Great experience from start to finish. I was contacted right away by Shawna to confirm scheduling of one of three dates and times I had specified on my online request for service. Since this was a special deal for two hours of work, I provided Shawna with a prioritized list of projects and she confirmed via email. Travis, the handyman, arrived as planned and even called when delayed in traffic. Travis was very professional and quickly assessed my list of projects and went to work with the materials that I had supplied. He replaced a bathroom fan and two wall electrical outlets. One of the bathroom fans required more than a simple replacement so Travis helped me evaluate the project so that I could discuss options with spouse later that day. I felt very comfortable with having Travis in my home and he worked hard for the entire two hours. He did not have time to get to everything on my list so I am considering getting a quote for additional services later this month. I received a very nice follow-up email from Shawna along with an invoice for sales tax not prepaid. Overall, I'm very happy with the handyman services provided by Chinook Services.

A disappointment I assign to Angie's List was to come home the day our driveway and front walk/steps were to be cleaned by Chinook - and find that only the concrete steps and walk were done. Chinook earns an 'A' here for not doing the driveway, because evidently asphalt should not be pressure washed (another poor grade to Angie's List 'deals' for encouraging this vendor to NOT reveal that in the deal details). Another 'A' to Chinook for emailing back and forth about our options, and offering to put down a driveway coating for an extra fee - which would allow us to complete the pressure wash - if we provided the materials. Driveway looked great after their pressure wash, and I got some buckets of driveway seal from the home store. Must ding Chinook a couple grade points here, because after reviewing online videos about how to seal a driveway, I learned that proper prep includes addressing any cracks and divots with different products & allowing that to cure before the seal coating was put down. NOTHING about that type of prep was brought up or addressed in emails with Chinook about time, materials I should get, etc. (and by this time I considered them the experts). If I hadn't researched the job, I have no idea if coating would've been just applied without any prep other than the pressure wash they did. Scheduling the work became more complicated - largely for weather reasons, but when a window came around, evidently there wasn't the manpower at Chinook ("I'm trying to find a volunteer but..."). So we ended up doing the driveway seal ourselves. Also hired Chinook to do siding wash on the (2) 2-story sides of our daylight rambler house. More scheduling issues; Jay was pretty good about communicating why it wasn't getting done, but we were supposed to get info once the guys were on site about whether the final cost would be at the higher or lower end of his quote. No such price confirm, and the bill was at the max quote, 1.5 hours @ $270 plus tax. He said $85 worth of wash product was used and offered to back off the tax, but I felt I could've purchased Chinook's 8 hours of handyman for $299 and gotten the wash plus some other stuff done.

They were just awesome. Shawna was extremely helpful as I asked a bunch of questions about what they did and what my options were. The team showed up right on time and were exceptional. Very friendly, hard-working, thorough, and fair. All our windows look fantastic and they did a great job on the screens, too. We will us them for many more things going forward. Can't recommend highly enough!

In both cases, they showed up early, which was not a problem (they offered to come back if necessary). For the wall repair, & weatherproofing, the service man checked out what needed to be done and made a short trip to a hardware store to get the proper materials needed for our particular repairs. He then patched the wall and weatherproofed the door. The patching looks very good and the door is now draft-free. Both the wall repair and door weatherproofing required being a bit innovative but he was able to do it and did a good job. The gutter cleaning was just a matter of getting up to the gutters and cleaning them. I haven't inspected the gutters for obvious reasons but they were efficient and did the work within the estimate.

Cory and Ryan were very hard working and pleasant. They did a great job.

I bought the Big Deal for $99 and scheduled the service through Angie's List, providing them with 3 dates and times. They responded promptly and scheduled me for one of the times I had listed. A few days before my appointment, I received an e-mail listing what I needed to do to prepare for their services (e.g., move things 15 feet away from areas to be worked on). The 2 men team arrived on time and immediately notified me that I would need to pay an extra $85 due to the square footage of my house (which they had checked with publicly available city records). They clearly explained what they did and found (some potential leaf blockage in an underground connection at one corner base that they recommended I find a company that could suction the section) and worked efficiently and thoroughly, moving their ladders to different sections of the house and stretching their long hoses from my outside water source to the areas they were working. After cleaning out the gutters manually, they washed the gutters out with water. They also noted some green growth on my roof which they recommended be cleaned, a service they provided but did not pressure me to buy. I found them very professional, honest, and easy to work with and I would use them again.

The job was excellent and done in a timely manner. We would definitely use them again.

Windows looked great! I was pleased they came out so quick.

I got a call about 15 minutes before the guys were supposed to be there to let me know traffic was going to have them be late about 15 minutes. They got there when they said they would. They got right to work and took my direction when it was needed. They were professional and did the work well. They stayed 15 minutes beyond their time to make up for being late. I was pleased with their professionalism and the work they did. I am having them come out again to finish another roof now that the last part is in.

Polite. On time. The right price. They cleaned the windows to a high quality. No drama.

Fantastic!! The final product is beautiful. They cleaned up after themselves. At all points of contact the personnel was friendly, courteous, competent I am already scheduling them for future work. Highly recommend.

My driveway had some moss and became slippery. I purchased a big deal of pressure washing big deal for covering 1000 sqft from Chinook service. Scheduling is easy and quick via Angie's message box. Shawna from Chinook service responded very fast. The workers came in the window of the schedule and did a beautiful job. The driveway was very nice and clean after the pressure washing. Since the area of the driveway is less than 1000 sqft, they also cleaned the sidewalk for me. I am very happy with their work and will definitely use them again.

Can't ask for much more. Good people, good price, good job, and on time.

The two men arrived early, were considerate and clear about package price was for a square footage that likely would not meet all the stated needs as we walked around. They gave me estimate of cost to do all I wanted. I agreed but was disappointed to pay $250 for 2 hours of pressure washing but the work was outstanding and result just what I needed. I own a gressurewasher and just didn't have time for this job. The men did a great job but I would likely have not pre-purchased a deal for %10 savings in future and gotten bids first.

Here's the note I sent to Chinook Services this morning: WOW!!! Travis and Kirk were wonderful! On time, quick to understand, quick to take action, neat, clean, considerate, careful -- and able to do ALL SORTS OF THINGS!!! Got SO much done!!! Really nice guys to boot! THIS IS A RAVE!!!

Guys we re on time, very nice and spent good time cleaning the gutters. I asked about shed and he threw it in for free! I had additional questions for them and they were very helpful. Impressed with company.

Did great job, only thing I would change was they forgot a section on front sidewalk in front of house & with everything else being cleaned it looked odd. Other than that a great job & price.

They were good. I did have to pay more because I exceeded the size. It was clear in the ad that more would be extra - however it's hard for me to know how much gutter square footage I've got. It took them a couple of hours to do the work, and they did everything that I asked them to do. I was pleased with them and their willingness to do what I wanted.

My gutters were in great need of getting cleaned. I contemplated doing this myself over the weekend and realized it would have taken 4 hours to do the work. Thankfully, I found this deal on Angie's list and they did great work - I would certainly use them again.

That service was really great. They were nice guys and did a great job. I did feel bad, because they went to my old location and they were half way through cleaning those gutters before I called them up to see if they were coming out. I really appreciated an thank them and for being very understanding.

Matt and Cory showed up when scheduled, were very friendly and efficient. They accomplished the job in a short time, including being confronted by several plugged downspouts. They provided advice on how I could correct them and improve the installation. I made those improvements after they left and will definately use them again for gutter cleaning and to have them install continuous gutter screens.
