic systems and he was patient answering my questions and didn't make me feel stupid about asking. I will definitely hire him again.

Drains were backing up and we needed service immediately. Rick was able to come out within a few hours. Dicey backing his large truck down our narrow drive but he was able to do it without damage. Did a great job. I was surprised at the price ($700 for septic and pump chamber) but I didn't have a chance to shop around. I suspect that's the going rate now? He did a great job and, assuming he is charging the going rate, I would have him back and recommend his work.

The appointment took about two hours. It was painless. Rick did everything. Also, we have a very steep drive, but Rick made it up to the top. He ensured that he parked his truck on leveled ground to pump the system effectively (again, this is something I knew nothing about, which Rick explained). I highly recommend Lakeside Septic.

Our septic tank was pumped out. The owner told us one tank had never been cleaned out even though we were under the impression the previous pumping company had taken care of this for us. This time the work was done correctly. He even took measurements and provided us with a drawing of the location of our tanks for future reference.

I was so very impressed with the owner of his company. My home is very difficult to locate; he called just as he said he would, at the time he indicated he would, etc. He located the "cap", dug it up and when he was done, recovered it all with the dirt and grass so you can barely tell he was there. Rick was polite, appropriately dressed for the job, and charged me less than what he originally quoted. The thing I appreciated the most was the advisement about what to do in the future, and why, along with the fact that he didn't try to sell me any extra services or supplies. I highly recommend the use of this company!!!

house just sold and I needed the septic tanks to be cleaned. He called right away and was able to do the job quickly. He also found an inspector for the final sale that was also required. He was professional and efficient. He explained what he did and informed me that I needed a new outlet filter. The cost was worth it and the sale went without a hitch.

Rick arrived in the middle of the window I was given, and promptly got to work. He was very friendly and was able to answer my questions without them slowing him up. He explained how certain things worked and what to watch out for seeing as this was a property I rent out. In the end I got exactly what I paid for and it occurred when it was scheduled. I would recommend Rick to anyone who needs septic work.

He arrived on time, clearly communicated what he would do, took the time to teach me how my tank works, and how to identify problems. My tank was slightly damaged, but he did NOT recommend repair or replacement even with the likelihood of an insurance claim. He clearly documented everything and cleaned up the area well. I will definitely recommend and use him again.

Rick responded quickly and got me on his calendar within two days, which was great. He's honest and straightforward and as this was a new house for us, I didn't have the septic specs, but he figured out what kind we had quickly. My only request would be that when the need to dig arises, taking care with removing the sod in as few pieces as possible so that when we fill the hole back in, the grass goes back on cleanly. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, and the service was excellent.

I would definitely use them again. They gave me lots of good advice for maintenance of my septic and how to deal with some root intrusion into the sewer line. He was very professional.

We contacted Lakeside base on its stellar reviews. In the end Rick said "I can't make money digging" and we had to go elsewhere. Rick was responsive and straightforward. We never talked price and so I'm not sure he can't make money digging. I'm a senior citizen and digging needed to be done and I would have willingly paid for it.

Things turned out great with them. They just responded our way when we called them and took care of the problem. They just were very professional. Their pricing was fair.

I called around and Lakeside was the most professional and competent-sounding of the bunch. That, combined with their Angie's List score led me to choose them for the job. Rick arrived on time and got to work right away. He expertly positioned the pump truck and ran the hose around the side of the house to the septic tank out back. While the truck was sucking out the tank contents Rick was cleaning everything with a hose. He cleaned the filter, and took the time to show me how to do it. I was interested in how everything worked. I'm a) an engineer, and b) from a place where everyone is on a sewer. I had a lot of questions! He took the time to explain the finer points of how everything worked, and gave me a lot of good info on how to keep the tank and drainfield trouble free. I felt that the price was reasonable - he was the only person I called that would give me even a ballpark 'guesstimate' at the price. He quoted me a starting price of approximately $450 for a 1000 gallon system: as soon as he saw it was a larger, less-common 1250 gallon tank (with some blockages) he gave me a firm price of $500 plus tax, which seemed more than reasonable to me. All in all, I'm delighted with the service. Rick is a great guy: I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, or recommend him to others. Cheers, Dave

Our service call with Lakeside Septic went great. Based on a prior experience with a different Septic company I wasn't expecting too much today but Rick from Lakeside showed up on time, was personable, efficient and positive. Our tank is located somewhat far from our driveway but Rick didn't mind hauling the hose a long way or feeding it (carefully - thank you!) through our shrubs. He provided great service and I was pleased with how he explained the system to me. We will definitely call Lakeside the next time we need our septic tank pumped or serviced.

Things went great. They did all the work that we asked them to do. They did it fast. It was very pretty good. I was very satisfied. I have used them before when we bought the house. We called them again. They worked really great. They were on time and professional. They were very respectful of the area. They didn't damage any lawn area and didn't damage our plants. They were very careful in putting harps and things to make sure they were covering things up, so it didn't get damage. The price was off the estimate and that was because I wasn't entirely clear on how septic works. They came right away with the estimates.

I have used Lakeside Septic for 20 years, He has always been on time and done a good job.... would use no one else.

It was great. I need a little bit more work so he got the people, the person out here to finish that and it was a really good experience. He was the one that would talk to me on the telephone and give me the estimates and stuff immediately.
