CM Heating

We got them off Angies List. We were told that we needed a full replacement part and they came out and did a thorough check up and cleaning on it and all we had done was a cleaning and a little magic of theirs to get the connections done that were stuck. We expected to spend $300 to $500, but we ended up spending a little over $100 because they did not try to dupe me. They were extremely prompt and knowledgeable and very friendly and professional.

I needed several heat ducs moved on short notice in the middle of our kitchen remodel. They were able to come to my rescue the next day. They were professional, very prompt, worked efficiently, kept the area clean. They gave us a cost estimate for the job. They made some suggestion for other things they noticed were of conern.

Very excellent. I highly recommend the company and have already recommended to our next door neighbors who need a new furnace.

Prior to selling our home, we had to get the gas fireplace working. Replacing the thermopile myself didn't correct the problem so I called CM Heating, who had replaced our furnace two years earlier. The service tech found the gas valve was bad and replaced it. The tech arrived within the time window quoted by the office and took care not to damage the surrounding furnishings. I'd use them again, except we've moved out of their service area.

Got me in the same day very good service, Emily was the deceptiveness.

THE JOB WAS DONE ON TIME AND ON BUDGET. THEY WERE HERE WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE AND WE GOT WHAT WE HAD AGREED ON. WE DECIDED ON A TIME AND DAY AND THEY WERE HERE ON TIME AND DID THE JOB ON TIME AND WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK.

I met Heidi and Rusty at the Everett Home Show. CM Heating had the nicest booth there - and the best customer service. I rec'd a follow up phone call a few days after the show from Heidi, and booked Rusty to come take a look at my hot water heater and furnace. He showed up on time and had a great sense of humor. After reviewing our options for efficiency, we went with a tankless hot water heater and a Rheem furnace. Eric and Jess installed the furnace, and Kirk installed the tank - all in one day. They were all courteous of the kids and pets inside the home, and showed a great sense professionalism. A few weeks following, I had them back to clean out my duct system (I had a $30 off coupon). Kevin an his asst tech showed up at 9am sharp, and began the process. A few of the registers were not accessible, so I wasn't charged for those. Overall, I am SO GLAD I did this. The allergies have been down, and the dust in the home isn't anywhere near as bad. We recommend these guys to EVERYONE...

I WAS SO IMPRESSED WITH LYLE, JESS, AND ERIC WHEN THEY CAME TO INSTALL OUR FURNACE RECENTLY! YOU ARE EXTREMELY FORTUNATE TO HAVE SUCH A CONSIDERATE, HARD WORKING CREW OF INTEGRITY WORKING FOR YOU. WE WANT THEM AS OUR HVAC TECHS ALWAYS! THEY EXPLAINED THINGS CLEARLY TO ME AND WROTE IT ON THE BILL SO MY HUSBAND WOULD KNOW WHAT THEY SAID WITHOUT ME TRYING TO TRANSLATE. WE ARE SO LUCKY WE FOUND YOUR COMPANY RIGHT UNDER OUR NOSE!

Got an estimate for heatpump. The estimate had wrong model number. There also was a 600 dollar math error . Had a question 3 days after receiving estimate called and never got a return call concerning question.I did receive a call about a week later wantng to know if I was interested in them doing the job.

They are a very good company. I had an old heater that was sort of thing that could be unrepaired. When I had them for a yearly check on it they would replace wires for free because it was so old and didn’t need much care but it was cost free just because it was so old. I got a new heater but I didn’t end up using them because I went a new system that another company had more experience in.

CM Heating showed up and their tech talked to us for a few minutes and quickly assessed the situation and then got right to work. A couple of hours and it was up and running!

On time, called the day before to remind of apartment service that very knowledgeable demonstrated how to adjust features of the fireplace. Replaced parts.

A small family business based in Everett but covering the majority of Snohomish and King County - focused on providing exceptional service at competitive prices! Their website is easy to navigate and very informative. With my first phone contact (the gal who answered the phone, was very pleasant and always so well mannered), and I was quickly connected to their Sales Department. Once we determined my needs, a Salesman (Rusty) came out the following day, and a quote was provided - and the installation of our new water heater and furnace was scheduled for the following week. The installers (Lyle, Cory, and TIm) arrived on schedule, were courteous and very knowledgeable, and a few days later the installation was professionally complete! I would strongly recommend CM Heating to anyone for their Heating and Air Conditioning needs...!

One thing that is very good was that they gave a flat rate quote and the actual bill was exactly what they quoted. I have no complaints whatsoever.

Tom came out to fix the fireplace and light the furnace and wound up selling C & M Heating. He was nice, professional and clean. Went the extra mile to clean and repair the fireplace and arranged for Rusty to come out. These guys worked with my needs and followed up through the installation and some problems to get me an efficient effective unit.

We bought a bank owned house with a non-working furnace - which we knew going into it. CM Heating was who the realtors (ours or the bank) had called for an estimate along with a few others and they had the best timing/price combined. They came as planned to install the furnace but ran into issues with the electrical. They offered to call out an electrician who was able to come out same day (while these installers continued with other aspects of the installation). The electrician came out and determined that we had some sort of wonky electrical issues (yay new house) and while the power was on no problem, the issue was simply in turning it off. In the end we opted for a new electrical box just to be safe (so yes yay new house - but nothing to do with the furnace at this point - and we did like their electrician referral and continued to use him). The installers continued and at some point they broke something with the furnace they were installing and determined they'd have to get a new part and couldn't finish that day. Ugh. Ok - not a big deal. We'd had our own delays as a result of waiting for the electrician so we understood. The electrician however confirmed it was not electrical but "those guys don't know what they're doing" or something along those lines - in refernece to the installers. Fast forward a few days - due to birth of our child, my father in law came over to supervise the next step in fixing the furnace. This was the point where they'd get it working - again no major issues. They apparently got it working and we had a furnace - yay - we can turn off all those heaters in the dead of winter. Now we moved in about 2 weeks later (yes we moved with a newborn and 19 month old - fun stuff) and discovered...a giant gaping hole in the furnace where they'd cut in the wrong spot, etc - you could feel air. Also, we went to change the filter - since we'd been doing a ton of construction and had a newborn we couldn't be too careful. We open up the little door and low and behold the filter is just sitting on the bottom of the furnace doing NOTHING with no where for me to put it!! So we call out CM and ask them to come out to fix this stuff. They come out I think a few days later - don't rememeber if it was fast or slow. The guy who comes out seems to know what he's talking about - he basically says - wow they did a terrible job with this install - yeah no kidding. He uses duct tape to seal up the holes which ended up being around 2 or 3 of the sides - even more than we could see. He then says they need to call out a retrofit expert to fix it and to rig something to get the furnace to hold up. Unbelievable. So then we have this guy come out - keep in mind again BRAND NEW FURNACE - and we have a retrofit guy?? So yes he finally fixes it -seems to be the guy that shouldn't done it in the first place. I express my dissatisfaction about the fact that I've had now 5 guys out (i forgot to mention above that they didn't install the thermostat we payed for so they had to come out again to do the thermostat). This guy seems to be in the know and I ask him what he can do for me given the terrible job they've done - we were considering adding a gas fireplace or a heat pump - etc and while I'm torn about dealing with this company ever again - I was interested in what they might offer to compensate for the situation. About 30 minutes later I go down to check on the progress and all is coming along and he says "I checked on all the visits you've had and it's really because you have electrical issues SO IT'S NOT OUR FAULT." Blood boiling. Won't ever deal with this company again. I had to come do this write up even now a year later as they called to try to sell us a furnace check. Yeah. Right.

The crews were prompt, courteous and very professional. We will definitely use them again in the future. We plan to call them when it's time for our next furnace servicing. The only reason for the lower scores on 'Price & Quality are as follows: Price - I probably just don't like to spend that much money at once. LOL Quality - Upon installing the drip pan under the water heater, the edge was crushed some. It more than likely functions well, but ascetically speaking it is ugly when looking at your shiny new water heater. But I didn't say anything at the time, so perhaps it's not really their fault. I'm just saying (as we walk by this every day, it's hard to ignore). But I mean it when I say I'd call on them again. Great service was rendered, especially in today's environment.

We built this house about 15 years ago and they were the original contractors. We have been pleased with them. They did all our heating stuff when we originally built the house. The general contractors sub contracted out to them and we were happy with them. They come out at least once every two years to clean the furnace and the fireplace. They send out different guys several of the times, people we did not know but the service has always been good. Overall I do not have much to compare them with. Price wise we had three bids and CM Heating Inc was 30% less than the other companies. Quality wise we have not had any problem. As for responsiveness, we called and they were out within a day, they gave the bid and when we told them to do the job they were out the following day and did it. They were very punctual. They knew what they were doing. Anytime they had to come into the house they took off their shoes and put on their booties. They were very careful. I will use them in the future. I will be calling them next fall to do the furnace again and if I were to replace the furnace they would be the ones I would probably use.

All I have to say is very professional and I would highly recommend them. Stopped by after getting a PSE referral to ask about a gas fireplace replacement. They promptly set up an appointment for Paul to come out and look at what I had. After he came we went over the pros and cons of my existing fireplace and he showed me some brochures of newer models with the price. Since the original gas fireplace was outdated and not efficient we decided to go with a new one. Only hold up was waiting for the fireplace to be in stock, it had to be back ordered. Had I known that I may have gone with a different model. Work went as advertised it was actually done a little quicker than expected. I think the major hold up was waiting for the inspector to come and sign the permit. Was very please with the overall project. I had to call them to come back out few weeks after it was installed and Paul was available right away. Great service, I will use them again.

This Company uses sub-contractors to perform the actual work. So you never know who is going to come out and perform the work.The last time we used their service they sent out this husband and wife team. They started to work and then abruptly stopped and claimed in very dramatic fashion that our chimney was in dire need of a chimney liner based on their "visual inspection". They did not charge us for the work we did but left us "scary" brochures about chimney liners etc. Obviously I didn't fall for their scam and know that we didn't need one based on my own experience in building chimneys and the fact that my chimney is totally surround by brick, then concrete blocks and then the terra-cotta liners. My chimney is not up against a wall. If there was a chimney fire it would totally be contained within the chimney. So watch for the scams about needing liner or a crown seal. If the Chimney Sweep Co is not certified by C.S.I.A. ( Chimney Safety Institute of America) then don't use them. Its been 3 years and we have had no problems other than making sure we get it swept once a year.
