Met with Jose (estimator/owner) and we discussed the job, he gave me an estimate on the spot, I agreed and his crew showed up an hour later. 2 guys did all this in about 2 hours and cleaned everything up. They did an excellent job!

They did an excellent job. My roof looks awesome. Two guys showed up initially to do the work then Jose showed up a little later. they spent about three hours doing the work. It would have taken us all day long so it was well worth it. They also did a great job in cleaning up afterwards. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

Jose from J and J roof cleaning was a joy to work with. He cleaned the gutters and unclogged the downspouts that were backing up causing overflow. When the job was done there was no mess. Jose is very detail oriented, and I am picky when it comes to my house so anyone who works on my house must do a near perfect job in order to win my business again. I won't hesitate to call J&J roof cleaning in the future and have actually passed their name on to a few friends at work.

Jose was completely professional and respectful in dealing with me. I started out looking for someone to power wash the cedar roof as that was the method we used previously in 2007. Jose very carefully and patiently explained to me that the whole roof cleaning industry has moved to using high pressure compressed air instead of high pressure water. He explained that the air method is far less destructive to the cedar fibers and that power washing actually removes a tiny layer each time a roof is cleaned that way. His quoted started at $1,300.00 with a $200.00 additional cost for each bundle of shingles. My roof did need some repair and it took approximately 2.5 to 3.0 bundles. The last time I had my roof cleaned there was a big mess, this time there wasn't a trace of dirt or debris anywhere. They did a very professional job.

The first thing that I noticed is the excellent equipment Jose owns. It is very clean and appears to be well maintained. I believe the way he maintains his equipment is how he cleaned my roof-- After the roof was cleaned , the area around the house was spotless. I would highly recommend Jose. He is busy but will get back to you if you call.

He returned my call and arranged a time to meet to discuss the job. I waited and he never showed and never called back to reschedule. Jose called later and apologized for forgetting to come by. He came by the next day and we scheduled the job. He had to reschedule but offered me a 20 percent discount. Even with the scheduling difficulties he was pleasant to work with and provided excellent service.

They were able to squeeze me in to their tight schedule to meet a closing deadline (home was sold and this cleaning was part of the inspection request). They had a crew of 3 guys and they all worked hard to get the roof and siding completely cleaned of all moss! They were also the least $$. They arrived at the specified time, set up, and cleaned up completely when leaving. I will keep their number and use their service again!

Jose drove over in July and provided a competitive quote. (A competitor had quoted more than $2500.) Jose's advice was to avoid treating the roof in the summer, given that high temperatures would weaken the shingles. So we waited for a cool day in late September. When Jose came, they did a great job in cleaning the roof and cleaning their mess. The only issue I would caution about is that his high-pressure air system is strong enough to blow dust through tiny cracks into the attic or house. It is probably due to this as well that he refused to perform work on a hot day when shingles were weakest.

Everything went very smoothly. Jose, owner of the company, was punctual, very informative about what needed to be done. He explained that he would do an Air Brush cleaning of our roof, preferable to high pressure water wash. It was his recommendation that this was the best way to go in order to preserve and not damage our roof. Our roof looks great. Another contractor that we asked for an estimate, never even went up on our roof and didn't tell us that we needed 3 new vents. We highly recommend J & J Roofing!!

I called 4 service providers to quote this job. Only two came out to quote. Jose met me at the home and discussed a range of approaches, and came to agreement on what work would be performed. He was running about two weeks out in scheduling. The scheduled day it was pouring rain heavily and I was almost expecting a call canceling. To his credit, he showed up a bit late due to horrible traffic (weather related). He explained that they could clean in the rain, but could not apply the moss treatment that day. He said first dry day they would be back He and his crew performed the cleaning and cleaned up leaving no traces in the bushes or yard of all the moss removed. First dry day was also cold, he showed up only to realize the roof was too frozen, so he said he would return on a warmer day. I had not paid Jose yet, he would not take payment until the job was completed. Fast forward 6 weeks. Jose calls the day before as said the weather looked good for the next day. He arrived a few minutes early and completed the job as agreed upon. . Jose was professional, courteous and flexible. He said what he would do and did what he said he would do. Those are big in my book and worthy of mention. I feel good about recommending Jose and his crew for you roof cleaning project.

We had an 8:30 appointment but there was a heavy frost that morning and Jose did not intend to come at 8:30, but did not let me know. There was frost on the roof and it made sense to wait until the afternoon, but I didn't realize that and had to call to make sure they were coming.That is the only thing that could have gone any better. The service was excellent. Jose and his partner spent two hours cleaning the roof, applying moss preventive treatment, and thoroughly cleaning up the debris. I couldn't be happier with their service. Jose is friendly and polite and took the time to explain moss buildup and treatments to keep it in check.

The overall experience was great! We bought the deal on a Sat., got a call the next week and scheduled a day and time that fit my schedule. They arrived on time, completed all the work as advertised and left my roof clean and treated and the surrounding area clean. Jose was polite and professional. I would definitely recommend this company for roof cleaning and treating!

Jose came out with a co-worker to clean our roof. They both did a very good job- even polished up the skylights. Certainly next time we'll be calling them back. They did such a good job, for days after we caught ourselves smiling while we looked at our roof! Thanks guys!

I will save you time and effort by telling you NOT to call any roof cleaning company except for J&J Roof Cleaning Service. Jose personally showed up to give an estimate for my parents house. He then called with a great price and a date that the work could be done. He showed up on that date, did the work quickly, and cleaned up the area around their house better than it was before he started working. I handled most of the contact with Jose because my dad was reluctant to have someone else do his roof cleaning. After getting the estimate from Jose my dad finally agreed to get his roof cleaned and treated. When the work was completed I received two phone calls, one from my father and one from my mother. Both of them were raving about the work, professionalism, price and clean up from J&J Roof Cleaning Service. They were very happy and relieved. I have never written a review on Angies List before this one, but my mother insisted I get on and do it quickly. Thank you to Jose and his crew.

Jose was very customer service friendly. He came out and gave us an estimate. We asked for a senior discount (it's hard to believe how the years have passed.) He was very nice and we came to a final price. He accomplished everything per quote and we are very satisfied with the results. He was a little late showing up, but I am very grateful that he was. Since, I was not ready and we had skylights that needed to be cleaned!

The service call went well. He needed to schedule me out about a month after I bought the special.

Jose does excellent work for a fair price. They thoroughly removed all the debris off the roof and gutters using a trailer mounted high-air pressure hose and water hose and then treated the roof for algae. Then they cleaned up all the debris by air blowing and rinsing all the gutters, exterior windows, decks and patio. The house looks great. I have used their service before after seeing how well they cleaned the neighbor's roof and will definitely use them again.

They did some cleaning of roofs in our cul-de-sac and we asked them to bid our roof as well since our roof needed the work and we liked how our neighbor's roofs turned out. The bid seemed reasonable so we scheduled a time that was a couple weeks afterwards since they were booked until then. That was fine with us. They called the day ahead to confirm that we still wanted the cleaning done and arrived on time. Our roof had not been cleaned since before we bought the house 2 years previously. It took a couple of hours since our cedar roof had so many needles in all the cracks. They were very thorough. I appreciated that one of the workers cleaned all the exterior windows on the first floor that were soiled by the cleaning process. I was very proud of how my house looked afterwards.

This is the second time they have cleaned our roof - very punctual and they did a great job. They are VERY diligent about cleaning up around the house afterwards!
