Boyd was very responsive and came out to look over the project and provide a quote. He has a heavy Polynesian accent so it can be a bit hard to understand him at first, but overall he was great to work with. They did some light demo of a wood platform and and small concrete slab and then framed and poured a patio extending the length of our house. The color and texture we chose came out just right. He came on time, got everything done exactly as he said it would be, and it turned out very good. I would hire him again.

We hired Boyd and his team to pour a new concrete patio (approx 19x16 ft) and get rid of an existing concrete step. He got back to me quickly to set up a time to come view the work that needed to be done. Our job was small compared to other jobs he had, so they fit us in when they were available- we only waited about two weeks for them to complete the work after they gave us an estimate. In addition to the patio, we also had ledger boards where the old deck was and they removed that for no additional charge. He also gave an estimate for our driveway, but we are waiting on that. Overall, we were satisfied with his work and would hire him again.

I contacted Boyd after reading numerous reviews exhibiting good work at a fair price. He arranged to come out within the week for a quote. He needed to change the appointment the night before to an earlier time which we accommodated. When he came out he give us a somewhat complete bid he stated the project would require a pump truck due to our location and accessibility of our backyard. I had to contact him again for a final bid including the pump truck expense. He did reply with the final bid in a few days and within a week of speaking with him I contacted him once again to make final arrangements as we wanted to proceed with his bid. This was the last time we ever heard back from Boyd. I made two additional phone calls and an email that we’re unreturned. This was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Our project was relatively small in nature at only $3700 bid price but at the very least I would expect a businesss to reply and state they were booked up or unable to complete the project at this time. This never happened it became clear this business was picking their projects based on price which I understand but would typically consider bad business practices. We were left with no choice but to move on and I would it suggest Boyd or his company after such an experience. I have had plenty of great experience using Angieslist in the past!

Great. Nothing fancy. Just wanted a wider driveway. They quickly got me on their schedule and I love the functionality of the wider driveway. They were alsothe only company that showed me prior work that was similar to what I wanted. I really appreciated that.

Boyd did an excellent job of replacing cement panels on an easement around our home. He was responsive and completed the job as bid. The work was high quality with Boyd going the extra mile to make sure it was done right We would hire the company again and recommend his services.

I received a call the next day after requesting. When I called back, it was a cell phone who sounded like I just woke him up. But didn't ID as a business phone or attempt to say he was. To confirm I called back a second time, from a different number, and same result. If someone doesn't take the time to say they are from a bussence something shady is going on...

I spoke with Boyd who came out 2 hours later and did the estimate and was on-site for the entire project. I even found him working without a crew on some days finishing up and cleaning up the work area (even my son mentioned that they had cleaned up the area daily). The challenge for this project was getting into the rainy season, but we found a few nice days and we have a new driveway/walkway that we are super happy with. Boyd came back on a Saturday and washed out the common area in the street, picked up the concrete. He was very responsive returning voice mails and answering any questions that I had, to my satisfaction. Great job!!! I couldn't wait to take pictures so the one's I'm posting are from the day of the pour and not when all the clean-up was done!

I contacted Boyd because they had done a concrete slab for a shed for me before. I could tell that the sized of the project was a little overwhelming at first but once we discussed it, we decided to break it into two projects to make it manageable. Boyd and his crew always arrived when they said they would and he had an extra large crew for the concrete pour days. I had some concerns about how some of it would come together because of different heights of he garage and landscaping features but Boyd had already thought about those things and some that I hadn't even considered. Phase one of the project turned out better than I expected and I look forward to having them back to do phase two next year.

This is the second time I've worked with Boyd with what turned out to be about a 6500 sq foot project. This was phase two and about 3800 sq feet. He was very good about returning my calls and always showed up when he said he would. Given the quality of the work I felt the price was reasonable. This project continued where Phase 1 ended. Even done a year apart you can barely tell where the first part ended and the second started. Being that the area was so big, he showed up with extra people in his crew for the concrete pouring days and somehow kept all those people moving as a team. Boyd has a great attention to detail and provided good design guidance. Every relief line was perfectly laid out to match the design. Now that it has been about 4 months and the rainy winter is well under way, I can see how well he planned for runoff and drainage. There is no pooling except in one corner that he warned me about and that is fine as long as I keep the drain in that corner cleared of debris.

The crew did an excellent job - all work completed in two days even digging a ditch for water run off on the down side of the driveway. Site was cleaned up well - hard working crew...highly recommend!

Boyd was very responsive and came out right away to give an estimate, even during a very busy summer season. His estimate was considerably less expensive than the others we received. They were able to schedule us a few weeks out. They arrived right on time, and their crew was professional, friendly and very efficient. They finished as promised and cleaned up all their equipment. The patio is beautiful and we are thrilled with it. We would definitely recommend Boyd and Center C Construction and would use them again for any concrete pouring needs.

The job went very smoothly. Boyd came out and gave a very fair bid. They demo'd the old concrete driveway, sidewalk, and porch on Monday, prepped & framed on Tuesday, and poured on Wednesday. They were back the following Wednesday to pull the supporting framework and are returning in 28 days, after curing, to add a gravel ramp to our backyard gate. Boyd ran the crew. He was there every day. They were respectful and courteous.

Excellent. Boyd came out same day that I contacted him through Angie's List. Gave me a verbal quote that night. Crew started the job on time and had the prep and poured (6 inch reinforced with steel) by the end of the week. Very nice looking driveway. Would hire again in a minute.

They came and replaced our house front sidewalk. They broke apart and disposed of the old concrete, laid out the forms for the new sidewalk, then had concrete delivered and they leveled out everything. We are very happy with the job they did for us.

I contacted Center Construction early in the year and Boyd came out to give me a bid and showed me photos of his previous work. After a couple of weeks I contacted him to add us to the schedule. It was a cold and wet spring so we had to postpone a couple of times. When the weather finally warmed up the crew showed up to level and frame, pour and stamp and remove the frames over the course of four days with one day in-between for the cement to harden and cure. The crew and Boyd were all polite and friendly and showed up on time each day. The end result was a quality job that adds value and beauty to our home and property. We recommended Center Construction to friends of ours who also had a patio and walkway installed and they were very happy. I will be happy to recommend them to friends and family.

Boyd and his crew did a fine job, worked hard on HOT summer day, were courteous, and went the extra mile when needed. They added drains to collect water flow which we just witnessed working great in a horrendous downpour. We have already had neighbors asking for his information which we gladly provided. Boyd is honest, hardworking, and an all around good person. You won't be sorry you dialed his number.

Boyd of Center Construction was a pleasure to work with. He and his team are very good and knowledgeable. Boyd followed through with everything he said he would do. We had approximately $30,000 worth of work performed and we have no regrets. We highly recommend Center Construction for any cement related work that needs to be done.

Center Construction did an excellent job extending my existing driveway. The new driveway watches the existing driveway perfectly.

They showed up when they said they would which I appreciated. Spent 2 days removing old slab and prepping site, then poured and finished the 3rd day. Removed forms and did final clean-up 3 days later. To make it drain properly one corner needed to be slightly lower than the original pad and I will need to remove and re-set a portion of an abutting slate walkway to match the grade. The only thing I would have asked they do differently was to identify this problem prior to beginning the project. Would have ended up with the same result, though. Hard workers and it's a nice-looking pad.

Boyd met with us to hear about the job we wanted done and to look at the plan drawn up by our bamboo contractor. He made an very important correction to the plan which resulted in the planters being much stronger than they would have been if he'd gone with the original plan. He was very empathetic about the fact that the first person we'd contracted with for the concrete job had left us in the lurch. The pots of bamboo had been sitting on the lawn for more than a month and were desperately in need of planting. Boyd gave us a quote for the job right away and went the extra mile in somehow working his schedule so that he and his crew could begin the job the following week. The job we wanted done was hugely important to us. A gigantic three-story house had gone up next door to us with seventeen windows facing our yard. We'd decided that the only way we could continue living here was to restore some of our privacy. Boyd really understood that and was sympathetic. Boyd communicated with us frequently, explaining the process and the schedule. When he needed to be a bit late he called us and let us know. He and his crew were upbeat and congenial, all in all very pleasant to have working on the site. The quality of their work was/is exceptional. After the crew had left on the final day I found myself thinking that of all of the people we've hired to work for us during the thirty-five years we've lived in our house, Boyd and his crew were by far the best of all.

We had three different contractors come out to give us a bid. Boyd was the only one that told us that he loved our design but wanted to suggest some major changes to help with price. It seemed like Boyd knew his stuff and so we not only did the front yard and walkway we also did our backyard deck area at a low price. The other contractors only wanted to add more stuff until the price was out of our range. Boyd could also do the job on our schedule and was done fast within a week and left us wanting him to come back to do our driveway in the future. The crew came and was gone so fast that all our neighbors were very impressed with the work. Boyd is a man who knows his job and his crew makes things happen. We only need to add some flowers and then we can send photos!

Boyd and his crew were prompt and professional. It was a four day job that required a bit of framing geometry before the cement could be poured. Boyd worked hard to give the project symmetry and it turned out perfect. We are very pleased. From the time we agreed on a price to the time the project was finished was less than a week. When the job was finished they cleaned up everything, except for the beautiful floor you would not know they were even there. I would recommend him to anyone in the area and plan to use him again for some driveway work I'll be doing in the future.

Boyd came out and did a very thorough estimate showed us samples of his previous work and listened to all we wanted done. He and his crew were very prompt and courteous. His communication was excellent. Always updated us on the status of the project. They were very quick and professional and got the job done in a timely manner.
