Description of Work: They seem to be harvesting info for future marketing and upsell opportunities. Called them, need emergency service, they said they offered that and quoted a price. I agreed. Then they collected name, address, phone, email. Then they said they would call back with the time. Then they called back an hour later and said they couldn't come out until the end of next week. It would have been nice to work with an honest contractor that had said they weren't available, that way I could have spent that hour finding someone who was. I don't like that bait and switch sales process. If you are not available, just say so....

Description of Work: The service representative was right on time. He did a thorough inspection of the inside heating/cooling unit, and inspection of the outside heat pump. The results were a suggestion for a replacement of the heat pump outside unit which I was unable to do at this time. I am completely confident in the suggestion I was given (as it confirmed previous advice), so I feel this company is trustworthy, and will have my business in the future when I decide to replace the unit. I believe the attendant was named Jordan, maybe Justin (not sure because he forgot to leave me a work summary). I know the amount for the service work is correct because it was in my check register. Make sure you ask for your copyof the bill, which I forgot to do.

Description of Work: Tech was scheduled to come the next morning but called and said he could come within a half hour if I wanted him to come that night. Since my heater wasn't working, it was great to know I would have heat that night instead of waiting until the next morning.

Description of Work: Once we got on board things went well. The first month was horrible we never connected I would take off work three times and no show. However not all the problems were there fought in the beginning. All the work was completed to our satisfaction .

Luckily, my insurance agreed to use them because the pricing was great. They were very professional and I absolutely will use them again in the future.

Description of Work: G&S has been servicing our furnace for ten years. They are always quick and do great work. I will continue to use them in the future.

Description of Work: We bought a Heat Pump from G&S in 2005 but had numerous problems. G&S was always quick, helpful and gave us large cost breaks because it shouldn't have been such a problem. After several breakdowns, they contacted Lenox and pushed Lenox to replace our Heat Pump for free (lemon law?). Since the furnace we had didn't fit with any new Heat Pumps, they also replaced our furnace. We had to pay some minimal labor costs, but it's a great new system that doesn't break down and saves on monthly bills.

Description of Work: changed my electrical panel from fuses to a circuit breaker box. There were complications due to the construction of my home, and ultimately we had to make a major adjustment and place the box outside.

Description of Work: Inspected furnace, found it to be producing carbon monoxide and replaced. I've had a 20 year relationship with G & S Heating. When I had a house constructed 20 years ago (1992) they put in the furnace and heat pump . They performed annual maintanence and in the 15 years that I owned the house I never had a heat or cooling problem. My current house was only 10 years old furnace was installed by builder and not maintained and had major problems right away so I contacted G & S to start a maintanence program and they probably saved our lives by locating the carbon monoxide problem.
