Ā + 2 morea After we worked out: his making a personal telephone call of 10 minutes on my time and frequent coffee breaks of 10 to 15 minutes by his staying an half hour longer. We were fine. His work is good. He is not a high energy person but a thorough one. His best work in in the painting field. He is very knowledgeable in that area. The other task he did at reasonable pace. This is the first handyman that I have ever used that did not take normal lunch breaks on their time and them they worked the stipulated hours that we had agreed to, there were physical reasons, which I was not informed of before he came out. A very nice person to deal with.
Description of Work: He installed electric socket cover, plus one new outlet. Tighten the sink where there was a leak. Cut the grass and sprinkled lime on grass. Installed two new cabinets and lifted several boxes carrying from the living room to the lower area. His best work was in the bath room where he removed wall paper residue and glue and patchers sole ares and made helpful suggestions to me on how to proceed with the painting of the bathroom. This really made his trip here worth the money. I them decided to use him again to complete the work.

We were very satisfied with his work. We are having him come back for several more hours to finish up some more projects.
Description of Work: Fixed our broken wood fence gate, replaced 5 outdoor light fixtures, fixed our leaking shower heads, put in new fixtures in the bathroom, hung some hooks, repaired a ceiling that was damaged from water damage, bought several items at Home Depot to repair the trim in our bathroom - will save the project when he returns..

Ā + -1 moreIt took 15 minutes to spray. Jordan was polite, friendly and did a nice job I used this company last year to pressure wash my house and to spray the patio with this moss preventer. I would like to hire Chinook Services annually to prevent moss from building up. If I ever need my siding professionally pressure washed I would use this company again.

Ā + -1 moreThe service provider was very good in communicating and scheduling the service. The service crew was prompt and arrived on time, took them few minutes to set equipment up and go. My problem is related to the quality of the service, I expected most (if not all) of the stains on my drive way and entry way to be removed, unfortunately NONE of the stains were cleaned up, the drive way looked "clean" as after very heavy rain. There are two possible issues, equipment may be not up to the required quality mark or not well trained crew. What the point to have a pressure washing service if it's not doing the cleaning?
Description of Work: I bought a deal via Angie's list for pressure washing service of 1000sqf. I asked to clean the drive way and the main entrance to the home

Ā + -1 moreI bought Angie's Big Deal for Chinook Services. It was the first time I ever used such services so I wasn't sure how much was actually covered by the deal. I can't remember the name of the gentleman who always picked up the phone when I called. We communicated via email and phone very promptly. I was never even put on hold or had to leave a message. I had to reschedule once, which also went very smoothly. On the day of service, Ryan and Ryan did a fantastic job cleaning our windows inside and outside! They were punctual, courteous and professional. They took off their shoes or worn footies when they worked inside the house. It took them about 2 hours to finish the work. Our house is a little bigger than 1600 square feet, with plenty of windows. I would definitely use their window cleaning service again, even at full price. It sounds like Chinook also provides other type of services. I plan to look into them for future references. Thank you Chinook and Angie's List for making my first window cleaning experience such a success!

Ā + -1 moreTwo young men appeared at my door a little early for our 8 a.m. appointment; they were very amenable to starting on the outside rather than the inside as they had planned. (My husband was still in bed!) They used ladders and cleaned the outside windows and screens, then came inside to do the interiors. They wore "footies" over their shoes and worked around some awkward spaces. They did a very good job and I am very satisfied.
Description of Work: Washed the windows outside and inside of our split level house. I agreed to pay $3.00 per screen extra to have the 9 screens also cleaned.

Ā + 1 moreChinook called and we scheduled service for a Saturday morning. On that morning, two men from Chinook showed up right on time (actually, a little early). They told me that it might be too cold for them to do the service, but that they would check it out first. After about ten minutes, they told me that it was, indeed, too cold (the leaves and debris were frozen into the gutters). We then rescheduled for the following Tuesday. On Tuesday they once again showed up on time (actually, again, a little early) and went right to work. Two hours later my gutters were nice and clean. I found Chinook to be very pleasant and professional to work with, and I would not hesitate to use them again.

My house is a 1927 bungalow with mostly 8 up and 1 down double hung windows, which I paid a bit of a premium for but what I considered a fair cost mark up. When they left the windows were very nicely clean and there was no evidence of their being in the house otherwise. They wore booties over their shoes and took care to clean up any drips. All in all a very good experience.
