King's Drywall was awesome. They were on time, very courteous and respectful of our space, and most of all did an excellent repair job. I was expecting the repair to be less than perfect since our drywall had a bit of texture over the top of it. The job that King's did, however, was impeccable. The texture was matched perfectly, and you can't tell that a repair had been done at all. If I ever need drywall or plaster repair work in the future, I'm not even going to bother calling someone else.

I was given an accurate estimate, they made an appointment that was within a couple days on the phone and he showed up exactly on time. He did such a great job, the patches are not visible. I was truly amazed that there was virtually no dust. I have used King's Drywall previously and the dad (Dave?) did the work. This time the son did the repair. I was always happy with the dad, but am delighted to see that the son, Randy is a master as well. On top of their expertise, they are also very nice. I would surely use them again, even if I had to wait.

Very responsive to original call, provided accurate estimate, came back to start and complete job. Quickly done so I didn't incur add'l charges due to time.

King's Drywall was contracted on 6/29/10 to repair and apply a light knockdown texture to 4 bedroom ceilings after removal of popcorn ceiling. King's contract states that Any alteration from the specifications listed in the contract will be executed only upon written orders and will become an extra charge over and above the estimate. There are no initialed alterations of the original contract that states a light knockdown texture. Drywall repair was to my satisfaction however the texture that was applied was not what was stated in the contract. A small sample area was sprayed, I was told that it would dry flat however it did not dry as stated. A large amount of drywall dust was left on the floors of all 4 bedrooms for me to clean up. Kings Drywall agreed to come back and retexture the ceilings per the contract on 7/12/10. Stated that he wanted to be sure that his customers were happy with the final job. Retexture was postoned until 7/13/10 due to other customer's needs. Arrived on 7/13/10 and stated that he would not sand the existing texture or prime but would only respray on top on the existing texture. I was originally told by Kings Drywall that the old texture must be sanded and primed before the new texture was applied. When asked about this issue, King's Drywall abruptly walked off the job stating that he would not retexure although he was being compensated for the retexture. The delay in getting the ceilings textured has caused unecessay delays to other trades, painting, new windows, and installation of wood floors. Definately would not use this company again.
