Description of Work: I used Berkey's initially for my new HVAC system a little over a month ago with excellent results and during that transaction I signed up for their Club inspection service for plumbing and electrical (as well as A/C). Today's service was for my Club inspection for both electrical and plumbing, so two different teams came out. Both times, the office called me to let me know the team was on their way and followed that up with a text and email that included a picture and bio of the service person. I appreciate knowing who will be coming and having that "heads up" as to exactly when they will arrive. Both teams were extremely professional and explained what they were inspecting and made suggestions based on that. They are VERY low pressure on selling, which I appreciate. The plumber fixed an issue with one of my toilets and did a great job (and didn't leave a mess!). The electrical team gave me an estimate for future lighting work that I have planned and were very knowledgeable in their suggestions. Both teams followed up with emailed reports/invoices/quotes. I highly recommend this company. They are professional and do what they say they will in a timely fashion.

Description of Work: Installed an air conditioning unit. The unit works well. The garage part of the unit was put in on the bottom of the furnace thus making the cleaning of house ducts extremely difficult.

Description of Work: I was pleased to find and use an Angie's List coupon with G&S Heating (Thank you Angie). Justin was the technician that came out to trouble shoot a problem with our furnace, he came back the next day with the part to fix the furnace. Justin was professional, courteous, on-time, and had a very positive attitude. He left the area better than when he came and went above and beyond with his customer service, which was excellent. I would give him an A++.

Description of Work: Why was it so much? Well let me explain...it's not them it was us. lol | |On Thanksgiving day our furnace went out after 18yrs it finally went bye bye. We chose G&S based on a neighbors recommendation and the guy on call came out really fast. | |Long story short they came out to do a quote and while they were there we started to ask him questions about upgrading to have AC and then a tankless water heater which lead to a garage heater for my husband and then a generator for when the power goes out. Once we got the quote we decided to move forward. As we would then be ready for cold, weather, hot weather and power outages. lol | |The first day went well, but the second day was a total disaster! I won't go into details but it was bad enough that I took the rest of the day from work so it wasn't just my husband having to deal with the problems that transpired that day. | |The team they originally sent weren't very professional and didn't really seem to know what they were doing. They were more concerned about doing the job quickly vs. doing the job right. After voicing a strong complaint, they sent out a different crew the next day. | |Jonathan and Manny who were awesome I have to say. They took their time and did things like you would expect them to be done. G&S also made it right by giving us a credit towards future service calls for the furnace and AC unit. | |I didn't give them an "A" overall because of the issues we had in the very beginning, but I would still recommend them, because they did make everything right and didn't back down from making sure it was done correctly and that we were happy.

Description of Work: Replaced broken furnace, excellent work, efficient workers. Very pleased that they followed up the next day and worked with electrical inspector to find a mutually agreeable time for inspection.

Description of Work: We had a very positive experience from start to finish. We are very happy with the new Lennox furnace and thermostat. Our home is much more comfortable than it was before having the work performed.

Description of Work: In early December I called several electrical contractors from Angie's list ,only one G&S Electrical of Everett WA would agree to come to my home to look at my burned out 30 yer old wall heater , and then only two weeks after I called. I tried to explain that my heater was very old , and a replacement would probably not be available in any stock. I suggested a diagnostic visit. Three weeks later ,they sent two electricians with stock heaters. The elecrticians confirmed what I told the company on the phone. They said a replacement would be available in 3 or 4 days and asked for a $300 deposit , which I paid.On the next business day , the company called back and said a replacement woud not be available for two weeks.That kind of slow confused service is about what I would expect from any run of the mill disinterested contractor to provide to a small time one off senior citizen. Four weeks without a heater and a $500 bill to boot. I was expecting Angie's List to be better in both price and service, but I guess not.
