Because power loss is common in my area, my concern was power surges when the utility is turned back on. After reading a number of electrical contractor reviews, I decided to call In-House. The primary contact, Lucas, was very helpful and he scheduled Chris to come to my home to review what I was looking for and to provide a price. Chris was very cooperative listening to my request and he had some very good suggestions. The price to install two (2) surge protectors, one for each panel, and to reconfigure a few breakers, was $700. There was some work required of me opening up the wall to expedite the installation. I was more then happy to help. The installation was clean, well done and the price was reasonable.

In House did an excellent job, they know the codes and what was required to bring this old home up to code, Even pointed out an area that was not on the work list from the Inspector, but needed to be addressed. They were punctual, pulled the permits needed and got the job done all in one day, ready for inspection

I was very pleased. I was prepared to have to go to a on-off switch without the timer, but he was able to restore the one I had messed up instead. He also checked my breaker panel after I asked him a question about something not related to the timer - and relieved my mind on that "problem". He was on-time, professional, courteous - all that you would want with someone coming into your home to perform a repair.

They were reasonably priced, fast response, and very professional.

Performed the service and Chris did a very professional job.

Called and explained problem. Was told someone would be out later that day, and was given a window of arrival. No one showed up, nor was I called to be told that there was a delay or problem. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Lucas arrived within 1 1/2 hours from the time I called him. Determined and fixed the electrical problem for my hot water heater in about 1 hour.

I suffered a "tree fall" on my power line during a wind storm, which literally ripped my electrical meter and the exterior conduits from the side of the house out into the driveway. In doing so, the power wires were exposed and started a small fire where the wires went into the home. There was no power in the house and the inside temp. was 47 degrees. I called 4 electricians ( out of Angie's List) on a Sunday and left messages. I received a call at 8 a.m. on Monday from the owner of IN-House Electrical Services ( Lucas). Non of the other electrical outfits called me back except one other at about 10 that day. The lines coming into the house were literally ripped out of the side of the home , with some wires pulled from my inside circuit box. Patrick, the operations rep. came out, did a survey and let me know with a phone call what the cost would be minus an Angie's List Discount. I accepted on a verbal and they commenced work the next day knowing I was without heat, hot water, the ability to washclothes or have personal showers. Adam worked solo the first day - very professional. The next 2 days, it was Adam and Brett and both were super professional, worked very fast and took the time to explain what they were doing. On the 3rd day, it was the Operations Rep, Patrick and Brett reviewing the work and insuring it would pass the state electrical inspection. All were upbeat, very professional and as the Operations Rep. said, " We don't fool around." They are spot on and do a very professional job. Price is up there, but I would think generally competitive and the quality of the work is outstanding. They "say what they mean, and mean what they say."

This is the second time that I called them. On both occasions they were prompt, efficient and professional in all respects. I would call them again for any job, small or large. For this particular job, even though it turned out to be quite simple, they charged their minimum service call fee, which is quite understandable.

Fixtures and switches that were replaced have worked with no issues. Was very pleased with how he took time to explain to me how I had wired one timer correctly, but could have done something better. I believe he is also the owner of the company. Not often do you have the owner come out to do work. I appreciated him taking the time to explain things and make sure they were done correctly

They came out and they did their job like they were supposed to. They sent a quote that I thought was high so I went with another but other than that, they did pretty good. They went through and looked on what I had and said what needs to be done to get it certified. I'm trying to get an electrical certification by a certified electrician. They were, clean, neat, prompt about coming out, they gave me good information and I had no complaints.

Lucas called promptly the next business morning to schedule an appointment. All proposed dates were possible and we selected the earliest one. David came out and performed the service as advertised, fixed a faulty GFI, listed items to resolve and gave estimates on additional lighting options. He was on time, very thorough, friendly and easy going. And he took his shoes off without prompting, which was appreciated but not necessary.

Showed me how to reboot our outdoor outlets that were all not functioning. Also showed me how to get our outdoor front lawn lamp working properly. Was on time, efficient, professional and friendly.

Handy Electrical Services was great. They called to schedule our inspection right away. Our electrician showed up on time (this NEVER HAPPENS with electricians), was polite and happy to help, fixed all of our stupid switches and rewired things so that the light to the stairs turns on when you.... wait for it... use the switch beside the stairs. This might seem normal to you, but it was a revelation to us after a year and a half of trudging up and down the stairs in the dark. We know our home is do for a full re-do of our circuit breakers, so we got a quote for that. It's something we have to save for, but it'll be worth it when we do it, because we won't have to worry about overheating our circuit board.

Patrick came the first day to inspect the old electrical wiring in my attic after the insulation was removed due to a rat problem. I was told it would be a flat $100 charge. I asked him if I could use my $89 Big Deal coupon, explaining that I also wanted a dimmer put on an electrical switch in my dining room - he said yes, but that the dimmer would be an extra $30 for the equipment. He needed to remove the old wiring from the attic and didn't have time that day so he scheduled another one of his electricians, Chris, to come the next day to complete the projects. Chris came right on time the next day and was totally professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the dimmer switch he had brought turned out to be in the wrong box so his apprentice had to go out and buy a new one. I gave him my Big Deal coupon and he called the office to ask if it could be used. Lucas (in the office) said no. When my bill was completed it came to $230. I'll definitely be calling Lucas in their billing office to ask why there was such a big difference in what Patrick quoted me and what I was actually charged. But in the meantime I was unable to use the Big Deal Coupon.

In House was brought in to rewired the lights and outlets for my kitchen remodel. While they were here, we decided to have the electrical panel replaced for an additional $1500. Our house is 45 years old and the old panel was original equipment. Not to mention that 40 years of home owners doing it themselves and the wiring was less than optimal. Adam found three circuits that were wired wrong, added new circuits, ran all new wiring for the lights and outlets. Plus, he ran speaker wire, Ethernet cable and coax for the entertainment system and outdoor speakers. This was way more (and better) than I expected when we were planning this remodel. Really great job.

Fine. The electrician installed the surge protector; offered a few suggestions for future work; cleaned-up and left.

Contacted Lucas, the owner, who replied promptly and was able to create appointment for me the next day. Adam arrived on time, for estimate, wrote everything down, provided estimate and no question was small enough, very patient in answering all my questions. On day of install, Chris arrived on time, respectful in taking off shoes, done all items asked, on time, perfectly, and cleaned up any mess he may have created. Everything works excellent and I'll be calling them, again, when I have additional lighting/electrical tasks.

Preston was AWESOME!!!! on time...actually early. Very friendly, professional and got the job done quick. He knew exactly what the problem was with our GFI's and fixed it all in less than an hour. Would definitley call them again...very happy and pleased with the service and cost.

The work has been done in phases to accommodate my schedule and needs. In House Electric has been terrific. Patient and responsive. They are, and will always be, my preferred electrical contractor. Rock solid expertise and reasonably priced.

Patrick promptly returned our call, quickly arranged an appointment, was prompt to arrive and quickly resolved the problem. This is an excellent company to perform any electrical services and we would hesitate to call on them again for any future electrical service needs.

The In House Electric team was great to work with. They were on time, sufficiently quick, clean and neat, and priced right.

That was a good experience. I was just really impressed. He knew exactly what he was doing. He was efficient and polite. He was prepared to do everything. He came in and found out for me what I needed done. He made some notes, went out, got his tools, came in and checked everything I wanted checked. He made some recommendations and replaced what needed to be replaced.

They were fine. They came at the right time. They suggested a cost after the inspection, which I thought was too high, so I did not end up using them.
