Looks great and price was as quoted. Tech was on time, polite, discussed options for repair and what is standard service.

First we had CM Heating service the gas fireplace in our newly purchased home, as we couldn't get it lit. They had to do significant cleaning. We used them a week later to replace the current hot water tank with a tankless. To claim tax credit we needed the work done within 3 weeks & they managed to fit it in. The final wall sealing required a special fitting, which another staff member had. As the weather was very cold, they ensured it was delivered and installed with in 24 hours, even though it meant a late night trip for one of the staff who had worked all day. The gas fireplace needed to be relit afterwards, which no one initially remembered. When we did so, CM Heating sent people out twice within 24 hours in order to catch us at home and relight. They seemed to have the magic touch - they did the same thing we did to relight, but succeeded where we failed. Staff were always courteous, even when they were obviously tired. They explained things well, kept us informed, and even pointed out surprises - like the fact our garage walls had no insulation or sheathing under the siding.

TERRIBLE!!! I got other estimates, but these guys were available sooner, I should have realized why! We agreed they would replace all ductwork with new, but they ended up attaching to ancient ductwork, & then told me I had to hire someone to clean it. They didn't insulate the ducts, so had to return once to finish that. I noticed later they forgot to attach to all of the room vents, so had to return again to do that, but "couldn't find them" (!) so had to return again to get it done! So, 4 visits, & scheduling of the return visits was difficult. Later I had the ducts cleaned & the technician pointed out that CM had installed the wrong filter(too small) in my brand new furnace!! During my project, employee working with me quit, another lady took over & was very angry & defensive. Months later, they had another mix-up and called to confirm my fireplace install, and didn't believe me when I said they'd finished my FURNACE job long ago, like their bookkeeping is completely messed up. Wow!

They called me and gave me a good bid. What I liked the most was the really good price they gave me. Apart from the leak, everything was great so they did not have any trouble. I would hire them again.

Overall problem was quickly diagnosed. New part was needed, so return visit was scheduled for next day. However the technician never showed up. When called late afternoon they said "we forgot". Technician did arrive and fix the issue the next day. However I had to call them in the late afternoon to find out the status, they never bothered to call me. Also the technician did not leave any paperwork as to the final cost after the fix was done. I had to check with the credit card company to see what was charged. The issue with the furnace was fixed though.

NEITHER SATISFIED NOR DISSATISFIED. PRETTY NEUTRAL ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. GOOD ON TIMELINESS. WAS WILLING TO HANDLE SOME PARTS OF THE TRANSACTION ON THE PHONE & FAX SO THAT I DIDN'T HAVE TO TAKE A DAY OFF WORK.

THEY DID A PRETTY GOOD JOB, I HAD TO CALL BACK SEVERAL TIMES AND HAD TO CHANGE THE APPOINTMENT ONCE. THE WORK WAS PERFORMED IN A TIMELY FASHION BUT WAS NOT UP TO MY EXPECTATIONS.
