Description of Work: Cancelled due to the fact that they required pre-payment for services on the Angie's List Deal. I am not going to pay up front for a job that has not been seen. This reeks of once we have your money we are in the drivers seat, and who know what charges will be added on. Have quotes on the job from others that clearly state up front what will be done with no hidden costs.

Description of Work: I had purchased the $299 handyman for a day. However, even after the initial estimate, it cost us $900. We needed a couple locations where an electrician had used sight holes to install a light and a couple ceiling fan to be spackled and painted. We also had a few other minor tasks assigned. The handyman mismatched the paint the first time, spending 5 hours in a Home Depot. And, yes, I was charged for those 5 hours. However, they did do an excellent job, although they were consistently a half hour late and had to reschedule appointments twice.

Description of Work: cleaned gutters. I was given 2 prices and then a bill for $79 was send about 4-6 months after service. I was not told about the additional cost when the service was performed. |I would never used this company again. |They did a terrible job.

Description of Work: Chinook's handymen did a number of jobs that would be difficult for us, including moving furniture, securing cabinets to the wall, and hanging pictures. These were done efficiently; we definitely got our 8 hours' worth, and the guys who came were extremely pleasant.
