Chinook Services is AWESOME!! Two young guys arrived on time late Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. They were polite, professional and courteous. They did an EXCELLENT job and did not rush through it just to get it done and leave like so many service providers do. They did a through job and asked if there was anything else they could do for me. They even coiled my hose and put it back. So refreshing to have a provider do the service they are paid to do and do a great job.

The two young men, Jordan and Ryan, who provided the service were very efficient, courteous, and did a great job. My only criticism is with the support staff. When I called, Darlene couldn't give me a straight answer about what the cost would be if I bought the "Angie's deal" vs. contracting directly with Chinook. Either she can't add or she didn't want me to buy the "deal" (thereby saving myself $71). I bought the deal then called to schedule. Regrettably when I called, I got Darlene again. First, she kept me waiting 10 minutes while she finished whatever it was she was doing when I called, then she started going through her calendar only to discover that "wait, no, we can't do it on that day; let's try...no wait can't do it that day either" It took another 10 minutes to get a date and time settled. So, if you can ignore the setup hassle, the actual service was very good. I would use them again and just pray that I get someone other than Darlene to setup.

5/22/16: Chinook showed up within the quoted time frame on the 11th. The workers were friendly. I took them around & showed them several jobs I wanted quotes for. They said they'd take pictures and someone would get back to me with prices or other arrangements. When the work was complete one of the workers came to the door to let me know, and made it plain that he expected a tip. Having not been prepared to tip them (and having never even had a tip hinted at by another worker on a job at my home) all I had was $6 in cash, which I gave him. The only response to my request for quotes was (and still is) a statement demanding payment of the additional amount within "5 Business Days" (my house was larger than their special allowed, and Angie's List didn't include taxes). The statement didn't indicate the date they were measuring from, but in as much as the only date on the statement was the "Job Date", it wasn't possible for me to comply since I didn't receive the statement within that 5 day period. In any case, if asked, I would have given the workers a check on the spot. I am disappointed that there has been no quotes, especially for the window washing, since the lady on the phone with me when I set the date for the service was fully aware that I was requesting additional quotes.

We were given a time for the service (12:30-1:30, a 90-minute job at most), scheduled by Nicole, which they didn't confirm the day of. I called them on my way home to meet the technician for my appointment, just to make sure they were still coming within our designated timeframe. I was told they would arrive by 1:30, as they were on their way from another job site. They never arrived, and upon closer inspection, it looked as if someone had come earlier and done a very shoddy job. Much of what was discussed of the scope of work needing completed was not done, and what was done was done poorly. I requested a refund, which they flatly denied. I do not recommend you use this company.

We used Chinook Services last year for exterior job and though they did a nice job. This spring we had some small jobs for our house and were looking for handyman again. I called the Chinook Services and inquired IF they are interested in the job. The receptionist made an appointment with me and I marked it on my calendar for 5/20 right away. I remember it specifically because it was supposed to be on Friday morning, a weekend that I will be at home. Last year, when we book the estimate, they told me there's an estimation fee of $40. This year, they didn't notify me of the charge at all. Then, surprise! On 5/12, my husband found the guy from Chinook Services knocking on our door and since his calendar was synchronized with me, he wasn't aware of the appointment was an estimate. I didn't have time to cancel ahead either, so we were charge with a service cancellation fee instead. It's $125, but the person only spent 15 minutes here and didn't do anything! When I called the office, the manager told me their estimation fee is now $125! And she mocked me for not being unable to understand what was communicated to me and insisted as a business they can charge whatever they want, even if we never had an agreement on that. I am furious with the unprofessional services of this company and will never do business with it again. As I said, if you want to make an appointment for estimate for this service again: record your phone calls and hire a lawyer first. I stand by what I said and anyone can get verification from me.

Great - on time, friendly, did a great job. They didn't just use a hose, it was a circular machine that really cleaned the surface. It has never looked so good!

We are completely satisfied with the work performed by Chinook Services. This is the second time we have used Chinook Services (the first was for window cleaning last year) and both times we were met with friendly professional workers. They explained what they would do and about how long it would take. Afterwards they again greeted us to say they were done. Cleanup met expectations as well as the work performed. We will consider Chinook Services in the future for work to be performed.

We had Ryan from Chinook Services do are windows, this is the second time. They are very professional and courteous. Great service overall. I can recommend them highly.

Job was scheduled very quickly and easily. They were on-time, professional, and did exceptional job. This was the second time they have cleaned my gutters. Very happy with their work. Will hire again!!

They did a great job, and they were on time, and very efficient. I would recommend them to anyone.

The Chinook team was FANTASTIC! I have three huge cedars and between the seasonal leaves and the recent windstorms, my roof was really covered in debris. Jason and Cory cleaned off everything (the debris piles that came off were huge) and then they cleaned up all the debris that has fallen on my upper and lower decks. They also applied moss treatment since my moss was heavier than I'd thought. I will absolutely use them in the future.

The crew of 2 arrived on time, and were very efficient. It was raining heavily, which definitely did not make their work easier. Probably that is why they forgot to clean the screen on a large 2nd floor window at all, and left the upper middle half of that window dirty. I'll use them next time, but with a much more meticulous quality control on my end.

Please avoid this company!! Incorrect estimates and they don't finish what they agree to do and their workers are rude. I looked at their good reviews and asked them to do the following tasks: - Put baseboard trims in a room (90 linear foot) - Replace a bifold door - Replace bathroom exhaust - Replace kitchen faucet - Paint a wall - Replace a switch - Replace shower head - Trims in the bed room is time permits Over the phone, I was told that putting base boards will take most of the time but they will be able to get through it. Nicole also mentioned that they person who will come to work at my place can give more accurate estimate. Allen came to work. He showed up 45 minutes late. I told him the list and he said he can do it all in 8 hours. Then he looked at the exhaust and said he can't do it. (Should have left some spare time) Then he looked at the faucet and said he cant do it (Should have left some more spare time) Then he spent 4 hours putting the trims around the living room. He was still positive that he can do everything Then he replaced the door though it was not done correctly, spent 30 minutes Then he replaced the switch in the kitchen (15 minutes) Then he replaced the shower head (15 minutes) Then painted the trims for 1.5 hours (he was slow, very slow) Then he fixed the door for 30 minutes as it could have fallen down on me or the people living in the house. Took 30 minutes in breaks (yeah I paid for the time and Nicole told me he can do that by law. great do that) During the day he said he will replace the trims in the bedroom as he could not do 3 tasks he agreed to do earlier but he refused to do it later. He got rude and angry when I asked him about this task. He was very slow and he wasted the whole day just putting trims and doing some small tasks. Yeah!! I was paying by the hour so he can take advantage of this. I am highly disappointed with both Nicole and Allen. Mainly because they can't honor what they agree to deliver. Being rude is definitely not acceptable. I wish they could have atleast shown an intent to help me out or fix the problem but looks like they are just interested in money not goodwill. May be that is what matters!! I feel CHEATED and STUPID that I hired them and certainly I am not hiring them ever again. Also not recommending this company to any of my friends. Never again!!

When I first used them I gave them an excellent rating when I used Michael. I requested Michael instead they sent a guy named Burt. I was told two different stories regarding how long Burt has been working with Chinook Services. He told me a week and Jay stated he was there a month or so. I told Michael how frustrating it was trying to work with Burt who wasn't nearly as efficient as he was. Michael told me that they lose money on Angie?s List. So they hire less experienced people to help with the influx of jobs. I told Jay & Michael I told Corey I wanted Michael whom I used last year and had a good experienced and in turn gave them all A's. They sent out Burt and he looked at the garbage disposal for hours and the reverse osmosis. After four hours he did not have much completed. Burt stated that Michael knew more about plumbing. I stated that I was concern that the work was not going to be completed timely. I stated when I made the appointment I told Corey the projects I needed completed and he said oh that should take Michael about 4 hours. I said I have some stuff to be completed as well. He stated that he was going to do his best to get it done. He stated he would stay all evening if that's what it took. About 4pm he stated I forgot they have a GPS on my truck and they track us so I will have to leave by 5. I called the owner and spoke to Jay. He asked if I would send him pictures of the work and he apologized that hardly anything got done. When Burt first arrived I asked him to complete the 2 sections of the fence. After he stared at it for an hour he told me we need some more parts. I called my husband and asked him if he could run to home depot. He looked at the fence and he stated that I needed more parts and more wood. I called my husband a second time to get more items. At first when I called them Jay the owner was very nice and he asked what he could do to fix the situation. After all the problems they decided to send Michael out and all he could do is the garbage disposal because Burt was with one of his customers and he stated he had wanted to go out there so Burt wouldn't mess that one up. Michael stated I will try to come back Feb 19th. He will let the office know specifically, Jay. I never heard from Jay. I sent him an email and left a voice message. I still didn't hear from Jay, the owner. On the morning of the Feb. 19th Nicole called and said Michael had an emergency so she will reschedule and now he won't be coming until Feb. 29th. They called this morning and said they are going to do one hour of work and anything after was $85 an hour. I was not ok with this and I wanted to talk to (Jay) the owner but Michael said Jay was on vacation. I said I thought Nicole said he was on vacation last week. Nicole called me and said they will send Michael back and won't charge me additional. I told Michael Nicole seems like a nice person and he stated sometimes she is but today she treated me like a slave and Jay was standing right there and didn't say anything. I said I thought you said Jay was on vacation and that's why he couldn't talk to me this morning when you said Jay stated I should pay additional from my Angie's price of $399 for 8 hours because Burts time was worth something. The point is my work didn't get completed and what did get completed was not done professionally. This morning Michael finished garbage disposal, finish reverse osmosis, took down the pot rack Burt put my ceiling. He then stated my kitchen drawer needed new sliders I would have to get at Home Depot. He looked at the new pot rack and said this needed additional anchors. He then went outside and started on fence. He said do you have the brackets I said yes and handed him the brackets. He said on the Angie's List deals we are entitled to an hour lunch and 2 breaks and I'm going to take them. I said well as along as the work gets completed. He said the time comes out of Angie's Deal. He said it states it right on the deal. So, I said so we?re not getting eight hours we are getting 6 and half hours. He also looked at the fence that Bert was working on and stated I still needed more parts even though my husband went to home depot twice after Burt stated we needed more parts. I told him that they should go because I cannot leave and we have already made two trips on their company's advice. He said Burt no longer works at Chinook and he would have to charge me $85. Michael said I have already worked four hours for free today. I stated I paid for 8 hours so you?re not working for free. Michael stated this is my time, my labor. I wanted to tell him then he shouldn't have been talking to me about his personal life because I felt he was there to make a wrong a right. I stated my time is worth a lot to me as well. I said we are also a small business & I value my time as much as anyone else. I told Michael I felt he was insulting and he stated he felt that I was insulting. I said it is best to call Jay and asked him if he is willing to have you go to the store so my work can finally be completed once and for all. Michael said no and he left. He never brought my fence brackets to me. I looked on my porch and I didn't see them instead he left his garbage on my porch. He left a pile of plastic he used to put on my granite countertop when he was patching the ceiling from removing the pot rack. The same pot rack that Chinook services had Burt put up that Michael said would of eventually fell. I told Michael that would have been great if that would have fell on someone. He stated or fell and cracked your granite. I have the email I wrote Jay where he never responded that I can forward to you. This is the email I told Nicole that Jay never called me back after I left a voice message on his phone. And she stated he doesn't always look at his phone or emails. I stated as a business owner I am really shocked and surprised he wouldn't want to service his customers. They originally told me all the work that I needed done would be completed within the 8 hours but nothing got done. They left a lot of work incomplete and nothing got finished and they are now wanting to charge me $85 per hour.

The team was amazing: prompt, friendly and very, very thorough in their work. They did everything I could have asked for and more. I will absolutely use them again.

Chinook arrived on time and did an excellent job of cleaning all the windows in the house. They were fats and efficient, as well as very courteous. I will certainly be using them again in the future.

Not only did they clean the rain gutters, they did a little extra and cleaned some moss from the roof. They were on time.

I cant express enough how pleased I am w Chinook Services...from the phone call to the office to the end of the job. They are professional, polite, kind, priced fair, and do a great job!! This was my second time having them to my home and was happy that the second job was the same wonderful service as the first. He was late due to traffic, but called ahead and let me know, which I appreciated. Work was done OK, but a bit slower than my expectations (I got a good rate on my services through Angie's List, so the overall cost for work performed was still somewhat reasonable). A hose that was replaced on my dishwasher was installed in such a way that will not allow me to re-install the base plate (although in all fairness when he arrived I had already removed the base plate and he may have assumed it didn't have one) and so I may have to pull out the dish washer again to re-install the hose a different way. . Customer service was very responsive and easy to work with. This was my first experience hiring a handman and the overall experience was OK, but not great.
