Excellent service in every aspect. Scheduling the appointment through Nichole was seamless and easy and she followed up to confirm the appointment. When she learned the guys could actually get out here even earlier than originally scheduled she called and asked if that would be okay and was open to the time that was best for me. She is pleasant courteous professional and just a joy to work with. The two guys who did the work were prompt courteous and professional as well -- so I can only assume that all the employees at Chinook Services are terrific to deal with. Matthew and Daniel got the job done quickly and efficiently and they cleaned up after themselves so that everything was tidy and actually looked better than before they came here. I could not be more pleased. The amount invoiced was exactly what we had agreed upon. The communication with Chinook Services through email as well as on the phone is perfection. They are just really easy to work with -- and they do an excellent job. There was no push to purchase other services like I have experienced with other providers. I highly recommend these guys and I will definitely use them in the future.

The gentlemen showed up a bit late. They were very polite and courteous. Introduced themselves. Then began power washing. It took about an hour to wash the 1000 sq foot area. They let me know when they were completed and alerted me that an invoice will be sent to me to collect the state sales tax. It's been raining continuously since their service, so it's hard to tell for sure how effective they were. However, it does look clean.

Second time that I have used the service, and was entirely pleased by their work.

There were two workers and they were on time and did a great job very quickly.

The Chinook Services window washer showed up right on time and went right to work. We only needed him to wash the exterior of the windows. He washed the window screens in addition. And for a little extra cost, he also agreed to do the best he could in washing the plastic covered screens on the back of our deck. He did a terrific job! For all that he was done in about 2 hours. We are very pleased with his work, and will likely call and employ Chinook Services in the future.

dily There was some minor initial confusion because the repair person went to my home address instead of the condo address where the work needed to be done. When he got to the condo unit, he quickly assessed the problem and then went to Home Depot to pick up the appropriate mortar that was needed to reset the tiles. The work done was excellent and the quality and expertise he had in doing the repair made me very glad that I called for service rather than trying to do it myself. The original bill included time for going to the wrong address. When I mentioned this to Jay Bjorn, the owner of Chinook Services, he provided a "coupon" for $25 off the next service call and a $62.50 rebate on the bill. The work was well done, the service was efficient and Chinook provided a rebate on the billing for the time very straightforwardly. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Original post: After 3 visits by 3 different technicians over the course of 3 months, exactly nothing has been accomplished on the task that I hired Chinook Services' handyman to do. On two of the occasions one of the two men expected was more than 30 minutes late. On one occasion the man in charge of the job did not show up at all. On that occasion the man that did show up damaged one of the tracks that I had provided. On each occasion there were always excuses why "we will have to finish this on the next visit." The only thing that happened was that the garage door is now nailed/screwed to the shed instead of being on a track. I do not have access through that door at all. In spite of this, I was charged $317 (in spite of the offer being advertised at $299), and now I'm being billed for another $177. Response to company's claims below: "...some information you have written is not correct." Nothing that I wrote was incorrect. "Our service records indicate that we went to your home on June 4th to begin the services you requested." Agreed. "After beginning the work, you were waiting to pick up the remaining materials needed to complete your project." I don't understand what this statement means, so I cannot comment on it. "You scheduled for our technician to return to complete the work and turned our technician away." Disagree. I was charged at least 2 hours for the first visit, and was only then informed that additional materials were needed to complete the installation (I had purchased tracks but needed lumber and fasteners to attach the door to the rollers). I agreed to obtain the materials requested and schedule another visit to finish the job. I did not "turn the technician away." "A follow up appointment was scheduled on July 17th for us to complete the work after you received your purchased materials." Agreed, although the date was June 24th. I purchased the lumber and fasteners and had them ready for this appointment. However, this time Al, the technician in charge, did not show up, and the second technician, while waiting for Al, broke a bracket off of one of the tracks. I called the office to complain, spoke to Nicole about the issue, and was told that she would check with the technician and get back to me. I never received a call back. Eventually I figured out that the rails could still be used without the one bracket, and I decided to let the damage slide. "Our technicians were unable to complete the work because the materials you supplied came damaged from the manufacturer." I strongly disagree. YOUR TECHNICIAN damaged one of the tracks that I had purchased for the job. My complaint about that to Nicole, Customer Care Manager, was ignored. (italics mine) In a last (and regrettable) attempt to get this job completed, I scheduled another visit. I believe this was the July 17th visit. This time the excuse (after more than an hour of "work") was that the tracks weren?t perfectly straight. I agreed that they weren?t perfect, but I believed they would work and urged the technicians to put them up anyway. Al argued with me, and finally I realized that these people were never going to accomplish anything, so I dismissed them. ?We were more than happy to return and complete the services that began with you on June 4th, however, to this date you have not been in contact with us to allow us the opportunity to complete your work or come to a resolution with your account.? Agreed. I did not, and will not, call this company back to my home for any reason. To reiterate: The only thing that Chinook ?accomplished? was that, since June 4, 2015, my garage door is now nailed/screwed to the shed instead of being on a track. For my part, I missed nearly a full day of work, I am out $317, and Chinook has reported me to a collection agency for a billing of $177 more.

WOW -- the best window cleaning job I've ever had! Setting the appointment was easy and Chinook also gave me a reminder call several days before. Chris and Ryan were the 2 guys that came to the house. They were both courteous and professional and their attention to detail was unmatched! They were also good with our crazy dog. Thank you Chinook and Chris and Ryan -- I can see clearly now!

Chinook was AWESOME! The guys showed up on time, were super pleasant and professional, and they did a really nice job. I expected to come home and find debris in my yard and on the porch, but everything was neat and tidy. Highly recommend, and we'll be having you back out to do some pressure washing and other services.

Really nice guys, professional and quiet. Went about their work without needing anything from me. They did a great job without disturbing anything including plants outdoors beneath the Windows. Used a ladder for second story work in a safe and professional manner.

Fantastic work, given the difficulty of our home. The only downside is they book out pretty far in advance, so you may need to plan ahead to book them. We bought them with a package and it was the best value around by far.

I called the company to arrange a date for service and the employee on the phone was friendly and helpful. On the day of service, the company sent two employees to wash all of my windows. The workers arrived late by 30 minutes. I have an 18 month old daughter and the workers were patient and careful while working around her. They even retrieved a small ball that was stuck high up on a window ledge! The workers cleaned quickly and efficiently and did an overall great job.

Ryan and Mathew showed called to see if they could come early as they were in the area and I had no problem with that and appreciated the call. They arrived and began work but since the special ladder they needed was on another job they asked permission to walk on the roof. I said it would be ok as long as they only walked on the low spots as I have an Interlock Roof (trade name) which is rather thin aluminum and could be easily damaged. They finished the job but three days later in bright sunlight I noticed that the roof had been damaged in a couple of places. I called the owner, Jay Bjorn, who promptly came out to check out the damage. Jay was extremely helpful and offered to make the necessary repairs. A few weeks later (I was going on vacation) Chad came by and did an excellent job of making the repair. While I would have preferred that the damage had not been done I am very appreciative at the response by Jay and his team at Chinook Services.

We initially purchased a $149 coupon for window washing coupon through Angie's List, for a 3 story house. Our house has some extra windows, so we had to pay a (reasonable) extra fee a little bit above the coupon price. The dispatcher Nicole was polite and responsive, the guys showed up on time and had very positive attitudes, and they did a very good job on the windows. They looked extremely clean. Would definitely use and hire these guys again.

Windows looked good. They worked around our "stuff" on or close to window sills and made it very easy for us.

I did the 4 hours for $200 coupon deal as a means of getting the project started, and figuring out what really needed doing. If I was lucky they would have disagreed that the chimney needed rebuilding, and they would have just replaced some siding, and it might have been done for the minimum. After assessing the situation Michael said he could do the worst of the siding in the 4 hours, and I could caulk the heck out of the chimney, and we could be done with it. If I were selling the house, that might be what I would want to do, and then see what happened when it was inspected. But if this was a house I was planning to live in for many years to come, then the chimney really should be rebuilt, and had I noticed this bad siding here, and... Since we're planning to be here for many years to come, and since I like to do things right, we signed up for more extensive work. Things took as long as Michael predicted and the end result appears to be very solid and very well finished. I liked the fact that Chinook encouraged me to go buy the lumber needed to complete the job - as I shop for lumber for $0 per hour. (I highly recommend Cedarbrook Lumber in Woodinville/Maltby if you need cedar.) The only difficulty was that Michael was booked for many weeks after the initial consultation, so it took awhile for the project to be completed.

This is the second year we've used Chinook. They did a great job of cleaning the gutters and are always very meticulous about clean-up. Additionally, they gave us some good advice about adding another drain spout. We highly recommend them.

I had the same guy for 3 different days. He was very particular about his work, in other words a perfectionist. My place looked like new, sold it above asking price in a weekend, this work helped a bunch.

I use Chinook services for gutter cleaning and window washing at my home and rental properties. On this occasion gutters were cleaned. As always, they are fast, professional and prices reasonable. I have been using this company for several years now.
