Ā + 0 moreMichael was very professional and prompt. He came prepared for the task. We had painted the interior of our home and had to replace all the base moulding. I worked with Chinook to ensure they knew what tasks we needed help finishing, so they could send the most appropriate person. Michael came prepared with the saws and equipment. We may not need baseboard installed again, but we would use the Handyman service from Chinook Services for the work we need. We highly recommend them.

Nice guys, professional, and thorough cleaning. I purchased an Angie's list deal and paid an extra fee for the second story windows, skylights, and extensive cleaning of the screen. Came home to a perfect job completed and things cleaned up after they were done. I've done this work myself in the past but it takes a long time and does not come near as well as these guys.
Description of Work: Pressure wash 2 large trex/cedar decks. Needed to get the trex cleaned and the cedar ready for re-staining.

Ā + 1 moreStaff showed up timely to do estimate, provided detailed estimate, and reasonable prices. Staff showed up on time to perform the work, were gentle with our home and yard (made sure not to get zinc on landscaping) and cleaned up completely. On first pass, they missed some spots of moss growth under the eaves. The owner Jay Bjorn sent e-mail asking for feedback, we told him of the patches under eaves and he insisted on sending another team to complete to our expectations. The second team showed up timely, did thorough job and clean up, and were again merciful to our yard and home. We are completely satisfied and are glad to know that Jay's guarantee is worth it's weight in gold! Thank you for standing behind your good name, Jay and Chinook Services!

Ā + 2 moreChinook Services and, specifically, Michael the Handyman himself are the exact reason why we came to Angie's List - they're outstanding!!! I moved into the Seattle area in the recent past (after 22 years in the Air Force) and had no idea who to call on things after our home purchase. I had a good handyman at my last home, in a different region. Michael, and Chinook Services, showed me what I was missing - even when I was happy before. I've called Chinook 3x and each time have received a prompt pick-up on the phone, or a call-back, within minutes. Even buying an Angie's List coupon - they called back within 30 minutes of me hitting the 'purchase' button. Michael showed on on the exactly at 9am as promised; not 8:59 or 9:01, but 9:00am on those nose (I'm retired from the Air Force, so that was impressive). We had told Chinook we wanted a few ceiling fans put in and 3, new, bathroom light fixtures. In the end, Michael was quick and thorough enough, that we had extra time to install an additional 2 ceiling fans, an impromptu decision by my wife, one being a vaulted ceiling fan. So we got more than we anticipated for the same cost. Chinook Services now is on our fridge as a "go-to", along with Michael's name being the individual we'd like to see again. P.S. We've thrown out the business card of our last electrician, who came to our home on another call.

They were professional in their work and did a quality job. Ryan and Ryan were a pair of polite, customer-oriented you guys and represented Chinook Services very well. I wrote out a check to Chinook Services for the total amount and handed it to Ryan. He thanked me and started to walk away, then stopped, turned and handed the check back to me. "Sir, you only owes us for the tax, you paid Angie's for the rest". I had forgotten that. I thanked Ryan and wrote out a check for the lesser amount. I appreciated that.
