The quality of the work was excellent and I thought the price was excellent. It's quiet and easy to maintain. We have an air cleaner and we have dogs and cats and the air cleaner does a wonderful job. The price was right there where I figured it should be.

I didn't have any complaints. They came out on a repair issue on an item that broke and they did the installation right away. They were very responsive and easy to get hold of. The price was average.

Awesome customer service. We have had everything from annual maintenance to a new 10k furnace and every time they remove shoes and clean up after! I feel like their price on equipment (the new furnace) is high and we could have saved a lot at Costco but we have established a relationship with these guys and trust them. If you are lucky maybe you will get their BEST technician "Jeff" (I always request him). He always takes the time to answer questions and explain.

Billy was awesome. It was very comfortable having him here and he did all the work we needed done. I'd definitely use them again.

The service person arrived on time, and closed the gate behind himself, as he wasasked to do. He located the problem quickly, and showed us the bad part. At this time he recommended that the out side grill work needed to be cleaned. We agreed that it needed cleaning badly. He changed the inhouse filters, cleaned the out side unit as wellas replacing the faulty part. We were totally impressed with care and explanations given by the serviceman. Our heat pump is almost 20 years old. I feel that we will have to replace it in another couple of years , and will go back to them for the replacement.

As usual for G & S staff, all went well. They initially installed the unit for us in 2009, & have done whatever has been required ever since. They are punctual & professional. Besides our heat pump, when installed, they also installed additional required ducting in our home. We also have a Kohler generator that they sold & installed for us. Works great too (when we lose power). Preventative maintenance is once annually, & it is performed by G & S staff. Additionally, they have done electrical work for us in the past, installing outside lights & inside lights in one of our outbuildings & a whole house surge protector in our home's breaker box. There may be something else that I can't recall, but, bottom line, if it's heating, cooling or electrical, G & S is our source.

We were researching heating and cooling system installation companies in our South Snohomish County area on Angie's List. Near the top of the list we found G&S Heating with excellent reviews. We have lived in the area for 20 years and see their yellow trucks all the time. We contacted Nathan to find out what kind of air conditioning we should be looking to install. He came out to our home within the hour and and went through all of our options. We have a 20 year old multiple story house with the Cadet type in wall heaters,so no duct work to use for cooling. Nathan recommended that we go with a ductless system designed for our application. The fact that ductless systems are very efficient to operate was intriguing. We agreed on a price, and they got to work ordering parts and setting up the installation for 6 days later. We were not tolerating the heat very well at the time, so they expedited the job and we really appreciated that! The system was installed complete in one day and works very well. The installers and electrician were polite and courteous during the installation. They left no mess behind at the end of the job. I mean none!

Service technician efficiently diagnosed problem with a/c and fixed it with suggestions for future maintenance .

The electrician, Billy, from G&S Heating, Cooling, and Electrical did an excellent job with the circuit breaker installation and the service line repair. He was very knowledgeable and provided very good information on the state of the existing electrical panels/line and on the work that needed to be performed. I will use this company again for future work.

Roger Thompson-the owner of the company called and came out this morning and did a fabulous job of service recovery. He apologized for the communication problem and came to the house and bid the job himself. I am anxiously awaiting his bid and will probably use them for this job.

We were very pleased with the G&S Electrician, Billy, who came to our house. My husband accidentally damaged a ground wire on our natural gas meter right before we were about to head out of town for vacation. G&S replaced our furnace months prior to this work being completed. We were very impressed with the G&S excellent customer service, quality product and incredible technicians and support staff! After the ground wire was damaged, we decided to have G&S folks complete some electrical chores around the house. We knew it would be done right the first time. When my husband gave them a call, the rep answering the phone was very knowledgeable and courteous. She had decent technical understanding of all of the work that we wanted done and asked intelligent questions. She scheduled an electrician to come out to the house quite promptly and on my schedule. When the electrician (Billy) came out, I was very impressed. He noted the work that needed to be done but made a suggestion that saved us about $300. We had purchased a ceiling fan that did not have a remote control. He suggested that we could buy one with a remote control and that it would save us money in wiring costs. That impressed us because we did not have enough knowledge to understand our options. Billy fully explained our options and had the availability to come back later in the week after we bought the proper ceiling fan. He also suggested that we install three GCFI outlets that would make our house safer. We had been meaning to do that for months but procrastinated. Billy and his friendly, hard-working apprentice Reiley installed the outlets and repaired the ground wire on the first visit. Billy and Reiley came back two days later to install the ceiling fans and the window air conditioning unit. All of the work was done correctly and quickly. They were also on-time for both appointments. I never had to wait around for them like so many other service providers. A rep even called me back after a few days to follow up on the electrical work completed. We had plenty of positive comments! We have more work that needs to be done and plan to call G&S Heating whenever we have heating or electrical issues. We plan to have them replace our aging hot water heater when the time comes as well. It is a relief to know that we have a solid company to turn to! G&S Heating/Electrical recommended us to use Angie's List for all of our contracting needs!

My bathroom fan was not working and called G&S heating, cooling, electric. I called and got a next day appointment and they showed up on time. They quickly determined the problem wasn't with the fan it was with the electrical system in the attic. I live in a duplex and the only access to the attic is in the other unit but my neighbors weren't home. G&S was able to reschedule for the next day and again arrived right on time. Once they had access it didn't take very long to correct the problem and they were able to fix two outlets in addition to the bathroom fan. They were professional in every way and I wouldn't hesitate to call them again.

We had looked them up on Angie's List and our next door neighbor also used them and that reinforced our decision to use them. Their price was more than competitive and they were also very professional and punctual. We did not have any complaints about them. We will see them again because a recheck and cleaning were also included in the price.

Better than I expected. Service was excellent and generous with their time. Very communicative and professional.

We've used G & S Electricians previously to replace the electrical panel were pleased with the service. Billy arrived on time while the contractor for the sump pump was at the house. He was very respectful and worked well with the contractor. He was professional in manner and dress and came across as happy to be servicing our house. Billy worked effiiciently and had the job done in minimum time while making sure I understood the steps he was taking. I appreciated his suggestion that minimized the cost of installation. G & S being able to schedule the appointment at the same time so to minimize my travel. I would definitely use G & S again.

John was a no call no show, for our appointment. I called the office to see where he was. The receptionist took my name & number, and she said someone would call me back - but nobody did. I guess it's a good thing I found out about his service before I paid him. I took time off work and lost money out of my pocket for nothing. I guess it's back to the drawing board, to find someone to clean & repair the air ducts in my home. This is a follow up review on my comment from 06/17/13. The owner Roger called me to apologize, for his tech not showing up for his appointment. He said they have been having computer problems, and his workers couldn't get their work orders or appts schedules. He has offered to do my duct cleaning for free, give me a fair deal on my repairs, and a guarantee someone would show up to evaluate the project. Roger seemed sincere, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt, and give him a 2nd chance. To resolve the issues the company ended up coming out and giving me a free duct cleaning and fair deal on the repairs. The technician was courteous and professional.

G&S rep Nathan did thorough inspection of our cabin and filled me in on what needed to be done. The heat pump installer and the crawl space contractor also visited to go over what needed to be done. A week or so later I met Nathan at his office (my idea, he would have come to my home) and went over all details and the financial options that were available to us. We set a date for the work to be done, and although it was a big project , the crawl space renovation and heat pump and furnace installation were done in two days. We were grateful that G&S knew of reliable a carpenter and crawl space contractor as we live about 50 miles from Seattle, 15 miles west of Stevens Pass, and it is not easy to find good workmen who will go there. All works very well, and Nathan visited again after the installation to be certain all was OK and answer any questions we had. We were very pleased with the quality of work, the complete explanations that were given throughout the process, and the professionalism of the staff.

7/2/13 UPDATE: G&S got my heat pump system installed about a week ago. The install went well, the crew was professional and neat. Then last Friday they came out to inspect the install and make sure any questions I had were answered. Highly recommend G&S for work. UPDATE: Roger, the owner has contacted me and has 100% resolved my concerns from earlier. That's not something you see often from companies these days and I commend the company for their interest. Date of Service: Went well, two electricians came right on time and spent the day going through the list of items that the home inspector had found plus other things I wanted done. Very happy with the work they did. As a ps, I will be using this company to install my heat pump at the home.

They were fantastic. I especially want to point out one of their technicians, Willie. They came out when my heater went out and it was cold. They didn't charge me an emergency fee. They were able to get it back on line very quickly. It went out directly after that again and they came back out with no charge. They were very professional and thorough. They gave me a better understanding of my heating system. He told me about all the options that were with it, what the strong points were, what the weak points were. They just made me a better informed consumer.

Technician Doesn?t know what he is doing. It is totally waste of money and time. Did miss diagnosis, told us switch is broken. Luckily they did not have in stock. So I call other company who has switch in stock, but it was not problem with switch it was broad problem. Update on 6/21/13 Owner of G & S responded to my review and refunded service amount. As per owner, it was a technical error. He showed very professionalism / Responsiveness in dealing this error. Based on it I am upgrading to C from F

Made the call, scheduled the service between 2 and 4PM, he was here by 2, finished and gone by 230PM. Quick clean and professional. Made it look easy and I suspect I would have killed myself trying to do it on my own.

The heat pump install went without a hitch. The generator install was more complicated and we ran into some problems but the owner Roger was very responsive and professional and got the job done. I would defintely use them again. High level of integrity and someone you can trust without concern.

Scheduled for 2pm. They called at 3:12pm saying that they are running late and will try for 5pm. They called at 5pm asking to see if they could stop by at 6:30pm. We've been waiting all afternoon and have other important things to take care of to complete our house move. Our first impression of G&S thus far is that they operate with poor time management and are very unprofessional. We'll try another electrician. It's very unfortunate because we selected them based on their high feedbacks and honor and did not receive good punctual service.

I am a fairly new home owner and I am still learning everything necessary to up keep a home. I was having a problem with my furnace. It was blowing cool air, but not heating the home. I had called other professionals on Angie's List and did not have a great experience with them. I thought I would try G&S Heating and they answered the phone right away and told me that Keith was going to be at my home in hours and that he would call when he was on his way. That is what happened. It turned out to be an easy fix. I had not changed the filter in my furnace. I simply didn't know to change it. This is my first home. Keith was really patient and explained what to do if something like that happened again, and that it would be important to have everything service in the spring and fall. Overall, I thought G & S was friendly, fast, and reliable.

In the morning while I was blowdrying my hair the lights in my bathroom, bedroom and hallway went out and none of the outlets in those rooms worked. I tried flipping the circuit breakers but that didn't work. Someone from PUD came out and determined it was not a problem with my breaker box. He suggested my husband should install a new outlet in the bathroom. I couldn't wait all day for my husband to get home and fix it - long story but I needed things working asap. So I watched a bunch of youtube videos, went to Lowe's and changed the outlet myself. Didn't work. So I called G&S. I actually called another provider first but they couldn't come for at least a week. G&S sent someone out within just a few hours. Billy was really nice, professional, and informative. He found the problem (which wasn't the outlet) and fixed it quickly. He was really thorough, clearly knew what he was doing but wasn't the least bit condescending (sadly I find a lot of service providers to be condescending) and careful to clean up his mess. He also said I should feel free to call him if I ever had an electric problem and if he could save me $ by talking me through something over the phone he would. I really appreciated that and I expect I will call him at some point! I highly recommend these guys for electric work and will call them again should the need arise.
