Awesome, incredible service.

G&S Heating was able to fix the major problems, the dropped our heating bill from about $450 down to $200 per month. Although the system isn't perfect yet, we have a plan in place to get there. The big thing, G&S Heating was willing to work with us to create an affordable plan and perform the work on our terms. The quality of the work is absolutely fantastic and equally important they did not disrupt my family at all. During the three days of work they took the time to make sure our home was cleaner then when they started. I absolutely recommend G&S Heating to anyone who tells me they are in need of work done on their home.

I chose G & S because I read such great reviews on Angie's List. My experience with them was amazing from start to finish. Nate sold us the heat pump and he was very knowledgable, and he walked us through the process and explained how we would save money in the long run with this unit. I even received a handwritten thank you card in the mail today. What a nice gesture! I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family in the area!

We have a yearly service plan with G & S Heating and Air Conditioning.

I was very happy with them. They did a good job and were very prompt with their responses. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The work was excelent. The workers were always on time, frequently working long hours to insure they stayed on schedule. Even though there was a lot of old shingles etc under the old blown in insulation they cleaned it all up. They monitored the work being done, retested the system and where they determined the work was not up to their standards, corrected the situation. All of this was done within their original quote.

G&S Heating installed an entirely new furnace & heat pump system in our home in 2006. It was a difficult installation, which stopped the previous owners from pursuing a contractor to have the work done. G & S’s employees were all courteous, considerate, and professional. They did their best to address any questions or issues that we had concerning the installation. There was one lingering issue that G&S continued to address until it was brought to a satisfactory resolution. Roger, the owner, was very open and willing to discuss anything and gave immediate attention to the situation at hand. He was willing to go beyond my request to ensure that we were more than satisfied with the final product. Thank you G & S for being such an honest and friendly company. Standing behind your workmanship and guaranteeing satisfaction is highly unusual these days. We can certainly see why you have been in business for so many years and we can definitely recommend your company to anyone that asks.

Rhett arrived on time, was very professional and friendly. He gave my furace a good check up and shared helpful information about the quality of my furnace, how long it should last, if the vents needed cleaning, and he checked the water heater, too.

They got it all set up. They were very efficient and very polite. They were always on time. I would give them four stars as they did a great job. My overall experience with them was excellent.

The work has been fine. They are prompt and the staff is nice. They seem to know what they are doing. The furnace works and I haven’t had any major problems so they must be doing their job right.

From what we have learned, they were not real good with diagnosing our problem and what we needed. The house is not set up so well so it’s hard for the air to circulate. We have two floors and we found out that our downstairs there is no return at all, so it is a dead space with the air. We have been pretty frustrated with this company. We have a current contract with them and are probably going to switch. We have had other companies that have came out and looked at our situation to help give us some advice. They also had sent someone out to do the maintenance work on our water heater and the man who came out admitted he didn’t know too much about water heaters.

The work turned out just fine. They were pleasant to deal with and nice about calling and reminding me it was time for me to have this done again.

They were good. They showed up when they said they would. They inspected the house to tell me what I needed to do. They got a price back to me right away. They have a good reputation.

We have been in contact with them since the time they installed the furnace, because we have had problems with it. They have been absolutely fantastic in their follow up. They came out whenever our heat did not work and got it taken care of. They worked with the maker of the furnace to identify some issues as it was a new model that Lennox just released. They got updated parts from Lennox and came out and installed them in our unit. While all this was going on, I told them that I didn't want this furnace anymore as I had paid a lot of money for a good furnace because this was one of those 98 percent efficient ones. They told me to let them do all the work and when it is all done and if I still don't want it, they would tear it up and put in whatever I wanted and give me the difference in the money if there was any difference. I was convinced that they got everything updated and repaired and fixed appropriately. They provide a ten year parts and one year labor warranty with it and I asked them to upgrade me to the ten year parts and ten years labor. Now if anything goes wrong with the furnace for the next ten years it is covered. I had a meeting with them and Lennox that they set up and G&S was proactive. I got the extended warranty and on top of that, I told them that although I have a extended warranty, I still don't want to go through two to three service calls in a year even if it is free. G&S said that they will write on the warranty that I have more than two service calls in a year and if I want to get rid of the furnace, they would tear it down and replace it. I can’t imagine anybody being any better about something like that. The final fixes on the furnace have been done for a couple of months now and we have had no problems at all. We have used them for years for maintenance on our other furnace and we liked them all along and we were really pleased with how they stepped up to the complaint on this issue. I am not sure I got the best deal in the world in terms of price, but it was okay. So far the quality of the furnace is average but I think it will move up because I know the company does good furnaces. I think the quality of G&S is surely good.

I was shocked when I received the initial bill of over $200 for the service, not including what would have been $40 for the 4" filter. In attempting to resolve this matter, I have now been given 3 different figures as to what constitutes their minimum charge for work done. It is either $195 per hour as was first quoted, $160 per hour which was their second suggestion, or $105 per hour, billed in 15 minute increments, which is apparently possible too. It is clear to me that this company charges whatever they think the market will bear. G&S made little attempt to finish the job, preferring to simply send invoices. I would like to warn other consumers to stay away from them if you don't want to get overcharged for routine work...I only wonder now how much I overpaid for the initial furnace installation, but that is sadly water under the bridge... Tech showed up promptly. Called him the previous night and he said it would be about $50 difference to come at night vs morning. Gave me the rundown and answered some HVAC questions I had, very friendly. Price was high although quite lower than other companies. The technician was very prompt and up front, no hidden fees and very punctual. Would do business with them again.

They showed up on time and were very professional. I got the estimate for a furnace and their price was bit higher than where I ended up going. Also they didn't include the model number of the furnace and didn't give me a quote on the duct work. I didn't follow-up though, as I had picked someone else out already.

Their pricing was in the middle of the other companies. They offered a quality product. The estimator was knowledgeable and showed up on time. However, he did attempt to up sell me on items I knew I did not need nor want. I opted not to choose this company based on the price and the product line.

NOTHING REALLY STANDS OUT. THEY WERE PUNCTUAL AND THEY DID WHAT THEY CAME TO DO. THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING EXTRA. IT WAS FINE. THEIR PRICE WAS COMPARABLE.

G & S HEATING IS WELL KNOWN FOR THEIR HONEST AND QUALITY SERVICE, WITH BUILDERS AND HOMEOWNERS. THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE ALWAYS COURTEOUS AND PROMPT AND ARE WELL TRAINED IN THEIR FIELD. WE CONTINUOUSLY USE G&S HEATING FOR ALL OUR NEW AND REMODEL JOBS.

THE OFFICE SCHEDULED A TIME THAT FIT MY SCHEDULE. THE SERVICE PERSON WAS VERY PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND WORKED VERY METHODICALLY CLEANING AND MAKING SURE THE SYSTEM WAS RUNNING EFFICIENTLY.
