Great; They were out here extremely fast when our original system started having trouble to diagnose it; they outlined what had died and what it would cost to fix and also outlined that it might be more cost effective to replace the old system. They also let us know that PUD has a $ 3,300.00 incentive program to help pay for it; After crunching the numbers we decided to replace the entire system rather then throw good money after bad; They had PUD calling us the very next day to do a home inspection to verify that they would help pay; Three business days later they were here installing the new system which works great; All of their guys were very professional and friendly. They were very careful to not let our rescue dogs out of the back yard which I very much appreciated; They all took their time to do it right and the finished installation looks great; the new heat pump is much quieter then the old one plus they had discovered during the tear out of the old piping that the original piping to the heatpump was kinked:( Other then the fact of having to spend the money it was a great experience overall and I highly recommend G&S Heating;

Replaced screen and pump. It was professional and competent service from beginning to end. The right questions for trouble shooting the problem. Follow up to be sure all was performed correctly by Jeremy Brockman - this guy really knows what he is doing.

G & S were able to get to us the same day we needed to install new appliances but couldn't, due to an electrical outlet location issue. While they were there, they answered a lot of questions for me unrelated to the work at hand and did a great job while on site. Would call them again in a heartbeat.

In fixing the humidity device, the service guy mentioned that the filter was leaking and needed to be replaced. I thought he would take care of it or let me know how to get a new one. I later left a message for him to clarify and did not receive a response. Disappointing since I was looking for a long term furnace/water heater company to replace Bel-Red Heating.

G&S installed a mini-split and heat exchanger in our home last spring, to replace an old electric furnace that was no longer economical to use, maintain or repair. The first install was problematic due to a manufacturing defect, so G&S replaced it immediately, with one that worked. The second unit began to produce the same issues the first one did when the cold weather hit, so without hesitation, G&S replaced the unit with a higher grade make and model with no extra cost to us, the homeowner. There was never any question, G&S were like family. Their priority was our satisfaction and it was obvious from the start. Roger Thompson was involved from the start, in making sure we were satisfied. G&S went over and above the call of duty and they earned our respect, admiration and future business. We have a few rentals and a retail building, so you can be sure they get first crack at any repairs, upgrades or installs we need. Thank you Roger and company.

Very professional, straightforward serviceman. Found no issues with the system. Summary report was thorough and easy to read. We knew the system was in good operating condition, but were nervous about the technician inventing problems. Glad we paid a little more for an honest outfit.

I had a bit of trouble with their initial visit, but they came back and 100% fixed everything. Nice guys. They seem to really care about doing a good job.

Came when scheduled, called before arrival, wore their booties on my wife's carpets, cleaned up and executed exactly what I needed to finish the job. A great relief to know we are safe and the job well done.

I have been a customer of G and S heating since 1998. They installed the furnace, gas fire place, and hot water tank when my condo was built in 1997 and I bought it new. I made an appointment with G and S Heating after noticing that my furnace was not working. I have an annual service agreement with G and S, but the annual service was not yet due. At the initial service call the repair person diagnosed the problem as the pressure switch needing to be replaced. Although he did not have the part for my 16 year old furnace, he was able to order the part, let me know when it would available, and how much it would cost. He also provided information and pricing on a new programmable thermostat which I elected to have him install. I was called when the part arrived and was able to schedule installation for the next day. In both cases, the repair person confirmed the service appointment, provided an ETA, and showed up on time. Repairs were made quickly and efficiently, the service provided was explained, and the charges explained ahead of time. My contacts and interactions G and S Heating both calling the office and working with their service personnel have always been friendly, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend this company.

I noticed a burnt smell coming from heating ducts. I shut down the furnace, so was without heat during a recent cold snap. G&S came out, diagnosed problem, ordered and replaced the burned out blower motor. All the customer service folks I spoke with in the office were very polite, responsive and accommodating (Anna, Virginia, Candice). I called at the end of the day and they got a technician (Willy) to come out the next day. Willy was prompt in arriving, quickly diagnosed problem, wrote up the estimate and answered all my questions. Ordering of the part was expedited and two days later, once the part arrived, another technician (Eric) came out in the evening after normal hours (at no extra charge), stayed late to complete the installation, which was greatly appreciated. I was grateful for the fast turnaround and their willingness to go the extra mile to squeeze the job in as soon as possible, since it was below freezing outside and I was out of heat. Good service and experience overall. Would use G&S again.

We have been a customer of G&S heating for almost 20 years. They provided installation of new heating/air conditioning service in a home we built and we have continued to use their services for maintenance. When we moved into another home 12 years ago, they provided free consultation services to us to analyze our current system and provide suggestions for better distribution of heat throughout the home and improved efficiency. Their service technicians have always exemplified promptness, professionalism and expertise.

The first time a G&S technician came to do our inspection, he informed me that our type of furnace was built to use a thicker, longer lasting filter. There was no pressure to buy a new one, he just wanted to let me know that there was another option to consider. I decided to let him replace the filter with is recommended one ($40) and it definitely made a difference in reducing the amount of dust in my home! I love that he saved me money I would have spent buying multiple filters that don't work as well as the one he provided. Now, I just have the tech install a new one with each inspection. Everyone who works for G&S is responsive and polite. We participate in their annual maintenance contract and have been completely satisfied. I highly recommend G&S in Monroe, WA!

He arrived on time, and performed the work needed. No complaints about the work, and we now have our kitchen hooked up to the transfer switch so our fridge can run through a power outage (yay!). The thing I found odd was that the very first thing he did as he got out of the truck was he started to tell me how much it was going to be, and that I had to sign something before he'd even start to look. I actually said to him "I have to pay you before you'll start??". I didn't, but the way he phrased it made me think I did. Anyway, I think the service charge may be a teensy bit high considering that he was at my house for about an hour, and no parts were provided, but, that said, it may well be in line with other electricians, and I am happy with the quality of the service performed, and would call them again in the future. I feel he was really thorough, as he made sure that no other necessary items had been removed from the switch due to his work. He also was really nice.

I woke up to a furnace not working - I looked at the company's information that had installed our furnace looked them up online. They have a "online" chat option on their website. Once my information was transferred to the office - I got a phone call from Roger. He gave me the answering service phone number. He instructed us to call him back if we were put on hold for a long time. - I don't consider 10 minutes at 8:00 am on a Sunday a long time. They took our information and within another ten minutes the on-call tech called us. From first getting on their website to we had someone at our door was 2 hours. And this was a sunday morning during Thanksgiving weekend. turns out it wasn't serious and was a quick fix - very reasonable price

We are getting excellent heat flow from an old system by sealing the seams on the pipes. Worth the cost. I would recommend it. G & S sent a service person to survey they need, submitted the price and the work was done on time. A good company. I would recommend them.

I have been using G&S Heating for around 2 years. They always call and schedule the maintenance with me so I don't have to remember when it needs to be done. They show up when they say they will, get the job done & let me know about any issues. One less thing for me to worry about. The one time there was an issue outside of the regularly scheduled maintenance, they told me what to do over the phone, then came immediately and took care of the problem.

Upon first contact, G&S Heating, Cooling,& Electric, Inc. determined that space limitations for new furnace installation would play a large part in determining what system would best meet the heating requirements of the home. This process required a high level of experience and knowledge on the part of the technicians to be sure that everything fit into the space available. After the furnace was selected they dismantled and removed the old furnace and discovered evidence that the old unit was severely damaged by virtue of it's old age and that there had been serious unknown fire hazards that we were able to avoid. After listening to our concerns about heat distribution in the home they recommended adding a second cold air return pathway and modifying the plenum that had been installed with the original furnace. The new duct work was fabricated at G&S facilities and returned when the new furnace was installed. The technicians were made aware of certain concerns we had about how the whole unit would fit together in the space available and they assured us that once finished we would be satisfied with the solutions they proposed. The job was completed on time and within our expectations. All of the employees were very careful about keeping clutter and work spaces orderly and clean. They took measures to avoid tracking debris into and around the house and wore paper booties over their work boots to make sure the areas they worked in were kept clean and presentable. The new furnace was equipped with a modern and up to date filter that has needed to replace only twice a year. We were also advised that the furnace has air circulation setting that improves the air quality and heat distribution if it is set to run 24 hours a day. We have followed their suggestion and have found an improvement in equality of the temperatures throughout the house. Once the final installation was completed we were given the opportunity to become a Pre-paid customer (PPM) which we took advantage of. Follow up visits have been completed each year since the installation and we have enjoyed the same level of high quality service and attention to detail. The most recent inspection and filter replacement took place on April 4,2012 and everything checked satisfactory. In a recent telephone contact G & S Heating made us aware of the opportunity to join Angie's List customers and we pleased to accept the invitation at this time.

My latest service with G&S electrical was associated with a bi-annual maintenance plan that I have set up. I love the plan, because it gives me peace of mind that my heating/cooling system will remain reliable. The service person arrived right on time and called in advance to let me know he was coming. He did his work quickly and efficiently. Afterward, he briefed my on what he did, and what his observations were about my furnace. He also mentioned some options for filtration. I appreciated hearing the options, and told him I wanted to think about it. He was very courteous with the response. Now that I have had time to think about it, I have decided to pursue a more enhanced filtration option. No pressure, just facts and data, and superb attention to detail. When he was done, the service man cleaned everything up and went in his way. Just superb! I also have had my water heater replaced under emergency circumstance, and G&S responded within 24 hrs, and the installer did a superb job with that as well. I had an electrical box and conduit reworked to support my hot tub. The prior installation by another electrician was very poor. G&S redid it all for a very reasonable price, and the work was so obviously superior. Bottom line, is that I trust G&S. They do what they say they will do, they do it with professionally, and with a pleasant delivery. The pricing is very reasonable, given the high level of service, quality work and responsiveness. I have used G & S heating, cooling, electric for several years now, and they consistently do an amazing job. Although I have had different service people come do work, they are all equally professional! They always tell me what they are doing, and what the outcome is. I always like hearing about potential risks and options as well, but never any kind of pressure, just honest communication. It is one of the few businesses that I feel like I have a relationship with. I'd recommend G&S for anyone.

The Heat pump purchase through G&S was a great investment from the old clunky power hungry furnace where my bills were high and during the summer resorting to small AC units simply were not doing the job. The Heat pump maintains a great temperature throughout the year and during those HOT days nothing better than sleeping in a cool house ^_^ The G&S Techs come every 6 months and are always timely, informative, and provide great information about the care and maintenance of the Heat Pump unit. The saying an ounce of prevention is worth the small maintenance fee to ensure a healthy unit for years to come. The overall G&S experience from sales to service I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

Showed up on time, fast and friendly!! He told me in the beginning what he thought the problem was but continued to do the tests and yep he was right...Needed the valve replaced

I recently bought a property with a geo-thermal heating/cooling system. I was originally contacting geo-thermal servicing companies to have someone come out and give it a "once over" to make sure everything looked good with the geo-thermal system for the autumn and winter... but soon discovered that the heating system was not working at all! I worked with two companies before calling G & S Heating to come out. Both of those other companies I would give the grade of F-. One company said they had helped the previous owner install the system--then proceeded to feed me totally factually INCORRECT information about the system in great detail (they said it was an open-loop system called a "pump and dump"... it is NOT... it is a closed system). The other company had so many scheduling problems (I would call and they would not call back... we would schedule a time and they would cancel), but I was trying to stick with them because they were close in location and I didn't think I had any other options. They came out and couldn't diagnose the problem, they had me dig up some of the buried system and things started getting very complicated. They came out twice--my system was left in a non-functioning state over the weekend--and when I called them again the next week, the guy was gone to Alaska--they said they would "get something scheduled for the next week"... yeah, right... I'd already been down that road for weeks with them. I discovered and called G & S... they scheduled the service for them to come out within 2 days--Willie came out ON TIME when they said they would, and Willie went to work. He diagnosed that the problem was the thermostat within 30 mins, and thoroughly inspected the system to ensure that no problems existed elsewhere. He replaced the thermostat, tested the geo-thermal system and said all the metrics looked very good. He was a total, consummate PROFESSIONAL. Wow. Nice work, Willie. Everything I encountered in dealing with G & S was totally top notch--even when I dropped Willie into the middle of a complex situation--he excelled with ease. Super awesome company; would recommend.

Service technician Jeremy Brockman performed the annual A/C maintenance, including changing-out the pure air filtration system for my allergies. As always, very professional and efficient - takes off his shoes when entering inside and no evidences of him having been here, except for the completed work! Heating is also an annual maintenance and we will see him again in another 6 months.

We had experienced several electrical circuits winking in & out without the breakers tripping. Our worry was that their was an issue with wiring inside the walls. Upon calling G&S, Anna was very sympathetic to our concerns and quickly arranged to have an electrician divert to our home within 90 minutes. I was impressed that G&S shared our sense of concern and prioritized this work order. The G&S electrician, Billy, arrived quickly as promised and immediately inspected our main panel and meter. He also asked specific questions about what we'd experience. Billy quickly eliminated the possibility of interior wiring issues and then inspected the outside wiring from the house to the pole. This involved following the line across our wooded lot. He confirmed his suspicions that the outside supply wire had failed splices and pointed these out to me. The explained the electrical details of what had occurred (loss of phase on overhead service) and how it manifested itself in our circuitry winking on & off. Billy directed us to then contact PSE for repairs to the outside wiring. He took the time to write out for us exactly what to describe to PSE when we called them. This is our second experience with G&S. In each case, they've been prompt, gave an up-front quote of the anticipated work. Completed the work in a timely manner, with a very competitive price for the services. In this instance, an electrician could have easily "padded" the work without us knowing. We really trust G&S, are very satisfied with both their office & field staff, and highly recommend them!

I had been having trouble with tripping the breakers in 2 areas of my home. The owner and an electrician came out to try to trouble shoot the issue. They decided to create some new circuits to bring both my kitchen and main bathroom up to code. I didn't have to wait too long to schedule the job, which i really appreciated. Billy and his partner arrived on time, and did a very good job. They cleaned up very well, and I have been extremely happy with the work done. I will use G and S for my furnace tune ups and with any future electrical jobs.
